Father

Twilight Sparkle stared at the monitor in front of her. Her eyes were glued on to it at the information that turned up. Twilight felt an adverse sickening feeling of confusion and sadness. She could not understand nor comprehend the information  that appeared before her. At first, Twilight dismissed the monitor and thought of it as a glitch in the system. Yet, she knew it wouldn't be that easy.

Slowly, but, surely, she came to the realization that Shining Armor was indeed her father, It all made sense now. How Shining was always nice to her and that they barely ever got into any arguments. The fact that he worries about her so much and is so happy to see her when she is gone for a long time. It all made sense to her how he acted in the restaurant so worried about her well being, for his daughter. Twilight was sweating heavily from this revelation and could not move from her metal seat. She only stared and stared until The Science mare came back.

The Science Mare returned from her break and noticed her patient stuck to the monitor like a sentry awaiting any movement whatsoever.

"Your still here? Shouldn't you be at home by now?" said The Science Mare. Her face filled to the brim with worry.

Twilight did not reply she only shook a bit in her hysteria.

"Twilight?"

The Mare noticed how downtrodden her client looked and trotted to her position and put a hoof on her arm. Twilight again did not respond.

"Twilight Sparkle, are you okay?" said The Science Mare. She turned her client around to be greeted by a horrifyingly crazed face. Twilight's mouth was stretched to the very corners of her face and her eyes were wide agape almost to the point where it was painful. The Science Mare, terrified, fell back on to the floor to see her client laugh hysterically at her measure.

The cackle was loud and varying in different pitches with each chortle. It really made The Science Mare terrified. Twilight trotted out of the room while babbling to herself random syllables that made absolutely no sense. The Science Mare clambered up from the ground and went after her client who was trotting down the hallway. She went up to Twilight and grabbed her tumbling them both to the ground.

"Get off!!" screamed Twilight Sparkle. Twilight's horn shined and it made a aura surround her would-be captor. She threw The Science Mare all the way to the bathroom door at the end of the hallway. The Science Mare got up from the ground, her head dizzy from impact to finally call her out.

"Where are you going!?" screamed The Science Mare.

Twilight Sparkle turned around and teleported to The Science Mare where she got real close to her face. She could only freeze in fear at the crazed equine before her. Twilight grabbed her by the chin and pressed it close to her eyes.

"I'm going to visit my daddy!" said Twilight Sparkle. Her teeth grinding on each other from the sheer pressure she was giving them. "Then I'm going to make him happy."

Twilight unclenched the poor mares face and teleported out of sight. The Science Mare took a few moments to process what had happened. She thought that maybe the needle was infected or she may had a mental disease. Yet, she did not act like this beforehoof.

The Science Mare began to investigate and returned to the room with the code Inb4. She looked around until she noticed the monitor and found nothing of concern other than the father and mother listed upon the screen. She surmised that it must have had something to do with the information it displayed, but, could not comprehend what it meant. The Mare stopped looking at the monitor and went to call for help. She picked a a medical phone and called the Royal Canterlot Guard to explain the situation to them.

"It seems my client has gone off the deep end and has disappeared." explained The Science Mare.

"Can you give us specifics to why Twilight Sparkle had ended up like this?" said The Guard.

"Well she came in and took a genetics test to find out more about herself. Then, when I returned from my break she looked downtrodden and from there she went all scary and shit! I nearly pissed myself from this ordeal."

"We understand, but, could you give us a reason she became this way in the first place?"

"All I know is that she was staring at the monitor and it displayed her Mother and Father. I'm not even sure what that even means so...."

Beep Beep Beep Beep

What the hell? Did he just hang up on me?

The Science Mare stared at the phone in disbelief. There was definitely something going on here.

Maybe I shouldn't get into this... But, weres the fun in that? Buck, I don't know what to do...

"Well might as well get to the bottom of things. I've got nothing better to do anyways."

The Science Mare trotted off, grabbed her keys, turned off the lights of the place, and locked the door to the complex. When she turned around after locking the door, she was met with many ponies of The Royal Guard.

"Excuse me Mrs., but, you are going to have to come with us." said One of The Guard.

"Wait! What is the meaning of all this!?" said The Science Mare.

"It's standard protocal in these type of situations..."

"What do you mean standard Protocal? What authorization do you have?"

The Royal Guard smashed his hoof onto her head knocking The Science Mare out. He ordered his men to pick her up and take her away. After doing the deed, That certain Royal Guard trotted past his brothers and sisters to meet with the second in command outside of the complex near the wilderness.

"Is it done?" said The Second in Command.

"Yes, we have the mare and now we just need to get Twilight Sparkle."

"Good, scour the entirety of Ponyville until you find her.. If this gets out it will be a disaster, Now go!"

"Yes, Ma'm!"

The legions of The Royal Guard set off to search for the goddesse's apprentice. They questioned every pony in their homes about Twilight showing pictures and asking if they seen her. The Royal Guard searched high above to see if she was on her air balloon. They searched in The Everfree Forest questioning Zecora as well. They even went to the sewers to find her. They still were all looking in the wrong areas. She was in the most unexpected of places.

Shining was trotting happily to his love at Canterlot Castle and could not wait to share his day with her. He had a bottle of non-alcholic apple cider that he got when he visited Sweet Apple Acres to meet with his good old friend Big Macintosh. Shining couldn't wait to be with his wife and their unborn child. He always felt that being a father was a scary thing to behold, but, now it is definitely something he can look forward to.

Soon he began to reminisce as he climbed up the stairs with his relationship with his mom. He remembered his first time with her when he was in his pre-teens barely even understanding the concept of sex. It was all magical when she gave birth and when his mother told her that it was his, well it had to be kept a secret of course. So he couldn't take care of his daughter and had to treat her like a sister. It was weird and sickening, but, he felt that they bonded and that was enough for him. Shining loved Twilight, her daughter, with all his heart even though he couldn't express it as a father, but, instead as a brother.

Maybe this will be the chance I will get to be an actual father

This thought pleased Shining Armor for even though he could not have Twilight, he would still have another daughter to share his care and love. With that he opened the door to his love in hopes of a better tommorow of fatherdom.

"Cady! I'm home did ya miss me?"

Shining opened the door only to be surprised by the sight he had just seen. He dropped his Apple Cider in reaction breaking it to pieces on the pristine floor.
