August 24-Thinking Back

Time for a walk down memory lane as Apple Bloom recalls her experiences.
August 24-Thinking Back
The sun rises to welcome a new day as Apple Bloom gets dressed for her yoga stretches. She sees herself wearing a long sleeve navy colored shirt and black 3/4 exercise pants. "I should thank Rarity for these clothes she gave me a few days ago."
She started to stretch with music coming from her smartphone. After her exercise, she meditated quietly. Soon, her smartphone let out a gentle chime. Slowly opening her eyes, Apple Bloom looked at her phone. "Eight minutes! And, I never noticed. Next time, I'll go for nine."
After changing clothes, she toasted up a bagel. Olga and the Felmanders came by to see what she was up to.
"Peanut butter and jelly on a bagel?" Amy gasped.
"Anything can go on a bagel these days, ma'am." Olga explained. "I saw someone prepare a toasted bagel like a pizza."
"That's true."
Apple Bloom sat at the table enjoying her bagel and orange juice. Kevin looked on. "I never thought PB and J looks so good on a bagel." He placed his hand on her shoulder. "I can learn for you, kid."
After cleaning up after herself, Apple Bloom went to the backyard to lounge in the hammock.
"I can't believe that September is almost here." Apple Bloom said to herself. "It feels like yesterday when I first came to this surprising area."
Flashback
It all started back in June, I was coming home from school with a good report card. Then, Applejack grabbed my card and told me to think of that Anon-a-Miss schtick. She voewd that I won't have plans for the summer. She sent me here to Jackbox Village, thinking my guardians are super strict. But, as I came to learn, they helped me throughout the summer.
End of Flashback
"And, they still help me out." Apple Bloom finished.
The charming farm girl soon fell asleep. Later, after her nap, she looked around the village. She looked at the building where she became part of Guesspionage and Patently Stupid. "I wonder if Tony and Lena were still impressed with my invention idea."
Arriving at a park, she sat on a bench and enjoyed the atmosphere. "Being in a wooded area like this reminds me of how I helped those Dodo Re Mi birds. I still can't believe I got upset when I visited the Wheel of Enormous Proportions. At least Applejack apologized for what happened. I'm happy I joined her and the other Rainbooms for Survive the Internet and Split the Room."
As she passed an internet cafe, she remembered how she and her fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders bested Garble and his boys in a game of Fixy Text. In the distance, Apple Bloom saw the Scrawleseum. She remembered how the Wonderbolts bested the Washouts in a game of Champ'd Up. "Whoa. I can still feel them ropes Rainbow Dash used to restrain me."
Apple Bloom left a burger place with a bag and a soda. She passes the Jackbox Theater where she remembers seeing Zephyr Breeze engaged in Hypnotorious. "I wonder if he still remembers his experience."
After finding a place to sit, she started to enjoy a bacon cheeseburger and fires. She looks out and sees a big ship. This reminds her of her trip aboard the Joke Boat. She soon was waved hello by Professor Nanners. "Howdy, Professor."
The intelligence chimp waved back. Apple Bloom soon remembered her experience with the trivia of You Don't Know Jack. This gives her an idea. After cleaning herself up after lunch, Apple Bloom looks around the old section. The quiet games she played there. She looks at the art studio where she took part in Drawful, and the mom and pop store where she played Word Spud.
"The great games I took part in." Apple Bloom said to herself. "Even the many games of Fibbage and Quiplash."
The next place she passes was the house of the Devil Family. She soon heard a male voice calling her. "Hello there, Apple Bloom."
She saw it was Devil Dad. Apple Bloom remembered how she and the Pie Family took care of the house while the Devils were on vacation. "Best thing I've ever done."
As Apple Bloom's walk continue, she got a shiver when she passed the haunted house. "Those nights I saw Trixie take part in Monster Seeking Monster. The power of the Witch helped her well."
Of all the memories the farm girl had of her summer, she'll never forget witnessing Sunset Shimmer and Wallflower Blush exposed aliens aboard a space station. Speaking of outer space, she recalled how she and her two friends of the CMCs watched the challenge in the Zeeple Dome.
"I still can't believe I helped out in the Bomb Corp." Apple Bloom said as she sits on a bench. "Dismantling those bombs was not easy. But, I did help Jade deliver her baby safely." She soon got nervous. "Scariest part were them Trivia Murder Party games. I'm still getting over being a plush doll."
Then, she simmered down. "Thank goodness for those trips to Tee Shirt Island. I even got them tee shirts I designed for souvenirs."
As Apple Bloom starts to walk home, she thinks of how her and her friends, including Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, took part in artistic challenges like Bidiots and Civic Doodle. And how she and Vinyl Scratch helped Octavia Melody in a robot rumble at Mad Verse City.
"That Vinyl Scratch has a good sense of being hip." Apple Bloom said to herself. "That's how she won Earwax."
She waved to Mrs. Krink, who was still grateful for her movie night idea. Apple Bloom still remembers her meeting the group from Maretime Bay, and watched them play Blather Round and Fakin' It. "Them's fun times for me."
Later, she returned home. As she laid down in her bed, she had one thought. "There are five more games I haven't experienced yet, by playing nor watching. Those games are Lie Swatter, Job Job, Roll Models, Brackettering, and Roomerang. I'll be ready though."
The adventurous farm girl relaxed before dinner is ready. But, she's right about one thing. Even though her summer is almost done, it's not over yet.
