Author's Note

Everybody is surprised how far Chrysalis has come. Even the princesses.

Surprising Results

Twilight and her friends were cleaning the castle when the mirror started to glow.

"Looks like the portal is activating." Rarity noticed.

"Hmm. I'll bet Sunset is paying a visit." Dash added.

But, to everypony's surprise, it was Chrysalis. But, her fur was white as snow, her mane is a lighter shade of blue. There are no holes anywhere on her body, and her wings were glittery silver.

"Oh my." Fluttershy gasped. "Is that you, Chrysalis?"

"It sure is, Fluttershy." Chrysalis answered. "I have been reborn!"

Twilight looked at the transformed changeling. "Wow! How did this happen?"

"I'm not sure." Chrysalis said. "I think it was after I visited Sunset Shimmer. I felt something happening, but didn't notice it."

Flashback

After I woke up earlier, the early rays of dawn revealed that my skin looked brighter. So, I went to the bathroom to shower up. That's when I noticed that my skin was white, and my hair was almost a sky blue.

When she noticed the change, she quickly got dressed and showed Celestia and Luna.

"My goodness, Chrysalis." Celestia gasped. "This is amazing."

"I know." Chrysalis chirped happily. "It's like a big weight is lifted off me."

"No doubt the magic of friendship finally sank in." Luna figured. "Traveling to this world was what you needed."

"I guess your right. I can't wait to show Princess Twilight. And, I think I know what to do now that I'm no longer dangerous."

End of Flashback

"That's great that the sisters are pleased with the results." Twilight said. "Let's head for Canterlot so you can show your new look."

"Not a bad idea." Chrysalis replied. "Won't the princesses be surprised to see me?"

Later, the Mane Six have arrived at Canterlot. The royal sisters saw the ponies arrival.

"It's nice of you to visit us." Celestia said.

"Thank you, princess Celestia." Twilight replied. "And, we have a surprise."

The princesses see what looks like their human friend Megan wearing her pink and blue outfit.

"Nice to see you again, Megan." Luna greeted. "What brings you to Equestria?"

"Princesses Celestia and Luna," Megan answered, "I have something to show you."

After raising her arms, Megan is surrounded by blue flames. The princesses were shocked to see the flames revealed the transformed Chrysalis. "SURPRISE!"

"Chrysalis?" Celestia gasped. "Is that you?"

"It sure is." Chrysalis answered. "My days as a tyrantical creature are over!"

"How can this be?" Luna wondered. "How did you obtain this form?"

"You can thank Twilight's human counterpart and her friends. They helped me learn about friendship. So did Sunset Shimmer."

"Sunset Shimmer." Celestia sighed. "It did me good when she and I got back together."

"We all do, sister." Luna added.

At that moment, Thorax came by, learning that Chrysalis is visiting Canterlot.

"Chrysalis, my queen." Thorax greeted.

"I'm no longer a queen, Thorax." Chrysalis giggled. "From what I hear, you're doing a better job leading the Changelings than I did."

"I guess I am. Besides, one of my Changelings, Ocellus, is representing us in the School of Friendship."

"Oh? Is she learning a lot in that school?"

"She is indeed. In fact, she found herself as part of a group called the Student Six."

"I have seen this group Thorax is talking about." Twilight interrupted. "They are a great group of friends."

This made Chrysalis smile. She now knows that there are two groups of friends maintaining friendship in Equestria. As the group headed back to the Crystal Castle, the Mane Six were wondering about something.

"Now that you have been forgiven, Chrysalis," Twilight said, "what will you do now?"

"Maybe she would like to join the Wonderbolts." Rainbow Dash said. "She might has some flying moves we never seen before."

"She can be a helper at the Canterlot Carousel." Rarity added.

"I know!" Pinkie shouted. "If I set up another party, she can take part."

"I can introduce her to Zecora." Fluttershy said. "Through Zecora's teachings, Chrysalis can learn new magic to use for the good of Equestria."

Chrysalis then spoke up. "I appreciate your suggestions, friends. But, I already made my decision."

"You did?" Twilight gasped.

"Yes. I figured to make my new home in the human world."

The group were surprised to hear Chrysalis say that she's heading back through the mirror.

"Really?" Rarity said. "What will you be doing there?"

"Well, glad you asked." Chrysalis replied. "While in that dimension, I was offered a job as a teacher in CHS."

"I reckon that stands for Canterlot High School." Applejack figured. "Twilight told us about that place."

"You got it, Cowpony. Besides, I was getting more respect there than here."

Twilight felt a little sad. One if Equestria's ruthless villains has changed her ways. But, she won't be staying.

"Don't be upset, Twilight." Chrysalis said. "I'll visit every once in a while. That way, you'll know how I'm doing."

"I guess that's true." Twilight replied. "I wish you luck."

Twilight and Chrysalis hugged each other. The changeling felt a lot of love from the Princess of Friendship. Weeks later, in Canterlot High School, Chrysalis is embracing her role as a teacher. Wearing a magenta jacket over a white shirt, blue skirt, and back platform shoes, she addresses the students.

"Remember, class." Chrysalis said, "we're taking a field trip to a honey farm next week. You'll see yourself how helpful bees can be to us humans, despite what you might think."

"I hope you're right, Miss Chrysalis." Rumble said. "When I see a bee, I'm afraid it might sting me."

"Don't worry, Rumble." Apple Bloom assured him. "If you don't bother the bees, they won't bother you."

"Well said, Apple Bloom." Chrysalis added. "But, I'll bring some calamine lotion just in case." The bell then rang. "Okay, students. Class dismissed."

The students left the classroom and off to the next period. Chrysalis felt a bit of satisfaction becoming a teacher. Later, it was lunchtime. And, the teachers were in the lounge. They were having their meals and discussing their day. Chrysalis was among them listening to their stories.

"Enjoying being a teacher, Miss Chrysalis?" Cranky Doidke asked.

"Yes, I am." Chrysalis answered. "Once you reach out to them, they'll show that they’re interested in what you’re teaching them."

"We can all learn something from you, my dear. Even Gladys Harshwhinny can take a few notes."

"Huh!" Harshwhinny grunted. "What can this newbie teach me?"

Ignoring the insult, Chrysalis continues to enjoy her time in the lounge.
