When a series of bad happenings appears in Equestria, Clockwork is sent to fix it; but as he and his parter, Lucktwist, begin to discover, Equestria is beyond saving.

Whilst traveling through all of time and space, Clockwork manages to choose out a particular melody from the chaos of life. This leads him and Octavia through a wonderful and bright future, but will it be able to last?
