Twilight, busy adjusting to her new castle, loses touch with her friends. But, when she gets a call that one of her friends is dying of cancer, her world turns upside down. And through it all, Twi wonders why life is worth living if it only hurts.

Scootaloo is still having a hard time accepting that she probably won't be able to fly, and her nightmares of falling keep getting worse. But at the time of her life when she needs her friends most, her friends seem to by drifting away from her.
