Short story/ies regarding my perspective on certain things in Equestria.
Everypony knows the story of Sombra and the Crystal Empire. Everypony knows that before he was locked in an icy prison forevermore, he cursed the Empire, and it vanished. But after one thousand years, it returned. Nopony knows why or how, but it did.
Ever a pony of few words, nopony really knows what goes on inside this stallion's head as he goes about his daily buisness.
Dreamer Cloud, personal student to Princess Luna, has been given a mission. She, and a Guardian of her choice will travel through the Portal mirror, into the very world Twilight Sparkle visited thirty moons ago. Using her Dream Walking skills, she will learn of the internal minds of the creatures that reside there, and her chosen Guardian, her cousin Melody, will both protect Dreamer and study the external minds of the creatures - how they present themselves and behave in public and so on.
But upon arriving in this strange world, the two discover that the human representations of the ponies they know and love, are much more romantically active - their counterparts included. The two of them are forced to navigate an almost untouched stretch of water in order to avoid being found out by those who place romantic advances on them, and those who have romantic advances placed on by the two visitors.
What could go wrong?
Everything up to and including Equestria Girls is canon in this story.
