Twilight and Dash's Awkward situations

Chapter 3

*Rainbow Dash wakes up pretty early, its about 8:00 in the morning. On a Sunday Morning, she would usually sleep in, being that she was off from cloud arranging on both Saturday and Sunday and every other week off on Wednesday. She gets up and starts to do her normal things in the morning. Go to the bathroom, brush her teeth, Take a shower, brushing her wings and mane, Go into the kitchen and make some breakfast for herself. She sits down at her table and has a nice bowl of cereal. After finishing, doing the dishes and drying herself off the rest of the way, goes out to her mailbox and gets the daily mail. Still slightly thinking about what Twilight might have in store for her, she lays down on her bed and begins to read. Looking through Ponyville's next events, she sees some things that caught her eye

"oo... that sounds like fun, a movie. 'Nightmare on mare street' sounds scary. Maybe Twilight will want to go see that, I wonder if she likes scary movies. I'll ask her if she wants to go see that if she doesn't have anything planned already" Dash finishes the paper and sets it to the side, Nothing else in her interest besides what she can do with her purple unicorn friend.

"shes probably up by now, I should go see if she wants to go see it now" With that, the blue Pegasus leaves to go see Twilight, hoping that she will want to go with her. A few minutes through ponyville she finds herself in front of Twilight's door again. She knocks on the door and waits for an answer. Waits about thirty seconds and the door opens.

"Hey Spike, is Twilight home?"

"Oh, hi Rainbow Dash, yes but she is still sleeping. You can go wake her up if you want"

"Okay, thanks" Rainbow trots into the library, and starts making her way into Twilight's bedroom. wioight still laying in her bed, Dash goes over to her bedside.

"Twilight. Wake up."

"ahhh.... Five more minutes Spike... let me sleep in..."

"Spike?" Twilight slowly starts to open her eyes and is faced with a blue Pegasus beside her

"ahhh!" Twilight jumps back and falls off the other side of the bed

"Twilight?" Rainbow giggled "I didn't even mean to scare you that time" Twilight gets up off the floor as fast as she can, stumbling to her hooves so she doesn't look anymore foolish then she already is.

"Rainbow Dash? w-what are you doing here? how'd you get in?"

"Spike let me in, he said you were still sleeping and I could go wake you up"

"oh... already then"

"Hey do you want to go see a movie later? You said you wanted to hang out and I seen in the pa..."

"yes!" Twilight blurted out before Dash could finish her sentence.

"umm... okay great. It starts at three, so we have a lot of time to do other stuff if you want

"actually.. I was working on a new spell, its a new cloud walking spell, like that one I gave the rest of are friends to go see you preform, but this one is stronger, so it will last a week, other then two days"

"oh, okay cool. what do you need me for then?"

"well, a levitation spell is pretty difficult to preform, and then while doing that I would need to do the cloud walking spell, even for me it would be hard, and if I mess up, I'll probably get really hurt from the drop, so if I had a Pegasus to help me get up to a cloud before I used the spell, it would be a lot easier on my part"

"so what your saying is... you want to use me?"

"no no, its nothing like that. Just it would be eai..." Dash chuckled

"I'm just kidding, I'll help you. You want to do it right now?"

"sure, if you have the time"

"I'm off today, so I have the whole day"

"okay great, let's get going"

"ummm... Twilight?"

"what?"

Rainbow point up at Twilight's mane, all messed up and curled

"And don't you need to take a shower?"  Twilight when't a little red at the sight of Rainbow pointing out all this

"yeah... I s-should probably do t-that... first..." Her voice lower then it usually is

"I'll just wait for you, you go and do all that"

"O-okay..."  Twilight stutters again before making her way into the bathroom.  Rainbow sat up on Twilight's bed

"Why does she keep stuttering? Rainbow says to herself "I've never heard her do that before besies last night with me... weird."

About a half an hour has passed and Rainbow already bored as ever, Twilight finally comes out of the bathroom clean, and with her usual bang she always has.

"okay, now let's go" She says as she starts to go down the stairs and out the front door. Rainbow follows as they both make their way to a open field that had plenty of clouds above it.

"okay Rainbow, let me get on you back and take me up to that big on there" *Rainbow slightly bends her legs so that Twilight can get on her back easier, as she gets on, rainbow braces herself for the weight, but as she gets on, there is barley any weight added

"wow Twilight, your a lot lighter then you look. Alright, now hold on" Dash opens her wings and soars into the air bringing Twilight up off the ground and to the cloud she wanted to experiment on. They reach the height right next to the cloud and Twilight's horn starts to glow, she focuses as a spark jumps out of her horn, telling her that she preformed the spell.

"okay, now just get ready to catch me if I fall through. Alright? Dash nods and gets a little bit closer to the cloud for Twilight. Twilight steps off Dash and onto the cloud.

"wow! it actually works! I'm so glad!" Twilight jumps for joy as she sees that her calculations and planning worked. Dash steps onto the cloud with her.

"good job" Dash complements Twilight on her work

"Now we have to wait, to see if this spell will last as planned"

"your going to wait a week up here?"

"no" she rolls her eyes "I'll just come up here for about a half an hour each day just to see if the spell is lasting"

"oh alright, that makes more sense" They spend a couple more minutes on the cloud together and then Rainbow brings them both down to the ground.

"well, I think I'll go back home, I can't really think of anything else to do until the movie"

"wait... don't go.."

"what?"

"we can just..." Twilight thinks to herself what they can do but also can't think of anything

"see? there's nothing we can do right now. I'll just see you at the movie. okay?" With a joyful voice. Twilight smiles at her

"Alright..." Rainbow looks around and holds out her hooves to give Twilight a hug. Twilight goes into her arms and hugs back

"T-thanks..."

"See you then" Rainbow breaks the hug and walks back home to wait for the movie to start
