The renewed life of Lucky Break
The Beginning
'Darkness.
That's all i saw...
Simple pure darkness.
Did i ever think i would see this?
No...I did not...But then again, life has a way to give you quite the shock.
While i thought I’d die as a hero...I died as a villain.
I can only hope they will forgive me, for it was not my wish to cause such harm upon them...But i will always carry this sorrow in my heart.
For the lives i have taken cannot be restored.
May they find peace in the afterlife.

??? (Realm of death/darkness)
The black-coated male unicorn opened his eyes, staring deep into the black abyss...No sounds...Not even a single shred of light.
"Is this Tartarus?" He asked into the darkness, yet met no response.

Near a town
Somewhere, a pony was looking up to the night sky.
This pony was a Pegasus, with a pink coat and wings.
Now, some would expect this Pegasus to be female. The catch? He was a male.
Needless to say, it didn’t really matter. Though it did cause some rather…Awkward situations at times.
"Will I ever find someone to trust? I wonder…Am I even supposed to find someone?" He asked into thin air.
A star twinkled, before another star seemed to fall…A falling star.
The Pegasus’ eyes opened wide as he took in the sight, enraptured. Before he snapped out of it and closed his eyes.
'Certainly worth a try…'
He took in a deep breath as he focused his thoughts.
"Oh star of the night, please grant me my desire…I desire for someone whom may finally be able to understand me and treat me as an equal as i stand by his or her side."
"Your wish is heard, my little pony." A feminine voice whispered into the Pegasus’ thoughts, though he discarded it as a simple stray piece of hope.
The star which had not fallen appeared to grow brighter, as a silvery aura surrounded it, before it disappeared…Swallowed up by the darkness.

??? (Realm of death/darkness?)
The darkness continued to surround the black-coated stallion, until a light seemed to slowly shine through.
The stallion once more opened his eyes, though tiredly.
This light…What’s happening?
“It shall be your way out, lest you decide to simply give in to your misery. Though be warned, you shall be going on a path of redemption, fail…And you shall find yourself to be in much greater agony as you did when you were alive.” The voice purred, though this…This one was a combination of being sinister and seductive to a point, clearly feminine from the sound of it.
A few memories managed to break through to the stallions mind…None of them the good sort. One of them even detailing how he was betrayed by a similar setting, though more alive and in a rather…Interesting situation.

The flashback
“Come now, hon. It will be fine.” A feminine voice purred, the black-coated stallion turned his head to look towards the voice.
There stood an orange coated unicorn, wearing a dress alongside with a rather fancy looking hat. She also seemed to have a smirk.
“The first time you said that, I was nearly thrown into the dungeons, Shade!” he responded to the mare now known as ‘Loving Shade’.
She sighed and lowered her head, before raising once more and looking towards her surroundings, they were in a rather shady alley…Shadows seeming to cover most of the area, light barely able to shine through from the sun.
“ Lucky 'B'.”, she began. “Don’t worry so much, remember that night we had?” She winked as she mentioned this, a smirk visible.
The black-coated stallion would’ve been clearly blushing, had the situation not been so stressing. “That’s beside the point! You know just as well as I do that if I do this, I will surely be hunted. What about my brother, Shade?!” He roared out in frustration…Loving Shade was one mare he wished at that moment, he never had to deal with ever again.
The mare giggled at the stallion’s anger, her eyes growing half-lidded as she neared Lucky's, placing a hoof against his forehoof, staring deep into his eyes as her horn took on a faint pink hue. “Sheesh, Luck..No need to get all fiery with me…Or did you have something in mind, hm?” She was rewarded for this by a smack against her muzzle, she stumbled backwards as she winced due to the pain, before adopting an angered gaze.
“You think this is a game, Shade? You think that toying with lives is fun?! Because of you i was forced to abandon those closest to me…And guess what. When you told me that I wouldn’t regret it? You were wrong…I think I made one of the biggest mistakes known to ponykind, all because of you!” He growled out, gritting his teeth as he forces himself to keep his anger in check, though clearly failing due to the earlier outbursts
She appeared to become wide-eyed as she grit her teeth, due to both the mental pain and the rising anger she felt coming along. “How dare you! I protected you while we were together and this is how you repay me?” Her horn now adopted a more darker glow, black to be more exact. “I am going to make you eat those words!” she yelled out, before firing a beam of black magic towards Blade, it completely blasting into him without any protection. Cracks being heard throughout the alley, seeming to come both from a wall he crashed into and Blade’s body.
As the beam ends, Lucky drops to the ground, coughing up some blood as his horn took on a faint silvery glow, wincing greatly due to the stress and the damage already done to him, it not being much longer until he falls. With the last of his strength, he allowed the silvery glow to move from his horn into the air, seemingly forming a blade before sending it straight for Loving Shade.
Loving Shade however, grinned with malicious intention as her horn took on a purple hue. “Not going to happen~” She sung, as a purple barrier surrounded her, the blade colliding with it, before disappearing into thin air. She trotted over to Lucky Break as she ran a hoof along his side, sending chills down Lucky’s spine.
“I guess I know why you’re known as 'Wicked now' to some…And why you have that mark.” He said, with clear disgust, blaming himself for not seeing this sooner, and being so foolish believing her all this time.
“And I have clearly seen why you’re known as Lucky…” She said, with that same grin.
He grunted, in pain as he tried to stand up, only to be knocked down again as Wicked swung a hoof under his, having him fall back straight unto his face.
Shade rolled her eyes at Lucky’s state, almost uncaringly…Though in those eyes, she pitied him and…Felt some pain, she was not as monstrous as some believed her to be. “I will at least not waste my time too much anymore, after all, you have somepony to meet.” She said, gaining her vicious smirk once more as her horn gained a silvery hue, the sword which Blade had used appearing in her magical grasp.
Lucky growled, moving a hoof to the side as he tried to drag himself across the ground, before gaining a sword right in his right hindleg. He screamed in pain as this was done, the blade appearing to burn it as well.
Her horn once more took on a black hue, as her lips appear to gain the same color. “Oh and, those were not the only reasons why I was known as ‘Wicked’ to some…There is a much more different name for me…But I will not honor you with it, though stay still would you?” She laughed for what felt like hours and hours for Blade, before finally leaning in close to Lucky, kissing him.
His eyes widened as she did so, his body becoming rigid as he felt his limbs grow more and more numb as time progressed…She was draining his life right from him!
'What is she?!'
He thought he knew her…Oh how wrong Lucky was and how the poor sod barely knew anything about her. Like a moth to a flame, he was drawn to her…By the promise of love.
After a few more seconds past, his eyes finally started to grow heavy as he closed them, starting to choke on his own breath. His eyes becoming more misty as he slowly feels his consciousness fading from him, alongside with his growing sadness and anger.
No…
Slowly, his eyes closed and his life vanished from him.

Present for Lucky Break. (Realm of death/darkness?)
He finally snapped out of the flashback, though while he was out, a figure of darkness had appeared, mare in form while appearing to only have a horn.
“…What’s the catch?”
He finally asked towards the figure, narrowing his eyes slightly, remembering full well his own past, and hopefully not wishing to repeat the same mistakes.
“Glad that you asked…You will be set on a course of fate, not only that…You will have to lay your very past behind you. Alongside with the fact you shall be transported into a more…Fitting body and you will have me accompanying you, in quite the manner might I add.” She stated and smirked…Or at least it seemed like she did. Before holding out a hoof towards Blade.
He looked at the hoof, on one hoof…If he didn’t accept it, he’d finally be able to go to rest…And have a peaceful slumber, but on the other hoof, he’d be able to go back and perhaps change himself for the better. Closing his eyes for a few moments, he’d open them again, before looking back towards the figure. “I…will accept this bargain.”
The figure let out a victorious laugh, before her horn took on a black hue…His eyes widened as fear was clearly visible, though she gently shushed him afterwards, pulling him close into an embrace. For once….The voice would appear more normal, gentle…Comforting. “Everything will be alright.”
Confused by this sudden change, but unable to throw off the effect it does have on him, he slowly closed his eyes as he allowed the darkness of the mare to engulf him, before disappearing from the realm he was in.

Location: Unknown (Equestria)
Lucky finally appeared to wake, groaning as he winced, finally opening his eyes as he slowly stood up, looking around him he’d notice he was in an open field…It would seem peaceful at first sight, hadn’t it been night time. Moonlight shined across the field, a shard of a mirror lying on the ground in front of him, he looked towards it as he recalled what the figure said…
As he looked, he finally understood what she said, his coat, his horn and even his mane shifted from color! His coat now being an almost brilliant white, alongside with his horn. His mane black with a bit of dark grey added to it. His eyes having a dark red color to them.
He looked to his own body afterwards, though seeing no other changes, he sighed…In relief and frustration.
‘At least the color is all that has changed, hopefully my magic is still the same…Though judging from what I am feeling…I won’t be able to use magic for a while, two days at least…And even if it does come back I won’t be able to use it at full strength for two weeks at least. This is going to be a loooong two weeks.’
‘You don’t say, young stallion.’ A –very- familiar voice purred, Lucky jumped into the air as he turned back, to look around him…But seeing nothing out of the ordinary, he felt his own heart beat swiftly afterwards, placing a hoof to his chest as he pants a little.
‘Must have been my imagination.’ He thought, yet…It was swiftly thrown out of the window as the same voice spoke again.
‘My, oh my…Not wishing to believe that a little voice found its way into your head?’ She spoke again, though this time he could clearly sense satisfaction from the voice, and that…Only scared him more.
‘Why can I hear you?!’ He asked in quite the demanding tone, though it was simply rewarded by laughter. After it calmed however…
‘I did say I was going to accompany you, besides…It gets old being there for two, three thousand years? I can never tell. Anyway, you were my ticket, and I took it. Be glad I still gave you a choice, the others weren’t so fortunate.’ She said, in a menacing tone.
He paled as she said this, before lowering his head and placing a hoof to his muzzle.
'What did I get myself into?'
