Rainbow Dash becomes suspicious of Scootaloo's multiple bruises and other injuries. She always blames them on scooter accidents, but something wasn't adding up. Rainbow had never seen Scootaloo crash even once, yet according to the new bruises that kept springing up, she was crashing two or three times a week. Rainbow takes Scootaloo to see Twilight Sparkle, who, upon examining the bruises, determines that they were caused by human hands. Rainbow Dash adopts Scootaloo, but is the damage already done?

I realize the cover art is of Scootaloo as a pony. However, I am writing with the characters as humans. Pegasi still have wings, and Unicorns still have horns, but they are otherwise human in appearance. I was going to provide pictures of Scootaloo and other characters as humans, but I decided that this is a story and reading is about imagination. Enjoy.
