I looked around as I got off the train, in Ponywood. "There are so many things to do!" I thought. "No, I must do what I came here for first. There's no way anypony would turn me down as a stunt double! I could actually die in death scenes! I could do anything without a fear of imminent death!." I walked down the street to an information center. "Hello,do you know if there is anypony looking for a stunt double here?" I asked the mare behind the counter.

"Yes in fact I do!" She replied, I could hear the fake happiness. "Here is a list!" She smiled weakly as she handed me the sheet.

"Thank you very much." I said to her. The first place on the list was not far from where I was. "Hmm, I wonder what movie they're doing." I thought to myself as I stepped onto the street trolley.

"Now I am only looking for the BEST stunt actors. You need to be able to fall from heights that would kill a pony, and land on a mat. You need to be able to stay in character, throw hits and take hits too!" Said the director. "Now, which of you mares think you're ready?" He grinned, I grinned too. "First station, all of you. Well all of you that are still up to it." We all walked over to the building falling area, leaving a small group behind.

I the last one in line, oh well, save the best for last! I heard a scream as a stallion jumped from the four story platform. He landed on the mat with a large WUMP! "That was AWESOME!" He yelled after getting off the mat. This was repeated until one stallion got up to the top of the ladder, looked over the edge and then climbed down, shaking slightly. As he walked away I gave him a pat on the back.

"Nice try man, heights weren't really my thing either for a while." He looked at me and perked up a bit.

Finally it was my turn, I climbed the ladder without fear or hesitation. I looked down once at the top and yelled down. "Take away the mat!"

"What? Son are you nuts? This fall will kill you!" Came the reply.

"Trust me, it won't." I yelled back.

"Fine, you signed the waiver right?" He asked, he seemed more interested about his bits than my life.

"Yes!" I called to him. He shrugged and made a motion to the ponies next to him, who then ran over and took the mat away. Looking down I took a deep breath and jumped, I could hear the wind whistling past my ears. The I hit the ground with a large crack.

"Well then, that was a tad bit suicidal." I heard the director say.

"Yeah, too bad I don't die!" I said to him, standing up. The director spit out a mouthful of coffee and jumped out of his chair.

"What the buck? You just got flattened! How are you alive!" He yelled, obviously confused.

"Like I said, I don't die." I replied, a smirk grew on my face as a smile grew on his.

"What's your name son?" He asked me.

"Sargast, Sargast Everdeath." I told him.

"Well Sargast, let's talk about that new job of yours." I jumped for joy while pumping my hoof.

"I was in!"

Twilight was going through her mythology books, looking for any type of sign that the villain that Sargast described was in there, when there was a knock at her door. "Come in!" She yelled.

"Hey Twilight." Rainbowdash said.

"Hi Rainbow." Twilight replied to the cyan mare. "Have you seen Sargast anywhere? I need to ask him about something." She asked Dash.

"Yeah I've seen him, and you aren't gonna believe where." Rainbow said as she laid a magazine down on Twilight's table. The alicorn looked at it.

"Rainbow I thought I told you that everything in those tabloids were fake." Twilight said accusingly.

"Yeah I know, but I didn't buy it for the gossip." Rainbow proclaimed.

"Then why did you buy it?" Twilight asked her rainbow-maned friend.

"Somepony we know got famous quick." Rainbow said through a chuckle.

"Who, Rarity?" Twilight asked as she turned around to look at the magazine, seeing the cover she gasped.

"Sargast! But how? What?" Twilight was confused, every time anypony learned about his ability they would run away. She read the cover out loud. "Sargast Everdeath, the greatest stunt double ever." Twilight smiled, stunt double of course! He wasn't able to die so he would be able to do any type of stunt!

"Hey Twilight." Rainbow said.

"Yes Rainbow?" Twilight replied.

"I think Ponyville is gonna get very crowded, very soon." Rainbow and Twilight giggled, first when Twilight had become an alicorn the paparazzi never left her alone for two weeks. As well Ponyville became extremely crowded as ponies from all across Equestria flooded in to see their new princess. With Sargast now famous Ponyville will be more crowded than ever, as well Twilight wouldn't get a moments peace, ponies would soon be asking her questions on her opinion of Sargast's abilities. Or maybe on the stallion himself!

"Well then Rainbow, best we enjoy the peace while it lasts." Twilight said.

Sargast was not the pony to become annoyed with other ponies, but these stupid camera ponies were getting on his nerves. They followed him anywhere he went, and watched his every move, waiting for an opportunity to get some dirt on him or just to get an interview. Sargast was just about to walk through the door to his temporary home when a reporter jumped in front of him. "Hello Sargast, my name is Close Up! I would like to get an interview with you, if it's alright. I looked at the mare and smiled warmly.

"Since you asked me first sure, come on in." I said to her as I opened my door. Once we were situated inside she started asking questions.

"What do you think of your powers?" She asked, putting on her interviewer voice.

"Well to tell the truth, at first I thought they were quite the pain in the ass. It not only gave me immunity to death but it made me prone to death, it gave me terrible luck to say the least. But now that I finally can use them for something other than getting up after being hit by a train I feel that they are pretty awesome."

"What first made you think of using your powers for this?"

"Well, I was flat broke, and I needed some kind of income. I was thinking of jobs when I decided to turn on the T.V. The first commercial that came on was a stunt double training ad. I also really found movie deaths unrealistic and really fake looking, so I thought, what if the pony actually died? So I grabbed the last few bits I had and came here, Ponywood."

"Uh-huh. How do you think your family feels about your powers." I winced at this question, but decided to answer.

"My parents are dead, and I was an only foal." I said gravely.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for asking." She made a movement with one of her hooves and the camera stopped rolling. "This isn't live, I can edit that part out if you want me to." I smiled at her sincerity.

"No it's fine, that little bit there should top the boards for a week at the least." We both laughed.

"Thank you for your time Mr. Sargast." She said.

"Just call me Sargast, I hate being formal and fancy." We both laughed again.

"Okay Sargast thank you for the wonderful interview." She said as both she and her camera crew left.

The studio was abuzz with excitement, for the movie release date was only a day away. They had already sent the movie away to the critics, and they had loved it! Three groups have us four out of five stars, and two gave us five out of five. The director walked up to me and said. "It's all because of you." I was confused at first, but he explained further. "The critics loved all of the stunts, they said they could all see the ponies face, full of emotion, as if he was actually doing the stunt in real life." We both chuckled. He continued. "If you hadn't come along the movie wouldn't have been nearly as good. That's why I put your name on the main cast list's." I looked at him in disbelief.

"But I'm only a stunt double! The actual actors did most of the work!" I said to him.

"That may be true but you did just as much as they did, I don't think they would willingly jump off a building without a mat below. I don't see any of them willingly being shot for an action scene?" He said to me. Then he spoke the killer. "I want you to be an actual actor in the sequel." I was stunned.

"Me? An actor?" I said to him shocked.

"Yep, you'll be the best of the best pal, I can see it in your eyes." He said to me while playfully punching me.

Rarity was floored when she saw the interview with Sargast. "Sargast, got an interview with Close Up?!" Rarity pouted a little.

"Rarity y'all should be proud of Sargast, it looks like he finally found his calling." Applejack said to her.

"I know but I have wanted to get interviewed by her for years!" Rarity complained on like that for another few minutes. Twilight had also seen the interview, but was troubled by something other than Rarity complaining.

"He never told any of us that his parents were dead." She said aloud, so everypony could hear her. They all turned to her and listened intently. "Why would he tell her if he wouldn't tell us?"

"Well maybe he didn't want to make us pity him or start weighing him down with comments of oh I am so sorry about your parents!" Rainbowdash said, the girls all looked at her. They weren't used to her being a fountain of good advice and deeper thought. "What? I can't have an opinion other than going and kicking somepony's flank or quick accusations."

"Sorry Rainbowdash." The girls said in sync.

"Its alright." She said.

"I think you're right Rainbow." Twilight said.

"Well of course I'm right." Rainbow.

"Maybe he didn't want us to know so we wouldn't bring it up all the time with our sorry's." Twilight concluded. All of the girls nodded in agreement. "So when he gets back don't bring it up, unless he does." They all nodded again. "Good."
