Apple Bloom's Jackbox Summer

It was the third day in the home of the Devil Family. Inside, the Pie Family, along with Mud Briar and Apple Bloom, are enjoying some bagels the parents brought home.

"Friends," Cloudy Quartz informed, "this is day three of us watching this house for the Devil Family. We've been doing good so far. Especially setting up for that Tiki Party coming up later today. But, we cannot slack. The Devils are counting on us."

"Cloudy is right." Igneous Rock added. "We've been very lucky dodging the bullet. But remember, there are temptations to pull a selfish task. We must resist that temptation at all costs."

"Well said, sir." Said another male voice.

It was the worker from the Demon/Human Relations Program. And, he applauded what Mr. and Mrs. Pie said.

"The Devil Family will be back today." The worker said. "So, don't let me or them down. Good luck on your third and last day."

The worker left the house, and Igneous Rock Pie spoke up. "You heard what he said. Let's finish up here and get back to work!"

Soon, everybody spread out to do their jobs. Maud was on the phone with a cable company. "The Devil Family will appreciate that. Thank you, sir."

As she hung up, Marble came along. "What was that about?"

"A cable company said that this family will receive a good priced package." Maud informed. "I'll be sure to tell them the good news."

Inside the kitchen, Pinkie was sorting out storage containers to put in a cabinet.

"Excellent sorting, Miss Pinkie." Mud Briar commented. "Now, there's more room in the cabinet."

"Thanks, Mud Briar." Pinkie replied. "Just doing my best."

"Let's keep it up. This family is counting on all of us."

Outside in the backyard, Cloudy Quartz and Limestone set up some Tiki Torches while Igneous Rock and Apple Bloom washed down a BBQ grill.

"Thank you for helping me clean this grill." Igneous Rock praised.

"You're welcome, sir." Apple Bloom said proudly. "I'm used to cleaning grills like this back home."

As Apple Bloom uses a towel to help dry the grill, Limestone comes in to make a suggestion. "Hey, how about your family helping us with the food? I heard even Granny Smith is good with cooking."

"That's a good idea." Apple Bloom replied. "I'll start calling right away."

Back at Sweet Apple Acres, Granny Smith received the call. "That's a good idea, Apple Bloom. We'll be there."

Granny Smith hung up as Applejack comes in. "Was that Apple Bloom calling from Jackbox Village?"

"That's her." Granny Smith answered. "She and the Pies are getting things ready for a party at the Devil Family's house. And, they want our help with the barbecue grill."

"Those are the folks from The Devils and the Details. Right?"

"That's them. Set for a trip to the village?"

"You bet. I'll get Big Mac!"

Applejack runs off to fetch her brother. Back in the home of the Devil Family, the Pies and friends look at the Tiki set up.

"Wonderful work, everybody." Igneous Rock said. "The family will be proud of us."

"Let's celebrate with some smoothies." Cloudy Quartz suggested. "Pinkie, help me in the kitchen?"

"Sure thing, mom." Pinkie replied.

Later, inside the kitchen, Pinkie and her mom set up eight tropical smoothies. They washed the blender and other stuff, and served the drinks to everyone.

"Here's to a successful three days." Cloudy Quartz.

Everybody raised their glasses as a male voice calls to them. "Mind if we join this celebration?"

They turned and saw eight well known figures. It was the Devil Family themselves.

"Hello, Pie Family." The Devil Dad said. "We're home!"

"The Devil Family?" Limestone gasped. "I don't believe it!"

The mother approached Apple Bloom and was happy to see her. "Good to see you again, Apple Bloom."

"Howdy, Devil Mom." Apple Bloom said happily.

As the two ladies hugged each other, Pinkie asked an important question. "Pardon me, folks. Did you bring your cat with you?"

The teenage devil with glasses brought a travel case for pets. "Indeed we did. Wouldn't want him to ruin your hard work."

Inside the case, the cat meowed angrily, knowing it didn't cause mayhem. The three kids talked to Marble as the teenage daughter spoke to Limestone. "You and your family did a good job watching over the house."

"It was our pleasure." Limestone replied. "We did have some help from Mud Briar and Apple Bloom, you know."

"I like to meet AB's friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo one day. I heard good things about the Cutie Mark Crusaders."

Then, the hooded teenager got everybody's attention. "Check out this set up in the backyard. It's awesome."

Everybody went to backyard to check it out. The Devil Family are impressed with the Tiki environment decorations.

"Wow!" The Devil girl with pigtails cried. "I like it."

"Me too." One of the boys added. "This Tiki Party is going to be cool!"

Devil Dad shook Igneous Rock's hand in friendship. Later that day, the sun was setting as the families were enjoying themselves. Applejack and Big Macintosh manned the grill to serve the food. The Pie sisters and Apple Bloom wore the grass skirts to perform for the Devil Family. The crowd applauded the performance. Soon, the devil worker steps in.

"Now, this is a party." The worker said. "Congratulations, Pie Family. This turned out to be a grand night." He then pulls out a piece of paper. "The boss downstairs graded you folks an A. Every task related to this party is done."

The Devil Family clapped for the Pies. Applejack hugged her little sister. "You did good, sis. Pinkie and her family must be proud of you."

"Aw. Thanks, Applejack." Apple Bloom said with a tear in her eye.

The Devil worker got everybody's attention. "How about a picture of both families to commemorate this occasion?"

"Good idea." Devil Dad replied. "Pies, Apple Bloom, Mud Briar, join us.'

The Pie Family and friends joined the Devil Family for a group picture. Applejack and her family are proud of Apple Bloom. This is the greatest accomplishment she ever did in Jackbox Village
