10 Minutes Before Saitama's Arrival
Fluttershy had been ecstatic that day. She had discovered that she was one of the elements of harmony, kindness to be exact. So to celebrate the day that she had made six friends, which had been a great accomplishment for the shy pegasus, by doing what she enjoyed most, helping animals. She roamed in the everfree forest looking for any hurt animal nearby, with protection of course. She had brought along her friend Berry, he was a full grown bear with great knowledge of the Everfree.
Berry wasn't just there for protection though. His nose was highly sensitive, on par with wolves, and was able to smell any blood that may be on hurt animal and direct Fluttershy towards the injured. As they were going down the path for a couple of minutes, Berry started to pick up a familiar smell ahead of them.
It was blood, he then tapped on Fluttershy's shoulder with his paw and and held out a claw in the direction of the smell. Fluttershy understood immediately and began a gallop towards that direction. Berry, being of bigger mass, was understandably a little slower than Fluttershy. As they began to approach the area which he smelt the blood, his instincts went haywire.
He knew almost immediately that whatever was over their could kill him and Fluttershy with ease. The feeling was different from a manticore's, which Fluttershy was on good terms with their species, it was completely different, almost foreign. He knew he had to stop Fluttershy from reaching her destination, but as fast as he was, he couldn't catch up to Fluttershy. She was determined to get to whatever injured was over there as fast as possible and was even flapping her wings while running to gain speed.
As he tried to catch up to her, they had gotten considerably closer. He was about to roar to get her attention until he felt another presence. The last could be said to be powerful, more than Celestia herself, but this, this was unlike anything he had ever felt. Though he knew one thing, he was afraid. The mighty roar that he was about to attempt came out as nothing but a whimper as he stood stock still and sat in unbridled terror.
He could only watch as Fluttershy ran ahead of him almost out of sight until he saw her stop and stare at whatever was over there.
Fluttershy on the other hand had been deeply worried for the animal that had been hurt as she was running with all her strength, even flapping her wings in hope to gain some momentum. She had left Berry behind thinking he would catch up when she had reached the injured. But as she reached er destination, she saw something she wasn't expecting. Two creatures were face to face with each other.
One naked, along with red lines randomly on his skin, and the other in some sort of yellow and red clothing, with a flowing cape along with it. Even though this was very confusing to Fluttershy, she still had to look for an injured animal. Taking cover behind a bush she looked around the two creature on the ground for any injured animal. Odd thing was though, there was none.
Berry had led her here from the smell of blood, so she looked around to see if any of the creatures were bleeding, until she noticed the one with red lines had blood all along its feet. She could tell it wasn't his or the other one's, so where did it come from? She decided to watch the two creatures to see if they did anything.
She looked at the faces of the two creatures. The red lined one had almost no expression on his face, while the clothed one looked to be increasingly bored. She was going to get a closer look, that was until she blinked. When her eyes closed and reopened all she saw was the clothed creature standing next to the red lined creature.
Though one small detail seemed to be missing. The red lined one's head was missing, replaced by a red mist. She couldn't believe what she had just saw. The clothed creature just murdered the red lined one with no hesitation or remorse, and he did it within a blink of an eye. She stood there looking at the clothe creature until it looked at its bloodied glove and gave a glare that could kill a lesser stallion. It was a face that screamed out the creature's one emotion, pure frustration.
Fluttershy's eyes shrank to pinpricks. She can one-hundred percent say that this was the one moment in her life she felt the fear of death. Even the encounter with Nightmare Moon, or the fall from Cloudsdale, she still had hope. Hope that her friends would help her in each of those situations, whether her pony or animal friends, she knew they would be able to help her. Here though, she knew even if she had her friends with her, it could easily annihilate her, just like the red lined creature.
Then she almost jumped out of her skin when the creature let out a echoing "God Dammit!" throughout the forest. Then the creature started to vaguely walk in her direction. At this point Fluttershy had no hope, so she did the only thing she could, sit there, sit there until the creature either left or came to claim her life. When the creature got close to the bush Fluttershy couldn't take it anymore, as darkness consumed her vision.

Saitama was having a really bad day. On top of having his expectations crushed by the god classed monster, he also had no idea where he was. He could only sigh to himself as he started to walk in the direction of a semi clear strip of land in hope that it lead to civilization. As he began to enter the woods he heard something fall, something near one of the bushes he was next to.
As he began to look, he saw a yellow horse behind the bush, probably dead or just unconscious. ' Huh, a horse, don't see many of those where I live.' He looked over to see that it also had pink hair and butterflies on its rear. On a whim he thought he could take it back with him maybe as a souvenir. Then he thought about the expenses of keeping it, then his own expenses, then his food expenses.
He came to the realization that he didn't have enough money to take care of himself, let alone a horse. The thought came to mind just how poor he was. Yes, saving the world from monstrosities doesn't exactly pay very well, at least in his case. In fact he had heard somewhere that horses were actually a delicacy.
Though the more he looked at it, the more it didn't seem to be a horse, for one the legs were off. Usually horses would have visible joints on the legs, he couldn't see any. Next were the eyes, way too big, and he was also wondering if here fur was actually dyed or not. Then probably the most obvious, it had wings.
So he could either do one of two things. One, exploit the fact that a new species has been found and probably get pain a sum, though, then again, new species have been popping up everywhere. In fact most of what he had fought have been new species. And two, sell to somewhere overseas so he can pay his rent.
So with that in mind he picked up the horse and began to walk away.
