After a battle with Boros' champion Tajic, the Izzet guildmage and planeswalker Ral Zarek has very little choice on his course of action, choosing to planeswalk, landing in a plane unknown to him.
On the day he was going to free himself, Xerath, the magus ascendant is caught in an ambush set by summoners to stop the rampage that the arcane being would start when freed. In the midst of these summoners, however, was a mysterious man who, blowing up a nexus, sent Xerath to another plane of existence.
Now the two mages: arcane and electrical, are on Equestria where a mysterious power is at work, a potent mind that is unidentifiable by any of the Equestrians and the outsiders. What force is at work here? And what does it mean for Equestria?
Rated teen for some swearing.
