Discord's Father

  Discord awoke from his sound slumber with a loud thud. Groaning as he lifted his slim form off his bed. Even the spirit of chaos needed sleep, as he moved sluggishly from his lemon shaped bed. With a snap of his fingers a glass of  Root Beer appeared in his lion paw. With his beverage in place he teleported into his garden with a lazy boy. Resting in the calmness of the moment, until he popped a pony in front of him. With a smile threatening to tear his face apart, he beckoned the pony over.

  "Come here goldie I just want to have some company. Is that so wrong? Besides I'm really a nice guy I promise. Oh wait I think I know how to liven things up, here have a pretzel." Discord waved to a bowl filled with the salty snack. "So how are yooo- oh god these pretzels suck!"

  The pony slowly moved to the bowl, taking a pretzel and nibbling on it. She then spit out the contents out of her mouth. Recieving a look of joy from Discord.

  "I'm glad somepony agrees with me on a subject. So may I ask what that noise was earlier? A fine young mare such as your self must have an ear to the ground so to speak, it woke me up from the most wonderful dream I ever had. Though a pink pony in the dream nearly drove me crazy Hahaha but she loved my gifts." Upon hearing the last word the mare glared daggers. "If look could kill I think I would six feet under by now but I'm glad they don't."

  The mare slowly brought down her anger to the point she wouldn't do anything she would regret. The thought of her children without their mother was very unpleasant. Again the sound came this time closer than before. Discord stared in the direction where he figured the sound came from. The mare who sat quietly had slowly inched back as not to be seen by Discord, who on the other hoof stood now and held his gaze. His eyes strained to focus on the horizon of his skies and his kingdom. His eyes widen as a dot zoomed into view, terror rose in his skinny frame. Thoughts of who it was coming for him bounced around in his chaotic mind.

  'Please don't be father please don't be him. I would beg Harmony to make sure'. The thought of his father filled him with dread. He successfully escaped from his father by coming to Equestria, but if this was him Discord had no hope of escaping. Though the dot seemed to slow and stay still as though it watched him.

  Celestia and Luna both watched the hybrid from afar, seeing his face filled in terror was a gift in its self. For years the two alicorns watched as Discord ruined lives, and turn the world upside down. Now armed with the Elements of Harmony they would right the wrongs he caused. Again they flew towards him,  determination on their faces. The wind whipped their manes wildly as they  charged at Discord's castle. As the sisters drew near, Discord's expression turned from horror to joy. Confused the royal sisters were cautious about Discord's emotions. The glare they sent him should have shivers down his spine. Was he giggling at them?

  "Discord we have come to punish you for your crimes committed against not only Equestria and her citizens but to us as well!" Celestia growled at the spirit before them.

  "Haha Hahaha hahahaha- oh that is priceless my dear Celestia hahaha, and here I thought it would be hard to find you. And in turn you found me!" Discord was wiping away tears with his last sentence. "You saved me a lot of trouble you know, I can't thank you enough."

  Celestia and Luna shared a puzzled look, only to snap back to reality by Discord's laughter. His mismatched feet slowly closed the distance between the two parties. Even though Discord mustered up enough courage to even stand but a foot away from the two princesses that stood against him in every way. That's when he saw the Elements of Harmony bound to them.

  "That is really cute to think that those dinky little trinkets will stop me, you must be joking right?" Said the mismatched king of chaos.

  "Trinkets?! We'll show you trinkets!" Celestia continued to glare at him. "Why is this poor mare here?! What have you done to her!?"

  "Relax she's here because I wanted to have somepony to speak with "Miss High and Mighty" I was just so bored." Discord stole a glance at his company. "I was thinking about giving her a new name, I was gonna name her piss-for-brains in honor of you but I thought I could do better with names." Discord shot her a devilish grin. "Oh I know I know! I will call you fluffy!" And with a snap of his fingers the mare in question was a giant ball of fluff.

  Luna gritted her teeth holding back her anger of the sight, how could he treat a pony who did nothing wrong in such manner? "Discord change her back this instant!" Even he was caught off guard by her simply loud statement. He huffed in defeat and changed her back.

  "You always spoil my fun. And to be honest I don't like when I'm not having fun." Replied Discord in a cold tone. He turned back to the mare with a smile. "Let's get you home little one no need to see what's about to happen to YOUR princesses." Again he snapped his fingers, with her out of harms way the fight could begin. He chuckled to himself with all the fun he was about to have with the sisters. "And now to deal with..."

  Before he could finish, a rainbow struck him as he spoke. Before he even act he was encased in stone. His statue sat still as the princesses observed his likeness, his goat and dragon legs showed  his muscles were very defined. The lion paw and eagle talon both looked able to rip doors off their hinges. His protruding tooth was extremely odd, considering the rest of him. His two horns caused the two sister to snicker.

  "Attention my little ponies, the villain Discord has been defeated! And with his defeat we have  been liberated from his cruel parnks and plights." Celestia's announced to the crowd below. Their cheers and cries of joy broke her calm visage. Both Luna and Celestia nearly in tears themselves, at long last Equestria could know peace. The ponies below danced and praised the princesses. They all called to their saviors asking them to take their rightful places. Was it their place to rule? Now it was Luna's turn to speak.

  "We will be the sovereigns over Equestria, and we swear to uphold your safety and this land."  The crowd again cheered in approval, and for a time Equestria knew peace.
