Reign of Fire: Equestria

Leviathan twitched opening his eyes he blinked multiple time he was in a hospital room sitting up he saw that the sky was dark and stars sparkled out in the night sky showing the majesty of night. Looking around the room he saw that no one was there smiling he stepped out of bed yanking the I.V. out of his arm and detaching the heart monitoring devices stepping around he noticed some clothes a black jacket with two slits in the back it had a hood, under that lay a white grey t-shirt, a pair of dark blue jeans and then some black boots with socks on them lay a note picking it up he tossed it to the bed and slipped into the clothes. Walking over to the window he opened it and flew out into the night sky enjoying the wind on his scales.

Dark Moon looked up at the sky she was walking through the streets of Ponyville after closing up her General Store looking up she saw some stars disappear then reappear shaking her head she looked again nothing in the sky had changed. Continuing home she sighed her dress waved in the slight breeze as she walked running into Rarity she smiled and said "Hey Raritiy hows it going ?"

"Good darling i hope that brute enjoys the clothes i had given him."

"Well we can see how he liked them in the morning if he is awake."

"Well i doubt the doctors are right 'He'll be out for another 34 hours' doubtfull am i right Dark Moon ?"

"Probably we'll find out tomorrow bye." she said walking off quickly and making her way to her medium sized house it was two story three bedroom two baths, and kitchen between the three bedrooms was a medium sized living room that had one couch and infront of it was a dining room table littered with magazines also in the room was a flat screen T.V. 25 in., DVR box and an X box sighing she looked around "Home sweet home." she muttered and then walked into her room to sleep.

(Everfree forest)

Landing in the forest heavily Leviathan looked around and saw no one around sniffing the air he smelled nothing except the wildlife grunting he flew up into the air kicking up dust, leaves, branches and rocks flying up high he turned and flew low taking a breathe he spit fire into the forest catching it ablaze. The fire spread fast and furiously burning down everything to ash the animals ran screeching all the way out spreading faster and further the fire engulfed everything in the forest within minutes. Leviathan landed after the fire went out when he touched the ground he heard a crunch looking down he saw the remains of a manticore skull shaking his head Leviathan moved on and walked through the dust smiling and looking around the land and smiled just like home stretching his wings and yawning he made his way to a spot and collapsed onto the ground falling into a deep slumber.

Zecora held her arm it had gotten caught in the flames limping toward Sweet Apple Acres she grunted throught the pain her mane was dark grey along with the exposed white stripes on her arms her dress was ripped and burned when she ran through the forest limping onto a dirt road she sighed. Walking up to the house she raised her right arm only to hiss at the pain remembering the burns she used her left arm knocking on the door. Opening the door Applebloom looked up at Zecora shocked to see the state she was in she called out to her siblings "APPLEJACK BIG MAC ZECORA IS HURT !!!"

Running down the stares the sibling saw Zecora and hurried over seeing her burned and in pain Big Mac was the first one to be by Zecora since they were together for two years "Zecora what happend to yah ?" he asked getting on his knees looking at her love she said "I do not know but the forest is gone burned to ash."

"But how did it burn down ?"

"All i saw when leaving my house was the forest ablaze and raging towards me i have nothing left my home-" she broke down crying Big Mac held her close being careful as to not touch her arm "You are always welcome here Zecora but we should check out the forest tomorrow." the they all nodded and decided to check out the forest tomorrow with the mane six, Big Mac and Spike.

(Everfree forest the next day)

"Oh my Celestia." Twilight whispered looking at the grey land a breeze went by kicking up the dust making a small cyclone the mares looked out at the bare land Fluttershy was crying thinking of all the critters that had lost their homes Rainbow Dash was comforting her the best she could Big Mac was holding Zecora ho had managed to convince him to take her "What kind of monster could do this ?" Pinkie asked her mane had deflated the CMC stood behind the group sad that the area they explored and had fun in was gone.

"Ah don't know but if i find it i'll kill it." Big Mac growled Spike walked a few feet into the land sniffing the air he shook his head "Nothing its like whatever did this i can't smell it."

"What do you mean Spike ?" Twilight asked her assistant he kept walking forward

"I mean whatever did this blends into the landscapes new scent."

"Okay sooooo what does that mean."

"Well Twilight it means that if this thing were to at-" Spike was cut off when a dark figure landed behind him and a loud hissing sound was heard turning Spike saw Leviathan towering over him Leviathans fist slamed into Spikes face sending him into the ground kicking up dust Spike spit up some blood onto the ground Leviathan kicked him in the face again Spike flew by the group snarling Leviathan growled "Why are you tresspassing on my territory !?!?" the mares backed up looking down he grunted "You eleven didn't tresspass but that purple disgrace did." he pointed to Spike as Rarity helped him up.

"What do you mean by your territory ?" Twilight asked stepping forward carefully.

"I mean that this land was given to me by the princess known as Celestia i then marked it as mine by burning it to the ground and covering the land in ash."

"B-but the princesses wouldn't give land and not alert the pony living there."

"Maybe they didn't know about her did you ever tell the princesses about her ?"

"Yes i did i even sent her a letter !?!?"

"Did you mention where she lived exactly ?"

"W-well no i didn't i only told her about Zecora living in the Everfree."

"And there is the answer to your question YOU didn't tell her EVERYTHING so if she had died it would have been your fault not mine or the princesses BUT YOURS."

"B-but.........-y-you............i-i" she began to break down Leviathan continued "Any who tresspass on my land risk death spread the news the Everfree is gone all that remains is a new land."

Turning Leviathan flew into the air shooting up into the air at a impressive speed and then turning sharply he went deeper into his land. Rainbow Dash looked as he flew away awe struck from the speed and sheer power of this monster, Twilight was shaking from the anger shooting up she turned to her friends "Come on i have a letter to send to the princesses and i don't want to be stuck by this Ashland."
