After the apocolypse started and the whole pony world had finally fallen to the dirt, Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the Mane 6 are separated among Equestria. As they were separated, everything had changed, and even their cutie marks.

Except for Twilight.

Now Twilight and a new pony with a badass personality and a broken wing, are on a journey to find Twilight's friends, help them keep their humanity, and possibly find a safe place, before the whole pony world is overtaken by the trotters (walkers)
