During an experimental attempt at digitalising a copy of her brain, Twilight accidentally created a malevolent AI bent on mind-controlling her and her friends into obeying her every command. She reacted with surprising positivity to the whole ordeal.

Death wasn't part of Twilight's plans for the weekend. Twilight was part of Death's plans for the weekend. Neither had foreseen someone else arranging a compromise.

Twilight's plans for the day were simple. Run experiments on poison joke in the afternoon, have Rainbow Dash for dinner in the evening. The universe, unfortunately, had other plans for her. And a cruel sense of humour, given which day it had chosen.

It's been many years since Twilight moved away from Ponyville, and quite a while since the last time she came back to visit. She feels it's time for her to pay a visit to her old town, to see how things have changed during her absence.

According to Shining, Sunburst has been acting weird lately, and he doesn't seem to want to talk about it. When one morning he disappears, Twilight decides it's time to check on him and figure out what the problem is. The answer is rather unexpected.

Having discovered the true nature of Apple Bloom's origins, Luna decided it was necessary to take action in order to prevent the potential consequences. Things did not go too well from there.

He woke up in a hospital bed, no idea of why or how he got there, no memory of his past or of who he was, only bits and pieces of knowledge about the world around him. Things did not get better for him after that. Not in the least.

Having received a message from the unicorn asking to see her, Twilight goes to Rarity's house to see why. It turns out the mare has been drinking too much again. Twilight is rather unamused by the event, and by its consequences.
