In this universe Chrysalis has triumphed and her hordes now rule Canterlot. With Celestia captured it’s up to Cadence and Luna to rally the ponies of Equestria to take back Canterlot.

Shining Armor and the Royal Guard are forced to break up a party hosted by Discord due to noise complaints. Upon arriving to the party Shining Armor is soon drawn into a philsophical discussion with Discord about the Royal Guard and its purpose.

In this alternate universe Tirek has triumphed and its up to Discord to rally the ponies of Equestria to fight a desperate war against tyranny.
