"Hey, look girls! Monkeys with shaved hair!' said one voice excitedly "Are they dead?" said another voice who sounded concerned "Poke 'em with a stick." said yet another voice "Hey, cut it out. That hurts!" whined Goten Trunks just woke up, and he was already curious about his surroundings. "They can talk?! Wait til Rarity sees this!" said Sweetie Belle "Okay, wait a sec. I've got a few questions. First, how can you talk? Second, where am I? Third, when can I go home?" Trunks asked "Ooh! Ooh! I know! I know!" yipped Apple Bloom "You're in Equestria. All of us can talk, and I have no idea!" she said "Wait, so are you horsies?" asked Goten curiously "Fillies." corrected Scootaloo "... Can I ride you?" he asked, Trunks facepalmed. "We gotta go, um wash my car. Bye." said Trunks, making up excuses. Then they both flew off as quickly as possible. "Hey Scootaloo." said Sweetie Belle "What?" she asked "They don't have wings, but they can fly better than you." replied Sweetie Belle mockingly "Oh, shut up!" said Scootaloo (5 minutes later, Everfree forest) "Okay, Goten we gotta think of a plan to get out of here. We just gotta concentrate." said Trunks, already deep in thought "Maybe we should try fusing again, and see if we could yell really loud again!" suggested Goten "How do you know it would send us back to Earth?" asked Trunks "Well, um I kinda figured... Well, let's here your idea, smarty-pants!" said Goten defensively "Whatever, we gotta think of something! Anything!" said Trunks Meanwhile, Scootaloo was riding a scooter, tugging Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle along in a wagon at a very fast pace. "The aliens went to Everfree forest! Don't stop now!" said Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom was making siren noises along the way Scootaloo was in her own world, she pictured she was outrunning a boulder like Daring Do, and she pushed on with sheer determination. "SPACE POLICE, COMIN' THROUGH, ALIENS BEWARE!" yelled Apple Bloom (Everfree forest, same time) "Goten! Did you hear that?! It's the space police! We're going to space jail!" said Trunks unhappily "But-but! I don't wanna go to space jail! WAAAAHHH!" cried Goten "Fine, then we'll be space criminals!" said Trunks rashly Suddenly a voice cried "THIS IS THE SPACE POLICE, SURRENDER OR BE TICKLED." said the voice, whose face was hidden by the bushes "Hey, did you hear what I said about me being a space criminal? That was a joke! Good one right?" said Trunks nervously "Put your hooves on the ground!" the voice cried Finally, the speaker came into view, and it turned out to be the Cutie Mark Crusaders, up to their usual antics. "Trunks, where's the space police?! All I see are three ponies!" said Goten cautiously Trunks couldn't answer because he was too busy laughing at the supposed "threat" he was faced with. "Are you guys for real? Space police?! What a joke! Ha ha ha ha!" he said obnoxiously "You wanna start something?" said Scootaloo "Alright, let's go, you and me!" said Trunks "Wait! We don't have to do this!" said Goten "He's right, we have to talk things over like proper mares!." said Sweetie Belle "Hey wait, I have to ask the purple-haired alien a question!" said Apple Bloom "What is it? You're wasting our time!" said Trunks "Are you dead?" asked Apple Bloom "No-" said Trunks, but Apple Bloom said it at the same time "Jynx! You owe us a solid!" said Apple Bloom "Why should we? You're not the boss!" said Trunks defiantly "Trunks! You can't back out of a solid, you'll make us look like weenies!" said Goten irritated Trunks groaned, "Alright, what do you want?" "Girls, should we tell him?" asked Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo nodded in agreement "Do you believe in wishing magic?" she asked "Yeah! Where we come from we have Shenron and the dragon balls and-" said Goten, who was cut off by Apple Bloom "Okay, good. Here in Ponyville, there's an ancient legend of the "Mare's might", it's a statue that grants three wishes to those who can find it, now it's in some underground temple." she explained "But that's not all." said Scootaloo "In order to even find that temple, you have find these gemstones, or something like that." said Scootaloo "How can you be so sure this is real? It sounds like a fairy tale to me." said Trunks smugly "But Truuuuuks, it's magic!" said Goten, "Besides," he whispered "We need that wish don't we? To get back home, remember!" "Alright, we're in. We could just fly there. It's not a big deal." said Trunks "But if we do that, we'll lose our direction, so your idea is STUPID!" countered Sweetie Belle, Trunks stuck out his tongue in return. Before long, the cutie mark crusaders +Trunks and Goten had packed their supplies, but the sun had already set by then, so they decided to camp out for the night. "So, new crusaders, we never figured out your name, tell us or we're never gonna help you get home!" said Apple Bloom "I'm Trunks, and that's Goten, let me guess, your names are: Sugar, Spice, and Everything nice." "No! Our names aren't like that!" said Scootaloo "Oh yeah? What are they then?" taunted Trunks "Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo" said Scootaloo, slightly embarassed Shortly, after they exchanged their life stories, their struggles, the fun times, the hard times, and the in-betweens. -To Be Continued-----------------------------------

Goten and Trunks woke up first, and they decided to use that time to train... loudly. "Kaaaaaa.... Meeeeeeeee..... Haaaaaaaaa.... MEEEEEEEEE...... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Goten was practicing the turtle school signature technique, aiming it towards the mountains. Trunks was just as busy, seeing how long he could maintain his super saiyan form. It was inevitable that all of this was going to cause a ruckus, so naturally the CMC woke up. "What are you two doing, it's 7:00 AM! Wait, what ARE you doing?" questioned Scootaloo "Didn't you hear us when we explained who we were? Jeez, and people call me irresponsible.." said Goten "I fell asleep about halfway through." said Sweetie Belle modestly "Whatever, now that we're all awake, we should get a move on." said Trunks The first destination on the map was the Grim cemetery, which is supposedly haunted. Suffice to say, nobody/nopony was really overjoyed about that fact. "So, do your sisters know about this, I mean, this is probably gonna be more than a couple days." said Trunks "Don't YOUR parents know you're here?" countered Scootaloo, Trunks didn't respond. The scenery around them was oddly normal, just tranquil grassy plains, unlike the whimsical world around them. Storm clouds gathered ominously over the horizon. Eventually, they reached a single tombstone, it was marked with an inscription "Dedicated to our dearest Ruby, if only you knew." "Some cemetery, am I right guys?" Trunks was only met with dirty looks, even from Goten. "What? It's only a tombstone, it's not like it has feelings." Trunks kicked the tombstone, and he was met with unexpected results. The tombstone moved back as if it were alive, and a stairway going downwards opened. "Let's go! Adventure awaits down in the dark, creepy stairway!" said Apple Bloom optimistically At a young age, we all have irrational fears. Be it the dark, or the monsters that lurk and stalk at the dead of night, the wish crusaders were wary of their surroundings, afraid some demonic spirit may spook them or worse. Eventually, they had reached a long, eerie corridor, illuminated by blue flames that seemed to ignite when they got close. "Trunks, are we almost there?" asked Goten "Almost where?" he asked "To the end! I'm scared!" said Goten "Thank you captain obvious! For describing what we all feel!" said Sweetie Belle sarcastically "Enough already! Look we've already reached the end of the hallway." said Apple Bloom, taking charge "Well that's good! I think we might actually make it out of here!" said Goten, just as he turned around, none of his companions were there. "Guys? Where are you?" he asked, there was no response At the other end of the hallway, Goten heard a large "SLAM" behind him, and the only source of light was coming from the blue flames stalking him the whole way through. With no source of air, Goten was going to run out of oxygen if he didn't act quickly. Suddenly, a well-dressed blue figure materialized from thin air, with a taunting grin on his face. "Hey, who are you?" asked Goten fiercely "Oh, allow me to introduce myself, I am the mischievous spirit. I bet you're wondering about the whereabouts of your friends. Well, for now, they're gone. Unless you pass my test, that is." he said "What's the test? I have umm..." Goten counted on his fingers "this many minutes left before I die!" "The test is to catch me if you can, sucker!" he jeered, and he floated as fast as he could For Goten, this was any easy task. Saiyans, naturally, are faster than any human or pony, and he could certainly outrun-er, outfly the blue spirit that was keeping Trunks and his new "friends" Within a matter of seconds, Goten caught up with the ghost. "Tag!" Goten reached in, but his hand went straight through him. "Ah-ah-ah!" the spirit wagged his finger "That didn't count. You have to actually touch me to tag me, you dimwit." said the Blue spirit mockingly Try as he might, Goten could not find a loophole in the blue ghost's game. "You big, fat, stupid, ugly, MEAAANIEEEEEEEEEE!" Goten shrieked "That's right kid! Ragequit, and amuse me!" said the mischievous spirit "I'm gonna laugh at your failure! HA HA HA! HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" he continued laughing and chuckling and snickering to no end. "Ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha h-" the blue spirit was interrupted by a sneeze that came from across the room. Then Goten saw it, in the corner, there was an area cut off by a curtain, like a changing room. "Ignore that, it's nothing! Trust me!" said the spirit, losing his composure Goten kept silent to preserve oxygen, but he was still flying towards that corner. "No, leave it alone! STOP!" he commanded Finally, Goten unveiled the secret behind the spirit's trickery. Behind the curtain, there was a scrawny-looking scientist pony who looked in his 20's, with dark circles under his eyes. There was a keyboard and a voice modifier at his disposal, as well as an air tube. "Okay, you found me out. But why should I take orders from you? You're just some weird alien kid!" he said Running out of air, Goten turned super saiyan to show he wasn't in the mood for games. "Eeep! Okay, okay, I'll let your friends go, and I'll open up the doors!" he said, and at the push of the button, Trunks, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle fell down from a hidden trapdoor on the ceiling. Almost instantly, five exhausted breaths filled the long hallway. After everybody had caught their breath, Apple Bloom went to speak with the scientist pony, while Trunks had to restrict the Goten we all know and love from pulverizing the scientist pony. "Do you know anything about any gemstones, mister?" she asked politely "Gemstones? What Gemstones, I don't know anything about any wish-granting gemstones!" the scientist pony lied "That's okay mister, we can just have you talk to our friend over there if you don't know anything." said Apple Bloom, gesturing towards the angry, super saiyan Goten. "Alright! Alright! I have the gemstone! Take it and get outta here!" said the scientist pony, he then reached behind his comfortable chair littered with potato chips to grab the first gemstone. "Thanks mister!" said Apple Bloom, who walked away triumphantly with the first gemstone in her hoof. ---------To be continued--------------------------------------

"Hey guys, I'm starving, what about you?" asked Trunks, there was a rumble of bellies as a response "Twinkletoes is right. We need energy!" said Scootaloo Everyone dumped out their supplies to look for a lunch bag. Inside each supply bag was a somewhat large bag of candy. Trunks was going to say something but then he decided he was okay with candy. Goten was particularly excited because Chi-Chi only had fruits and vegetables for snacks, that and she was scared to see a saiyan on a sugar hype. "Where did you get all this?" Goten asked, with his mouth stuffed "I know people." responded Apple Bloom, who had gotten it from Pinkie Pie. After eating a whole bag of candy, it might be good to record that if you get five young ones on a sugar rush, the results will not be pretty. "Alright, girls and freaky aliens. We're on a mission for wishes, next we have to go to the jungle!" Apple Bloom giggled for no apparent reason, and they ran in zig-zags, loops, and anything but a straight line. "I don't get it, there's no jungle!" Apple Bloom was indeed looking at the map upside down, and they actually hadn't moved much farther from their original spot. "You're reading it wrong, gimme that!" said Trunks, grabbing the map, then Scootaloo secured it by ramming into Trunks, Sweetie Belle used magic to levitate it to her, before getting tickled by Goten, who grabbed the map in midair. "Nah-nah na boo boo!" teased Goten, who was floating up above with the map in his hand. But as we all know, all sugar rushes must come to a screeching halt at one point, and that point was when all five wish crusaders had fallen asleep at almost the same time after having the sugar hype of the century. To describe what happens next, is almost painful to type. The vast land of Equestria is very whimsical, but whimsical doesn't always translate into "absolutely safe" in most situations, because in reality, there are very few places that can promise you that there will be no kind of danger ever. Now think about our main characters' situation right now: unattended, lost, unconscious, and next to a jungle, not much good can come of this. "Ugh, what's going on? Why am I upside down? What the- I can't move!" said Trunks, the rest of the wish crusaders were awoken by this, and they were similarly confused. "Shut up, kid! You're a miner now!" said an armored creature, who looked vaguely like a dog, but with a muscular human body. As Trunks looked around, with what little space he had, there was an entire army of the armored creatures, surrounding them. Trunks understood what was going on now, after falling asleep, he and the rest of the wish crusaders were left out in the open, the creatures took advantage of this, and kidnapped them and took them to the wild jungle. The cutie mark crusaders were tied up with ropes, and he and Goten were tied with steel chains, and they were all dangling over a tree. "Now that the maggots are awake, we can put them to work in the underground mines. Grunt number 76! Untie them!" commanded one of the higher-ranking creatures. The wish crusaders' current situation offered hope, but only a little. They were untied, but they were still surrounded by almost an entire army of armored thugs. Then, after scanning the area around her carefully, Sweetie Belle's eyes got misty, lips blubbering, and started crying. "What are you doing? You're gonna get us killed!" snapped Scootaloo "Just follow my lead, I've heard about these guys." said Sweetie Belle, the rest of the wish crusaders agreed, but only because they didn't have any other options. Reluctantly, the wish crusaders began to bawl, cry, and whine. The plan was working so far, the hundreds of armed creatures surrounding them cringed and moaned. However, the success wouldn't last for long, so Trunks enacted the second part of the plan. Trunks innocently walked up to one of the diamond dogs and asked politely: "Mister, can I tell you something?" "What, is it, maggot?" snarled the grunt "Buster cannon!" the ten-year old saiyan then clasped his hands together to form a ball of ki, what followed was similar to a game of bowling. The ki was the ball, and an unlucky row of thugs were the pins, and it cleared a path for escape. "Go! Go! Go!" said Trunks, who started running in the cleared path, Goten and the CMC followed. "After them! I don't care if they're dead or alive!" bellowed a high-ranking commander The jungle's thick plants were only a nuisance for the wish crusaders in the heat of a chase, panic filled the air. "Crap! We've hit a dead end!" said Trunks, pointing towards the rapidly rushing river in front of them. "Maybe with magic, I can split the river so we could walk through!" said Sweetie Belle, and as soon as she said that, her horn glowed of a supernatural purple aura, and a narrow solid path revealed itself through the middle of the river. Hesitantly, the wish crusaders walked through. Sweetie Belle's nose twitched, and then she held her breath, looking like she was desperately trying to hold something in. "Sweetie Belle, you look like you're gonna throw up, what is it?" asked Apple Bloom "It's nothing just- ah-ah ACHOO!" Then, there were four simultaneous cries "NO!", Sweetie Belle had lost control of her magic and the rapids came rushing in. They had a very small chance of survival. They had lost consciousness from shock. Trunks woke up in an unfamiliar place once again. Thankfully, he wasn't dead or kidnapped. He saw a pony with golden yellow fur with black hair smirking down at him. "Hey kid, you awake?" asked the pony "I'm not dead? But how?" asked Trunks, looking at his surroundings frantically for an answer "I saved your flank, and your friends. What were you thinking? Fillies really shouldn't be caught up in this stuff." said the pony "Hey, it's none of your business!" scoffed Trunks "Well it is now. Wait a sec, empty your pockets, kid!" Trunks pulled a shriveled, but still readable map of the directions of the mare's might "How did you get a hold of this?" questioned the Pony "Don't ask me. She got it." Trunks pointed towards the still unconscious Apple Bloom While waiting for the rest of the Wish Crusaders to wake up, Trunks explained his whole story of how he got in Equestria and how he ended up looking for the Mare's might in the first place. Despite the oddness of it all, the pony was completely unfazed. "Oh, I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Daring Do, treasure hunter. Pleased to be your acquaintance, Trunks." said the pony Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Goten woke up. The cutie mark crusaders were particularly excited, seeing one of their role models in person was a big deal to them. Goten watched in utter confusion. "Ahem, girls. About the mare's might, why not make a game out of it?" said Daring Do "Cool! We get to work to work with Daring Do!" said Scootaloo "Umm, No. I was thinking we have a bit of a race. Whoever gets all the gemstones first wins gets the wishes! At the end of the game, whichever team gets more gemstones, that team gets the wishes." said Daring Do All five wish crusaders nodded in agreement, and Daring Do galloped off. "Wait!" cried Apple Bloom "What is it?" "I always thought you were a filly tale. Are you.. the real one?" She tipped her hat and smiled "I'm the real deal, kid." and she continued on her way.

"Don't you get it? If we don't find those gemstones before whoever that was, we're stuck here!" said Trunks, irritated "Yeah! I miss my mom, my dad, Gohan, candy, and a whole bunch of other things!" whined Goten "C'mon guys, we're competing with Daring Do, of all ponies, doesn't that make this trip worthwhile?" said Apple Bloom, this triggered a simultaneous "No!" from Goten and Trunks. Before this conflicted conversation could continue, a bolt of lightning struck the ground next to them. The wish crusaders looked up, the sky was clear, no storm clouds in sight. "Why hello there!" said a voice, he caught the wish crusaders by surprise, he materialized out of thin air. What had appeared in front of them was a Draconequus. He had black fur, and he was covered in scars. He had the face of a goat, with a horn covered in something that looked vaguely like blood. He also had crooked wings, and eyes that were dark as night, only illuminated by his yellow pupils. After taking a long minute to stare at it, Sweetie Belle broke the silence. "... Are you... Discord?" she asked hesitantly "Discord? HA! That guy's a poser. I'm Chaos, a rising star of sorts, and you must be the wish crusaders." he said "How did you-" said Scootaloo before being cut off by Chaos "How did I know?" A smirk grew on his face "I know everything." "Why are you here? And do you know anything about-" began Trunks "Gemstones? Yeah, I've got one, if you pass my trial, and as for why I'm here, ponies just don't appreciate my special talent. About that trial..." With the snap of his fingers, or perhaps claws, a large castle rose from the ground inexplicably. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a knockoff of Castle Canterlot, except it looked as if someone had taken a wrecking ball to it. "I've been sealed here for years. Rather tragic, isn't it? It's an exact replica of the blasted Princess's castle, it's so large and grand, but so empty to remind me of how alone I am. Don't ask why." "Okay, I'm touched by your tragic backstory, but we have places to be. Can't you just give us the gemstone?" said Trunks Chaos muttered to himself about today's youth, and warped the wish crusaders to a hedge maze. "This is easy! We could just-" said Goten "Fly? It's more simple than that, moron. You're not the first one to come here, you know. I've seen tons of pegasi waltz in here thinking that they can take the easy way out, So before you think about flying, I would look above." said Chaos, above there was a large group of storm clouds. "Oh and one more thing before you walk in there like an idiot, the two paths are uneven, one only has room for two to walk through, and the other path is narrow enough for three. The Wish crusaders stared at eachother, wondering who should go with who. "Fine. If you won't decide I will!" said Chaos, and with that, he sprouted multiple arms, and threw Scootaloo and Trunks in one path, and Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Goten in the other, and the hedge maze closed it's entrances. "Owch, what the heck! What a jerk!" moaned Trunks, Scootaloo's reaction wasn't much different. They then decided to just go with Chaos's odd game and roam the hedge maze, looking for a solution. "Can I ask you something? Are you like superheroes where you come from?" asked Scootaloo "Kind of, me and Goten are good guys. But we're not the strongest, I could probably name a whole list of people stronger than me. Like this one guy, Broccoli, or something, he was crazy, he just kept shouting "Kakarot" and tried to kill us and-" Trunks caught himself before he went any further. "What? Spit it out!" commanded Scootaloo "I sorta, kinda, maybe... wet my pants while fighting him. But not because I was scared or anything!" Scootaloo snickered "Well sorry if you're not used to fighting guys who want to kill you! I bet you spend most of your time just frolicking around in the air with your flimsy little wings, don't you!" said Trunks harshly, in return, he got a hoof-slap across the face. "Hey." said Scootaloo sternly "Don't talk to me about flying." "What's the big deal? It's just a joke." said Trunks Scootaloo sighed, "I can't actually fly. But hey, it's OK, it's not the first time I've been picked on for it." "Oh, um my bad. Hey, who says there's no hope?" said Trunks The labyrinth was seemingly endless, constantly making twists, turns, and dead ends. Eventually, they had reached the center of the hedge maze. It was filled with statues, they were statues of Ponies, Unicorns, Pegasi, and even Griffons. The statues all seemed to have a terrified look on their face. "Oh, so you two have found out my special talent. That's not good is it. Well, let me fix that!" Suddenly, Trunks felt his body become stationary, he was rapidly losing feeling in his body. Finally, he lost all of his senses, he could do nothing but think, in all senses of the word, he was a statue. "I wonder how Scootaloo and Trunks are holding up, they probably found the center before us." said Apple Bloom "They probably already found the gemstone! We don't need to worry." said Sweetie Belle "I don't know guys. Something about Chaos just seems off, he doesn't seem like the guy who would flat out give it to us." said Goten "Goten! You shouldn't judge other ponies like that! It's just rude!" said Sweetie Belle annoyed, and they continued on their way until they found a note on the ground. To whomever may stumble upon this I don't have much time left, Chaos is insane. I got away from him, but not before cursing me so that in a matter of minutes, I'll become pure stone, a trophy for his sick game. Whatever you do, do NOT, let Chaos poke you with his index claw, it's how he turns you into a statue. He lacks compassion, please help the poor souls trapped in their stone prisons. The rest of the writing is faded. The rest of the walk to the center was unnerving, if the note was to be believed, Chaos has been keeping ponies hostage in statues for who knows how long, and there was no getting out of it. Chaos had sealed the entrance to the maze, meaning that they were trapped in an unfamiliar place with a madman! Finally, Goten, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom had reached the long, open section which, as they expected, was decorated with petrified statues. "Oh goody, you finally got here-" "KAMEHAMEHA!" Without warning, Goten fired a perfectly aimed ki wave at Chaos's, he dodged it with a swift tilt of the head. "Ha! I interrupted you that time!" bragged Goten "ZAP! You're a statue!" Almost instantly, Chaos retaliated with a bolt of magic that petrified Goten instantly. "You didn't actually believe that note I left on the ground did you? That was a fake, you simpletons!" said Chaos, who fell over laughing at the wish crusaders' misfortune. After he regained his composure, he attempted to zap Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle with petrifying magic. "Sweetie Belle! What do we do?!" said Apple Bloom, distressed "I might have a plan. Rarity gave me this portable mirror as a present, I think I still have it." said Sweetie Belle, pulling a small mirror from her hair. "Zap!" cried Chaos once again, but the beam hit the mirror, and it reflected onto Scootaloo, reversing the effects of the petrification. Chaos was too frustrated to care about that, he was hell-bent on turning Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle to stone. Sweetie Belle repeated the process until Goten and Trunks were free. "Hey Goten! I think it's time we show them it." Trunks whispered something to Goten and he nodded "Fuuuuuuu-SION! HA!" cried Goten and Trunks in unison, and there was a blinding flash. "Am I supposed to be intimidated? You just did a stupid little dance, and now you're just a kid with a bad fashion sense!" said Chaos mockingly "Just a kid? Chaos let out a rather feminine yelp of anguish. Chaos ran for the nearest exit, Gotenks was there in half a second. "Hey Chaos, I have to ask you something." said Gotenks still carrying a smirk on his face. "What is it?" he replied, his voice trembling "Heads or tails?" asked Gotenks "What?" "I'm asking you, heads or tails?" Chaos gulped, "Tails" he said quietly. In response, Gotenks grabbed him by his tail, and spun him around, getting faster and faster with each spin, and released him, sending him flying towards the low lightning clouds, which Chaos himself had set as a trap, electrocuting him. Chaos fell to the ground like a rock. Gotenks appeared satisfied. "Owch, you'll pay for that! ZAP!" He pointed at Gotenks and nothing happened. "ZAP!" he cried again, and nothing happened. "Just give up already. You can't hurt anyone, and everyone you turned into a statue escaped. Don't make this any harder than it needs to be." said Apple Bloom, he mumbled to himself, and gave up.
