Twilight and Dash's Awkward situations

Chapter 4

Both Twilight and Dash wait until about two-thirty and both head out to each others houses to pick the other up. They both surprisingly meet in the center town, so they were both closer to the movie theater then they would have been if one of them when't to one anothers  house. They both go to the movie theater and find their seats. They both sit closer to the back, but not all the way back. The movie begins to start.

"wow, rainbow these are great seats. Nice find"

"Yeah, these are my favorites, perfect viewing and right next to the speakers"

"Your perfect..." She says under her breathe, not enough for Rainbow to hear her

About half way through the movie about at the one hour mark, I big jump scare pops out and makes the crowd jump.

"ahhh!" Twilight jumps back hard and holds onto Dash to her side, continuing to hold on for a few minutes after the jump scare. She finally notices.

"oh... s-sorry... I don't really like scary movies that much..."

"you want to leave?"

"oh no, its alright, I wouldn't want to ruin your good time"

"Twilight, its okay if you want to go, I don't want to make you sit through something you don't want to watch. I'm not rally having that much fun either."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, come on" Both Twilight and Rainbow get up and leave going outside the theater

"Sorry if you didn't want to see that, I just thought it would be fun for us, That movie did kind of suck anyway, So we still have a couple hours. What do you want to do?" Rainbow asked

"I don't know... we could.. go back to my house. See if you want to read something else that isn't Daring Doo"

"Twilight, you've tried that before, I don't like any of your fancy egghead books, they all bore me to death let's do something a little more fun"

"Come on Dash, please?" She asked with a wanting look of her face

"Okay... fine, but if this is just another waste of time, you owe me"

"Deal" With that they both head off to Twilight's library. Another awkward silence as they get there and twilight opens the door and they both step inside

"Okay Dash, I know you like daring Doo, so let me show you some of my favorite action books" She takes her back up to her bedroom and shows her a little bookcase next to her bed

"I always like a little action before I go to sleep" Dash giggles and raises a eyebrow at her

"you do now do you?" In a playful voice. Twilight realizing what she said

"oh no! I didn't mean it like that, just..." Dash laughs again

"I know what you meant, I'm just playing around with you. I need to realize when I'm playing around and not sometimes, you take everything a little to seriously, you got to lighten' up every once and a while" Dash starts to look through the bookcase to see if anything catches her eyes. Twilight levitates a book over to herself and lays on the bed and opens it and starts reading. Dash still looking spot a little red book in the back with light yellow lettering in cursive. Dash reaches back and grabs it. 'fornication with the same gender' Curious, Dash opened the book to about the middle of the book, She read a little and her eyes opened widely as she seen a explicit picture of two ponies on the next page and closed the book fast, looking over at Twilight to make sure she didn't see what Dash was looking at. She book the book back where it was originally and kept looking. Her cheeks a slight red from what she just witnessed. Dash kept looking through the bookcase to see if there was anything else and then quit her search after a few scims through the case.

"umm... I didn't find anything..." Her cheeks still a light crimson

"mmhmm..." Twilight to forced in her book to even realize what Dash just said. Dash looks out the window to notice that the sun was beginning to set already.

"Hey, Twilight. I should probably get going, its getting late now" She puts her book down

"aww,,, already? but you just got here, and there are plenty more books to look through downstairs" Dash motions her to the window to show her that the sun was setting "ok... fine..." Dash starts to trot down the stair when she hears Twilight call out her name again

"Wait! Dash, what if we had a sleep over? Does that sound like fun? Spike isn't here tonight, He has to run an chore for me in the next town over and he won't be back until tomorrow, it would just be us please?"

"A sleep over? Do I look like the type of girl that goes to sleep overs?"

"maybe...?" Dash sighs

"fine... but only this one time, only because I'm to lazy to go back home"

yay!" Twilight yells out in joy as she clops her hooves together "We can do each others hair, and paint each others hooves and give each other mug maces and" Dash cuts her off with a hoof to her mouth to silence her

"Now, you said 'sleep over' not, all that. deal?"

"mmeaf...." Twilight said with the hoof still covering her mouth

"good" Dash takes her hoof away. Twilight goes back upstairs with Dash and lays back down on the bed and continues to read her book, Dash decides there's nowhere else to sit, so she gets on the bed with twilight and lays down next to her

"this is going to be so much fun..." Twilight says to herself
