After a tragic divorce of his parents, Axl moves to Canterlot with his Dad, where they hope they make a new life and forget the past. Even though Axl doesn't agree with the idea, there's no choice for him to leave Ponyville and study in Canterlot High School for the next years coming. It takes time to adapt to a new place, but in the end, we all do.
