A lab deep in the forest. There, tests are conducted on innocent ponies. The workers don't seem to care. They say it's in the name of science. They torture the subjects, usually removing body parts and seeing how they function without them. There is a large explosion, and the workers are killed. The subjects believe it's time to escape. After all, the workers are dead.
