After the fall of Equestria, a lone alicorn wakes up amidst the dead. Only having broken fragments of memories that she isn't even sure is hers, she wanders the land that was once a beacon of friendship to find her purpose.

A thousand years ago, Equestria was enjoying little of the peace it had now. To counter this, both Princesses Celestia and Luna, had their own Royal Guards. This is the story of one particular Royal Guard who served under Princess Luna, Morning Star.
