Alpha; meaning "the beginning"
The beginning of what exactly? A new day? A new life? A new era?
In historybooks, a single individual bore the name "Alpha," He was known as "The king of war," due to taking part of every single kind of combat and warfare. Political battles, Proxy battles, Ground war, Air combat, you name it, he's fought it.
He was also known as the individual who united the Minotaurs, Griffons, Diamond Dogs and Ponies together.
By going against all of them.
Before he came the land of Equestria, there was a war between the four kingdoms, a war that had lasted of decades. The rulers of their kingdoms, too proud to back down and declare peace continued the war for generations, each death of their soldiers and knights giving more fuel to the ever growing fire of war.
Alpha, a single individual, who brought them individually down on their knees, and fell before their combined blades. Ages have passed and He has become nothing more than a legend, a boogie man told by foals' parents to make them behave.
Before all that, he was part of a project to help humanity defeat an alien threat, project "DEAD A.I."
