A fanmade reboot of Friendship is Magic with Spike as the main character. Be warned, as it can get quite dark every now and then.

Basically my own little take on A Canterlot Wedding with Twilight taking the abandonment to the extreme. It'll have a few more chapters than one, but I think you'll enjoy the ride.
