In the long shadows of remembrance, there is a city.

Seven ponies board a train departing from Canterlot: three guards, a young couple, and a thief. Things would've been much simpler if the previous statement contained an error. It doesn't.

Sometimes, reality is best understood through fiction; other times, the two are harder to distinguish between. Family is often such a complicated matter.

Some say the world is black and white, others shades of grey. The truth is, as always, somewhere in-between. In which a precocious filly contemplates context.
