Lyra just wants a simple life.

She wants to live in her cozy cottage in Ponyville with her roomate, best friend and crush Bon Bon, playing the lyre whenever she wants, studying her unusual hobby of non-pony sentient creatures, where the biggest threat to her life is when a string breaks, the biggest challenge to her life is what to have for lunch, and the biggest mystery is whether Bon Bon likes her the same way.

Unfortunately the universe doesn't want to give her the privelege, it seems.

Whether dealing with supernatural mysteries, fighting demons and vampires, trying to get a cult off her tail, avoiding the chaos of Ponyville life, traversing alternate worlds, or handling the widespread destruction caused by giant alien creatures and/or robots, all that Lyra wants in her crazy life is a break. And maybe a slice of pie.
