The Human Redemption of Chrysalis

It's was a sunny day in Canterlot. Every pony and creature gathered to watch a trial beginning. The Evil Chrysalis was captured after months of wandering. She looks around, and got a little nervous. She sees the Mane Six, Spike, and the Royal Family from the Crystal Empire. This former Changeling Queen made them prisoners in her hive, under the current leadership of Thorax.

"Queen Chrysalis," Celestia began, "you have been brought here to decide a proper punishment. You and the Changelings captured us and ten others and made us all prisoners in your hive."

"Now, we are thinking about how to make you pay for that insidious act." Luna added.

"What can you do?" Chrysalis scoffed. "There's no place on Equestria and beyond that can hold me!"

"We'll see about that! Once we neutralize your special abilities, you won't hide from anypony!"

Chrysalis was starting to get nervous. She could end up in Tartarus with Tirek and Cozy Glow. But then, Twilight Sparkle speaks up. "Excuse me. I would like to speak."

The Royal Sisters looked at each other with confusion.

"What would you like to say, Twilight?" Celestia asked.

"I might have a way to give Chrysalis a chance to make up for her misdeeds."

"What is it you have in mind?"

"I would like to send Chrysalis through the mirror in my castle." Twilight suggested.

Everybody in Canterlot gasped when Twilight made the suggestion.

"Are you sure about this, Twilight?" Celestia wondered. "I'm not sure if the human world can handle somepony like Chrysalis."

"Being in the human world helped heal Sunset Shimmer. Maybe it can help this character."

"She does have a point, sister." Luna said. "Sunset did come back one time and you forgave her. Remember?"

Celestia realized that Luna and Twilight may have something.

"Very well, Twilight." Celestia replied. "Perhaps time in that dimension will heal her."

Me, enter that world behind the mirror? Chrysalis thought. My magic won't work there. This is punishment indeed.

Later, Twilight and her friends lead Chrysalis into the Crystal Castle. The changeling looks at this giant horseshoe shaped mirror with concern.

"Do you really think that this will help me with anything?" Chrysalis scoffed. "You are wasting your time."

"I think she's right." Fluttershy said with concern. "I'm afraid that this is one wound that'll never heal."

"We have to try." Twilight added. "Okay, Chrysalis. Into the mirror with you."

Twilight used her magic to turn on the mirror. Chrysalis slowly stepped inside, and vanished.

"Let's hope that's the last we'll see of that bug eyed creep!" Rainbow Dash said.

"I wonder what she'll look like when she arrives there." Starlight Glimmer added.

Later, at Canterlot High School. The horse statue soon glowed at the base. Out steps a lighted shape. After the glowing stopped, it revealed a black skinned woman with bluish green hair. She wore a lime green shirt, Dark green Capri style pants, and yellow platform shoes. The person looks at her appearance, and it shocked.

"This is what these human creatures look like?" The person gasped.

This stranger is indeed Chrysalis. She watched other people walk by the school, and figured that she should blend in. Chrysalis soon sees the school building, and is a little weary. After wandering in a forest, she sees herself in the pond.

"I don't look that bad." Chrysalis said to herself. "These clothes I'm wearing have an impressive fit."

She decides to look around her new surroundings. The former queen sees some of the people, and hopes to blend in. She feels like a normal looking woman. Then, she was spotted by what she thinks is a familiar sight.

"That looks like Princess Celestia." Chrysalis thought. "Must be her human counterpart."

Soon, Principal Celestia sees the human version of the Changeling and decided to try and be friendly.

"Hello, young lady." Celestia greeted. "My name is Celestia. I'm the principal of Canterlot High School. You must be new in town."

Chrysalis gets a little nervous. But, she soon calmed down. "Yes. My name is Chrys......Chrys Onyx."

"Well, welcome to Canterlot, Miss Onyx. Would you like me to show you around town?"

Not wanting to make a scene, Chrysalis took up on Celestia's offer. The principal of CHS showed the visitor around town. She shows her Sugarcube Corner. There Chrysalis saw seven girls she recognized.

Those must be the human versions of the Mane Six. Chrysalis thought. And, that girl with the red and yellow hair streaks must be Sunset Shimmer. The girl Princess Twilight told me about.

Celestia waved to the girls and they waved back. They soon saw the mysterious black skinned woman.

"Who's that with Principal Celestia?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Must be new in town." Pinkie Pie replied. "We should throw a 'Welcome to Canterlot' party for her."

"Hold it, Pinkie." Twilight interrupted. "Let's learn about this new girl first. We don't know who this girl is."

Sunset Shimmer looks at her with caution. Why does this new girl look familiar?

After touring the neighborhood, the two ladies stop at a beautiful house.

"You live here?" Chrysalis asked.

"That I do." Celestia answered. "Me and my sister, Luna, live here together."

Chrysalis reacted to that name, So, this world's Celestia has a sister named Luna too. This place is just like Equestria back home. But, my old home does not have these hi tech gadgets I've been seeing.

The two ladies go inside. Celestia hopes to make her guest feel at home. "Just sit and relax. I'll see if Luna is home."

As Celestia walks off, Chrysalis sits on the couch. She's actually feeling relaxed.

"This place feels as luxurious as Canterlot Castle." Chrysalis said to herself.

Soon, Celestia returns with her sister, Luna by her side. Luna looks at the black skinned woman.

"Hello there, miss Onyx." Luna greeted. "My name is Luna. It's nice to meet you."

"Hello." Chrysalis nervously replied. "Your sister was gracious in showing me around town. I'll bet you never saw anybody like me."

"You look very unique, I'll say that."

Soon, Celestia spoke up in a way that would make Chrysalis go into panic.

"I apologize for being suspicious." Celestia said. "But, we need to talk, Queen Chrysalis."
