After a long day at work, Adam Nguyen, a human who lives in Ponyville, is surprised to find his marefriend Roseluck waiting for him with a pleasant surprise in mind.

When a letter arrives offering a chance of a lifetime, Roseluck travels to Canterlot, leaving Adam with Minuette alone to keep him company. Minuette, however, couldn't be happier.

With Adam's birthday on the horizon, Roseluck tries to find the perfect birthday gift - only to find that she is not the only mare in Ponyville who covets the human.
