A LOT of fast-forwards later...
"Now I'd like to show you how rainbows are made. Inside this door lies where the magic happens."
The door opens by strings.
"This is the Rainbow Maker."
The machine has an EPIC yellow glow behind it for a moment before ceasing.
"This is the most important part of making a rainbow. The Spectrum Crystal. Princess Celestia trusted the Pegasus with this jewel for many centuries. It is the only thing that can make rainbows."
"The Jewel is placed here and we flip the switch to shine light onto it making all the colors for a rainbow. The colors are then zapped into the rainbow before the color is added to...add the color. That's how rainbows are made."
The video pauses.
"Whoa, Dashie. You weren't kidding," I said to Dashie. We were watching the Weather Factory instructional video to see how rainbows are made.
"It's awesome to think how easy it is to make rainbows," She replied.

"How about we take 5?" Rainbow insisted. Pinkie nodded and they walked over to the counter and they each sat on a bench. Rainbow was at Sugarcube Corner, helping Pinkie make some cupcakes. (Trollestia says: U MAD?)
"Dashie, there's something I wanna show yeah," Pinkie said, bubbly as ever. Dash agreed and they headed to the basement. Pinkie stopped at the door. "Dashie? I have to warn you. It looks really scary down here, but it's all just pretend." She opened the door.
"Uh...Pinkie? I can't see anything." Dash stared off into the dark.
"Oh yeah. Just a sec." She flipped a switch to reveal the room.
The room held a table made from bones. A party setup was on said table. Skulls everywhere wearing party hats. Blood dripping from the walls. In the middle was a banner made from fur and blood. It read "Life's a Party." Off to the left was a table with straps to hold a pony down with a cart of sharp knifes and tools to it's right.
"Pinkie?" The pony trotted to Dash.
"Yeah?"
"What's this for?"
"Nightmare Night, silly." Dash sighed, glad to hear an honest answer. "What'd yeah think it's for?"
"Well...you are Pinkie Pie. Pinkie's always random."
"I am Pinkie, aren't I? Well, what do you think, Dashie?"
"It's awesome. Where'd you get all this?"
"The skull and bones are from a bone collector. He collects them from deceased ponies and sells them for experiments. The blood is from a prop store. It's...not pony blood. I think it's manticore blood." Dash coughed at this. "The party hats...I always have those. The fur banner...I asked Rarity for a fake pelt and I cut out the letters myself. Oh...I almost forgot." She went away and came back wearing an outfit.
It had cutie-marks stitched together on the rear, unicorn horns as a necklace and pegasus feathers on the back. "I had to ask Rarity for such a really ambitious build. Thankfully, I helped. The wings are feathers glued each together to a wire base, the horns are from...broken ones I got from the collector. He collects horns from the deceased, too. Finally, the cutie-marks were drawn up by me and made by Rarity on felt. Fake Cutie-Marks." Dash had a smile on her face. So much effort went into all this and for Nightmare Night no less.
"Anything I can do?"
"Yeah, actually. Follow me." They walked over to the table with straps. "You'll be strapped down to this and I'll make it look like I'm...killing you." She shook at the thought of murder. "Spooky."
"That's so cool. You'll use the m blood?" Pinkie nodded.
"Will you?" Dash nodded. "YAY!...OH!" She ran upstairs to check on the cupcakes. Dash stood there and waited for a minute. "Here's yours, Dashie." She handed the pegasus a cupcake with cyan frosting and Dash's cutie-mark in the middle.
"Awesome cupcake, Pinks." She looked at Pinkie, holding a cupcake with pink frosting and her cutie-mark on it. They both took a nibble of their cupcakes, smiled and laughed.
