King

The king of the bat ponies stared down at the lead Black Star was kneeling before him his wounds untreated the soldier had been waiting in the throne room in that position for four days unmoving the king smiled. Standing up King Xenon stood at 7ft even walking down the stairs that lead from his throne the floor cracking with the dark magic leaking from his body "now my young warrior why do you wish to see me so urgently that you kneel for four days ?"

"Sir at Ponyville was a dragon he was mighty when we attacked him our weapons did little to hurt him." Black Star said without looking up he kept looking down

"Hmmm interesting but WHY does this concern me ?"

"Majesty he stands taller than you he has no remorse or pity in his heart only hate and hunger."

"Interesting so why do you worry ?"

"I worry sir is because he is a hellfire dragon long forgotten in this land."

"What proof do you have ?"

"Search my memories this dragon matches the species the only difference being his coloring my majesty the reason i worry is because of the-" Dark Star was cut off my the king slaming him across the room into the pillar dark magic holding him there Dark Star was grabbing at his throat only to find nothing holding him. Xenon walked up getting into the bat ponies face Xenon was a bat pony shaman able to use magic, he had crystal white hair his man was black and streaked with grey, his tail was grey streaked with black both his eyes were a mix of a sickly green and crimson red he wore combat armor in the center chest was the symbol of there land a bat with its wings ablaze.

"Hmmmm it seems you have told me the truth YOU shall attack that town again." Xenon stated turning he began to walk back to his throne Black Star was still pinned to the wall "I have some new pets i wish to test in the field." he let Black Star down standing up he bowed his head and said "Yes your majesty where will i go for these creatures ?"

"The science section of Complex 5-687 B-76 go to the room labeled 67 and ask for Doctor Hatter just a warning he is crazy." Black Star bowed and left to go and see these new 'Pets' his king was talking about.

(Ashland two and a half weeks later Late at night)

Leviathan was hunting for his next meal sniffing the air he smelled something a mile away it had killed another creature turning slightly he began to fly to the creature it took him a few minutes landing a few feet away he saw it hunkered over a Manticore eating from it noisly tearing off meat and crushing bone its jaws. The creature was black with light grey stripes running down its body from what Leviathan could tell it was a four legged animal it had two tails each ending with a spike like appendage that glittered in the light on its back were two thick spikes sprouting from his shoulders a good two inches its back legs were reversed lightly they weren't straight like the ponies but bent forward then back and forming regular looking lower legs its front arms were regular but its hands ended in sharp claws that seemed to encase the fingers.

The creature turned its head it sensed something sniffing the air it caught the smell of smoke and death turning it saw a dragon standing behind it snarling it swung around coming face to face with the dragon. Seeing the creatures face it was odd it had no eyes and its head a sorta triangular shape to it like a rattlesnakes, from above where the eyes were supposed to be were two massive horns that curved upwards a little. Leviathan looked the creature over again to size it up the length of it was 7 ft and it stood to Leviathans chest the creature was 4 feet wide it snarled Leviathan returned the gesture by spreading its wings and snarling the creature spread its own wings massive and bat like and lunged.

Leviathan turned the creature missed swinging his tail he caught it in the mid section causing it to fly end over end its arms and legs flailing wildly it landed a good five feet away its recovery was flawless rolling back onto its feet. Lunging at him again Leviathan dodged only to feel a sharp pain in his shoulder and stomach the creature had got him with its tails Leviathan felt himself be lifted into the air the flung somwhere in the distance landing on a fallen tree it splintered Leviathan groaned rolling onto his stomach he pushed himself up the creature was upon him swinging downward aiming for his head quickly moving it missed taking a deep breathe Leviathan breathed flames all over the creature coating it in the flames it screamed an ear piercing scream and began to roll across the ground trying to put the flames out with only spreading the further across its body Leviathan circled the creature waiting for it to die.

IT began to bloat like a blow fish Leviathan had never seen anything like this then suddenly and with out warning it exploded coating Leviathan with its green blood Leviathan ignored the blood so he walked forward the only remaining body part of the creature was its head reaching down Leviathan felt a burning sensation looking down he saw that his body was burning and smoke curled up. Tearing off his shirt and pants that Leviathan had he managed to get them off but the blood coated his exposed arms and face screaming a primal scream he began to thrash about trying to get the blood off and end this pain he twitched and spasmed before blacking out only thing he heard were his screams of pain and the hissing of steam coming off his body.

(Ponyville hospital two days later)

Leviathans eyes shot open looking around the room he noticed he was in a hospital room different from the one he was in earlier sitting up he noticed Dark Moon sitting next to his bed head resting on her hands jacket covering her body like a blanket sighing he laied his head back down and shut his eyes. Celestia was standing outside talking to Twilight and her friends while they looked over the skull of the dead creature pondering what it was "Twilight you said you found this by Leviathan when you entered his territory looking for him after hearing his screams ?"

"Yes I was outside star gazing with my friends when we heard the screams coming from the Ashland." Twilight said shuddering at the memory of finding Leviathan on the ground his face and arms burned from the blood and thrashing about flinging blood across the ground "Thats when we saw the carcass of this this thing and when I went near it I noticed its body was burning the ground like acid."

"Hmmm this creature is strange I will give it to Luna to give to our scientist to study and figure this out I sense that Leviathan has awoken." Celestia said turning around and walking into his room to see the dragon laying back eyes closed Dark Moon in the corner sleeping soundly walking over to the dragon she lightly tapped his shoulder. Leviathan felt his shoulder being tapped turning his head slightly he cracked them open to see Celestia standing over him growling quietly he said "What do you want ?"

"Leviathan I wish to talk to you about the creature you killed in Ashland."

"Well Celestia this thing was big i mean on all fours it nearly stood eye level with me it was tough, fast and built to take pain and then dish it out but from the smell coming off it i could tell it wasn't natural."

"Really how could you tell ?"

"Well it smelled of lab you know cleaning supplies, medicine and other chemicals you know that stuff plus I can't think of anything that naturally bleeds acid."

"I see and it bleed acid ?"

"Yes i'm pretty sure the burn marks on my body can be compared to that of acid burns."

"Hmmm well i hope you will feel better Leviathan." Celestia said swinging his legs off the bed Leviathan stood there in a medical gown looking around he found some clothes quickly throwing them on Celestia felt her face burn from the sight of the dragons physical appearance turning away she said "Are you sure that you should be up ?"

"I've suffered through worse so i think i'll be fine your majesty." Levithan hissed before brushing past her which was the about the same as a pony pushing her stumbling she turned and said "Where are you going ?"

"To find the rest of those creatures i still smell the stinch of those THINGS in my land." He snarled turning to her and looking at her with his golden eyes shuddering Celestia exclaimed "You must rest and you know you should !!!" spreading her wings and getting in Leviathans face snarling at her Leviathan shoved her into the wall with one hand the entire hand was able to grasp her torso easily the other remained at his side hissing he said "You do not control me girl NO ONE CONTROLSSSS ME !!!!" spreading his wings he knocked the bed over along with soem of the lab equipments. Jumping up Dark Moon heard a commotion looking up she saw Levithan holding Princess Celestia up against the wall wings spread he looked like a deadly predator running forward she grabbed the arm by his side quickly yelling "Don't kill her Levithan PLEASE !!!!"

Startled Leviathan looked down and noticed Dark Moon holding his left arm down with all her weight behind it frowning he let Celestia go and said "Okay I won't hurt her but i must get back to my territory."

"Oh no you don't those wounds were serious i didn't help the doctors get you back up just so you get yourself killed !!!"

"Wait you helped me ?"

"Yes I did." she stated letting go of his arm and placing her hands on her hips and puffing out her chest which Leviathan found rather attractive turning away slowly to hide his blush from her he said "But why help me ?"

"u-uh w-w-well I just did OKAY stop questioning me !!!" she yelled face growing red Levithan turned back to see this nodding he said "Thank you Dark Moon." and with that he hugged her bringing her in close to his chest. Resting her head on Levithans chest she could hear his heart beat like a mighty drum while hears beat faster than a hummingbirds on a caffine high pulling away she stammered "W-w-well s-since i-i-i g-got you t-to stay w-where are y-you going t-t-to be staying d-d-during your r-recovery ?"

"I do not know but I will find somewhere-" Leviathan was cut off by a pink blur rushing into the room and grabbing Dark Moon from behind covering her mouth and quickly saying "Levithan you should stay with Dark Moon IT'LL BE FUN !!!!" Dark Moon went red faced Levithan nodded and said "Okay sounds good."

"Great AND TOMORROW I'M GONNA THROW YOU A WELCOME TO PONYVILLE PARTY !!!"

(Bat pony empire castle)

Xenon stood infront of a mirror conversing with Black Star on the job his pet had done "So how did it perform in the field Black Star ?"

"Good your majesty it was able to put the dragon in the hospital especially after it exploded why didn't you tell me they had acid for blood ?"

"I figured you would enjoy the surprise Black Star."

"Well it was good to see do they have any other tricks up there sleeves ?"

"I'll let you find that out Black Star and how go the 'UPGRADES' ?"

"Well at first it was difficult to adapt to but now i feel amazing i see, hear, and smell things you couldn't beleive."

"Good be sure to use those upgrades wisely or ELSE."

"Yes your majest understood I must go and inspect the others some of them brought back kills."

"Good bye Black Star." Xenon finished turning away from the mirror he walked away from the mirror and onto the balcony outside looking over his city sighing he said in a dark tone "Soon my daughter you will be brought back to your home wether you like it or not."
