During a full-out war between the Dark Eldar Kabal of the Silenced Thoughts and a Chaos warband, both forces are left stranded on an alien planet. A member of the warband, a lowly cultist, struggles to balance his past, his psyker abilities, and saving the planet's occupants from the Dark Eldar.

After discovering a powerful spell which could summon anything from any distance among the Canterlot royal archives, Twilight tries to test it. Unfortunately she summons the wrong individual. From that day on-wards Equestria will never be the same.
