Last time on Equestria, The New Heroes: As all dust in Ponyville had finally begun to settle from the beast attack about a week earlier and RedTails beginning to feel a new type of joy, not only has a mysterious red box appeared with seven small pendants appeared, but even Princess Celestia was concerned about RedTails, but the fear he had experienced the previous night in a surreal nightmare, was about to come to pass.

Episode 4:

Red vs. Blue! The clash of the tails!

Outside the entrance to Ponyville...

"FINALLY! Jeez, that walk took forever, well now that i'm here..."

Meanwhile at Sweet Apple Acres...

"So Princess Celestia, is there anything else you want to ask me?" RedTails asked.

"I... I am sorry that I questioned you on these things, I should have had more trust in you..." Princess Celestia said sadly.

"Hey, it's alright, i'm fine," said RedTails in an effort to try and cheer up Princess Celestia.

"Thank you, I hope to see you again soon RedTails," she said with a smile. In a flash she was gone. RedTails went to check on AppleBloom and found that she

was staring at one of the pendants.

"RedTails, I could of sworn that there pendant was glowin," said AppleBloom.

"Hm, why would they-" RedTails stopped when he saw one of them actually was glowing, not only that but when it glowed it changed colors from grey to red.

In an instant, the pendant flung itself on to RedTails's neck.

"Whoa, what is this thing doing?" RedTails asked. He remembered that note that was on the box, "A gift"... Was it meant for him? If so, why send seven? Who sent them in the first place?

AppleBloom was about to say something until a loud crash came from outside the house.

"What was that?!" shouted the now very worried AppleBloom. They both ran outside to immediately find AppleJack and BigMac on the ground, hurt.

BigMac was trying to get up and AppleJack had already passed out.

"We..., were commin from Apple sellin... w-when..." BigMac couldn't finish that sentence when he had passed out as well.

Large sounds of smashing and explosions could be heard coming from Ponyville.

"AppleBloom, get them inside! I need to see what's going on in the town!" RedTails said. AppleBloom agreed.

RedTails dashed to Ponyville as fast as he could. When he arrived he saw that the area had been evacuated, but then he saw what was causing this disaster.

He saw three of the type of beast that he had defeated when he first came to Ponyville.

"But how?! Are they here for revenge?!" RedTails thought.

"Why hello there," Red Tails saw a stallion standing under the three beasts. RedTails was shocked by his characteristics.

An adult, blue stallion with blue eyes and a black mane, wearing a black cloak, standing on his hind legs, and... a tail like RedTails except it was blue?!

"I see you take interest in my tail, no?" said the blue stallion. The three beasts turned in into large blue auras and were absorbed into his tail.

"So you're the one causing this destruction?" RedTails asked angrily.

"What do you think?" the blue stallion launched his tail forward like a beam at RedTails but he quickly dodged it and grew his second and third tails.

"YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID!" RedTails shouted. He dashed towards the blue stallion.

"The name's Brazeken, don't wear it out colt," Brazeken said with a smirk on his face.

RedTails launched himself and was about to hoof kick Brazeken in the face until Brazeken countered with his tail. In which RedTails double countered with his

now four tails in which the pressure launched them a short distance away from each other.

"So you got your tail color already? I will admit you're a good amount stronger than I expected, finally something to get mind off of Oramo's stupid whin-"

He was cut off when RedTails uppercutted him with his hoof and slammed him back down with his tails. He tried his best to keep him down but Brazeken

quickly broke free. Brazeken sprouted three more tails like RedTails did and created two of those beasts in which he controlled like puppets.

"Attack," Brazeken said. The two beasts lunged forward at RedTails but RedTails grew his fifth and sixth tail and attacked three tails on each. He grabbed each

beast with three tails and slammed them together, making them disappear. But before he could react RedTails was struck in the back by Brazeken.

But instead of being sent flying, RedTails used the momentum of the strike and shifted it to his tail, striking back at Brazeken with the same force.

Brazeken was taken by surprise and was knocked back by the force. RedTails had sprouted his eighth and ninth tails and was starting to slightly lose control of

his actions. Brazeken took notice.

"What's the matter? Feeling a little sick? Here let me help!" Brazeken attacked with ten tails in which RedTails was doing his best to dodge while running

towards Brazeken. RedTails sprouted his tenth tail.

Meanwhile...

Princess Celestia received word that Ponyville was under attack, but this time, by a stallion who was blue and had tails like RedTails! She also received word

that RedTails was fighting the stallion in intense combat. After which more bad news came, BigMacintosh and AppleJack had been seriously injured.

She told the a group of the royal guards to go to Sweet Apple Acres and take AppleJack and BigMacintosh to the hospital as soon as they could . She was

going to go see if she could help RedTails. Meanwhile, AppleBloom, after receiving word that the royal guards were on there way to take AppleJack and BigMac

to the hospital, she was rushing towards Ponyville to help RedTails.

Back in Ponyville...

RedTails had been grabbed by Brazeken's ten tails.

"Grah!" RedTails wasn't crying out in pain because Brazeken was holding him, he was trying to fight back the eleventh tail from sprouting.

"Face the facts colt, you can't fight it back, you and I, we're the same, just let it go and join me," Brazeken said.

RedTails was losing resistance to the eleventh tail each second, he was doing his best to fight back but couldn't keep it up forever and he knew that.

That's when he realized...

"No..." he said.

"What was that?" Brazeken said.

"NO! YOU AND I ARE NOT THE SAME! You're a monster, heartless, and thinks that he can do whatever he wants!"

AppleBloom had arrived on top of a hill that was overlooking Ponyville and the battle scene, and she could hear RedTails shouting loud and clear.

"Me, I may have been like you once, alone, without anyone there, but then I found that I wanted to protect the peace of others, make sure that no one suffered that same fate. But now I have a new purpose..." RedTails looked up.

"To protect Equestria! To protect my new family! To protect AppleBloom!" RedTails was starting to break free and the pendant around his neck was beginning

to glow brightly.

"I fight the eleventh tail and I fight you not to protect myself but to protect others!"

"Why would you bother burdening yourself with all this garbage, down to one of your little friends," Brazeken smirked.

"APPLEBLOOM IS MY VOICE OF REASON! SHE SEPARATES ME FROM MONSTERS LIKE YOU! THAT IT IS WHY I WANT TO PROTECT HER! PROTECT...

ALL!"

The pendant had now given off a great flash, making Brazeken let go of RedTails.

RedTails had transformed, now adult size, wearing crimson armor, the pendant's hexagon gem now on his chestplate, and his tail had grown much longer.

"Wow, flashy, now what exactly do you-" Brazeken took a powerful hoof to the face.

RedTails attacked relentlessly, Brazeken was doing his best to dodge but couldn't keep up. Seeing an opportunity Brazeken tried to attack but then was frozen

in his tracks by a magical aura and was too weak to fight it back. Princess Celestia had flown down.

"That's enough from you," said Princess Celestia. She now looked at the transformed RedTails, speechless.

"This is pitiful even for you Brazeken," said a deep voice that came out of nowhere. Four more of these ponies had appeared. An orange tailed one,

a green tailed one, and purple tailed one(who by the looks of it, was female), and a white tailed one who spoke.

"Get up, we're going." said the white tailed stallion. A pulse was seen from the white stallion that instantly broke Princess Celestia's hold on Brazeken.

"Ugh, fine." said Brazeken.

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" said RedTails a terrifying, booming voice.

"All of you go ahead, i'll be there in a minute," said the white tailed stallion. They all nodded and there tails swirled around them, engulfing them and the other

four disappeared while the white stallion stayed. RedTails readied himself for a fight.

"So many things to learn, RedTails. I can see under all off that ferocity is curiosity. Tell you what, find the answers to the questions you have now, and once

you have, find us, find me, and have that final question answered for you. Until then," he said as his tail engulfed him and he disappeared.

Nothing but silence.

"RedTails?" Princess Celestia asked.

RedTails transformed back to normal, he was severely injured, he passed out and fell to the ground.

"RedTails!" AppleBloom shouted as she came down the hill.

One week later...

RedTails woke up in a familiar looking room, a hospital room. He remembered the fight and what the white stallion said, then everything went black.

He remembered the pendant, sure enough, still around his neck, red now instead of gray.

He stumbled out of bed, it was a bit wobbly to walk but he made his way, until he was about to fall over. But something caught him.

He looked up and saw AppleBloom with smiling with tears streaming down her face, she hugged RedTails.

"Is... the town safe... are you safe?" he asked.

"Yes I am," said AppleBloom softly.

"AppleBloom, I..."

"Don't say anythin, just rest." AppleBloom said.
