Chapters “She’s Awake.” Twilight whispered. The other 5 all stood in amazement that there test subject had awoken. As I starred at the Mane 6 there was something wrong, they did not to be themselves well actually they weren’t themselves at all. They colours were gone, same as me, what could have happened, were they tested on as well nothing makes sense. They are the ones who were to cast the evil away for Equestria for centuries this couldn’t be them, they wouldn’t do something his horrendous. “She seems scared, what should we do?” Fluttershy asked. “Well, we will tell her everything. Loyal is it?” Twilight asked. There was a pause for a moment until Rainbow Dash came floating above my head, “Well Come On, Whats Your Name!” “Rainbow Get Down! We don’t need to scare her any more than what she is now.” Twilight trotted to me and politely asked “Now, Would you please be nice enough to come with us for a moment?” I nodded and started to walk with Twilight. We started to wander up a large corridor until we came to once again to another ordinary wall. Applejack kicked the wall and then something clicked, it must have been some sort of locking mechanism. We now seemed to be in some sort of room which had many books on dark magic and many mysterious and magical items which I had never seen or even heard of before. As I travelled down with the others I could not help myself but to stare at all the strange things that were in this room. There was a bird of fire and something which seemed to look like an alicorn. As we ventured forward we came to once again another dead end only to have book cases surrounding us. Twilight stopped us as she stepped up to the bookcase. She looked around until she found a book which was large in size and also seemed to be heavy. She cranked the book back, ticks and dongs went off all around me. “Hang on!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed. Suddenly we fell through the ceiling into an abyss. It seemed to be like we were falling into nothing, until we came to a blackhole. My heart was pounding like 1000 hooves were running over my chest. I couldn’t tell what the others reactions were, because I was too scared to even open my eyes. As we came to the blackhole we went around and around, it seemed to go on forever, spiralling and falling, it would probably make a great Chunder Thunder. We came to the center of the blackhole and we stopped. What happened I don’t know but all I knew something was going to wrong.
“We’re here!” I opened my eyes, everything around me was a blur. I managed to get my vision back and we were in Twilight’s Library. Everything seemed to be usual, nothing bizarre but we still did not have our colours. We still were lifeless souls and my cutiemark still hasn’t come back. “Can you please come up stairs with me, I will explained what has happened.” I gladly followed her outside. We started to wander around ponyville, Twilight started to explain “Okay, now, something tragic has happened something which has changed all of Equestria. Trixie has returned! She wants to destroy all the magic, and she has done this with the Cloak of Lost Souls. She has stolen the souls of all who have tried to stop her, leaving them like this.” “But how does this have to do with me, last I remember I was cantering away from a monstrous beast.” “Ahh, that would have been one of her servants called ‘Corruptors’ they are retched beast and they destroy anything in their path.” “But this still doesn’t explain how I got to be locked in that room or even where the hoof I was.” “All of that will be explained in good time, so don’t worry,” “But I need to know now! If I going to be able to do something!” “But you can’t,” “What do you mean I can’t!” “If you had allowed me to finish! I was going to say that you can’t stop her by yourself. There is one other who seeks to achieve the same goal as you.” “Who is this?” “She goes by the name Golden Spirit.”
“Whooooo!” Eire sounds coming from all nooks and crannies yet nothing seems to be there. *Scatter* *Scatter* “Huh? Umm… is someone there?” I looked around seeing if there was a shadow or something that resembled a pony. “Hello... hello… hello?” I couldn’t see anything, willows were scattered everywhere through these woods and there is no chance of seeing anything past them. For all I know they could be just in front of me and I wouldn’t know it. I decided to toughen it out and move ahead, reaching for the one who they call Golden Spirit.
I trotted along a windy path hoping for it to lead me somewhere, as I came further and further down the path the trail seemed to get smaller and smaller. “I am going in the right direction?” I whispered to myself. A voiced trailed along the winds, it seemed to becoming somewhere further along this path. “Coomme… Coommmeee… here you will find what you seek…” Were these just voices in my head or was someone really talking to me. It gave me shivers at the thought but somehow this voice was very persuasive and I just had to go to it. “Coommeee… come loyal, I will give you your colours back… hurry!” No it couldn’t be Trixie, why would she be here in this Celestia forsaken place. Although if it was her I could try and destroy her and take back what is rightfully mine. I cantered towards the voice chasing and chasing until he path had ended. I entered a clearing with a border of trees surrounding me. I could see a mountain in the horizon and there seemed to be a huge storm attacking it. The mountain caps gleemed with light while the sun just penetrating through the storm. “Wouldn’t it be a wonderful sight to just stand up there and admire the sight? Oh the Wonders…” I couldn’t think about this for the situation I was in now. I walked around for a while trying to see why the path would end here. Maybe it could have been a ritual sight for all the necromancers to respect the gods of Equestria or maybe it was a place where battles were wagered and soul demons killing everything in sight. It could be anything, but of course there was no time to imagine things like this right now I could scare myself.
*Snap* “Who’s there!” “Ahh.. no one. No one is here that’s who.” said a squeaky voice coming from the bushes. “I wouldn’t be having this conversation if you weren’t here.” “Exactly! I’m not here your imagining things!” said the squeaky voice again. I suppose I could be imagining it, I have been hearing a lot of things in this forest lately so it wouldn’t surprise if I was hearing things. “So if you really aren’t here, why are you talking to me then?” “Ahh… your… umm… ahh crap!” “Ok, so who are you really?” “I can’t say, now please leave, your on my turf.” “Oh, sorry. I will be heading off then.” “It would be most wise.” “Soo… bye…” “Bye.” I started to walk down the path like I was going to leave. I travelled 10 or so metres down the path until. I zapped the bushes and lifted out the voice who was talking to me. “Ahh! Don’t hurt me please! I have a family!” “Oh silly I won’t hurt you. Unless You Don’t Tell Me Who You Are For The 10th Time!” The little animal of some sort was scouring in his boots and was well speechless for quite some time. “Well Come on I Haven’t Got all Day!” “I… I am Al-mi’raj, protector of all life and plants.” “You! The protector of all life and plants! Buhahaha…! Don’t make me laugh!” “But it’s true! Many creatures fear me throughout this forest! I am a very scary creature you know.” “You scary! Hah I bet you couldn’t even scare a fly.” “I bet I can scare you.” “Try me…” “Ok… But I’m warning you, I will haunt you in your nightmares for the rest of eternity.” “That’s if you even scare me.” “Ok here we go…” He took his stance, readied himself to scare me with what he had. The little bunny with that measly little horn couldn’t do anything that scary to someone of the like of me. His horn started to sparkle, releasing the energy within him, charging and charging with more power. Black zaps of light emitted from it zooming everywhere around me. Things started to change around me, plants started to wither and trees started to rot, everything around me started to die. The sky started to vanish under a thick layer of clouds allowing only the slightest light through. How could something this small do so much devastation, a cute little bunny destroying life with a flash of his horn? “Scared yet?” “N…n…nn…ooo. Wh..y ww..ould I be sc…cc…ared.” “Hmph, sure you’re not, so since you are not scared yet how about I ramp it up a notch.” “S…ure, give me all you got.” His horn raged with more power, more than I had ever seen in all my time around Equestria. The power it was pulsing and flashing as it grew and grew. *Zap* The energy flushed out of him, the energy was forced towards me penetrating my body. My mind was blank, I had neither emotions nor feelings, and my body was motionless. My eyes were black as the night sky, no soul to read, no life left. I collapsed falling to the ground with a *Thud*. I was a dummy and my body was rendered useless. I laid there only and the thing going through my mind were nightmares.
Chapter 5 - The Outcoming
“Hey mummy, mummy! Look a Shooting Star!” a little filly screamed from his window. The shooting star was the saviour of many dreams and hopes, in these dark times hope can once again be spread around Equestria. This star could be the hope that all ponies needed, the colours from the land were gradually draining away into a lifeless wasteland. Many eyes gleamed around, all staring at the tanderful colours that were streaming through the sky. Greens, blues, red and then the centre of it all was a ball of golden light. It had looked like the sun had come towards the earth, as it grew and grew a sudden explosion emerged from it. A massive wave burst from the globe and pushed all of the colours away from the sky. No one had ever seen colours like this since Rainbow Dash performed her Rainboom. There had been no glorious bursts of colour since Rainbow Dash lost her soul. Although all things had to come to an end, the sky was once again clear. This was an event that no one had ever seen before, it was a first for Equestria, nothing like this has ever been recorded in the history of the land. To many, it was a beacon that light had come back to the land and darkness could be ridden. But nothing had yet changed, although the spirits within the people had lifted and smile and appeared on the ponies faces. Joy was brought around Equestria, hope could once again be possible and land might come back to it’s original form.
Rarity came crashing into Twilights Library, she was clumsy due to the energy she had left. “Twilight did you see it! It was wonderful! So many colours!” Twilight was up on her balcony staring into the night sky, she was mumbling a few words but they weren’t possible to make out. “Twilight are you ok dear?” She still was mumbling, making no attention towards Rarity. Rarity moved up beside Twilight and sat down. “Twilight what is it?” Rarity questioned. “It’s here.” Twilight whispered. “Sorry dear, you have to speak up I can’t understand you.” Rarity replied. “It’s.. here.” Just a little louder this time. Rarity looked at Twilight, she seemed to not taking any attention towards Rarity. “Darling are you…” Twilight ran inside, not allowing Rarity to finish her sentence. Rarity was gobsmacked, Twilight ignoring her like that. “Twilight, please do tell me what’s going on!” Rarity was demanding Twilight to give her an answer. “It’s Here…! It’s Here..! It’s Here!” “Twilight what’s here!” “She’s here!” “Oh well then, Who’s here?” “Golden Spirit! She has arrived!” “Who’s Golden Spirit, please tell me who this is!” “The hope! The saviour for this land, the one who can save us all!” “But aren’t we that pony, we have saved the land from the dangers for years now.” “No, they have become too powerful for us now, they have found a way to overcome us.” “Well who has?” Twilight started to ignore her while she started to scramble through a pile of books. “What are you looking for?” “The book!” “What book! Look Twilight I really don’t like these guessing games, you know that I’m, oofff!” Twilight jammed a book into Rarity’s chest. “Ow darling, that hurt.” “Look!” Rarity started to flip the pages looking at the pages and admiring the pictures in them. “What am I supposed to be looking for?” “The Cloak of Lost Souls.” “…and this looks like?” “You’ll know when you see it.” Rarity started to look at all the magical artifacts that were in the book all the amulets, rings, crowns and all things magical. “Oooo… that would look so good with my new summer gown!” She reached the crown section, there were crowns made from solid gold and crested with fabulous gems. “Rarity there is not time to look at jewellery!” “Well sorry, but they are so pretty. Oh hey look at this one! It has a ruby in a shape of a star.” Rarity could have looked in this book for days and would wish she had all them to wear. “Ah-ha! I think I’ve found it!” “Show me! Show me!” Rarity looked at the page Twilight was pointing at. “Eeww! You would never see me dead in that!” “You will be dead if we don’t get rid of it.” “What! I have so much to live for, I have to care for itty bitty Sweetie belle and make more dresses it’s too soon!” “Rarity CALM DOWN!” “Sorry Twilight it’s too big to stop thinking about. Hey wait a sec, this all sounds familiar. Hasn’t this got to do with you sending Loyal Eclipse on that quest you asked her to go on.” “Yes, that one exactly.” “So why are we searching up what we already know?” “Because Rarity, this book has a informate-coralicus-rautfluine memory which allow the book to change if something different is foretold.” “I’m lost at the inthomat- corea thingy.” “Ok let me simplify it for you, hmm… A magic book.” “Oh! Ok that makes perfect sense now.” “What a surprise.” Twilight mumbled to herself. “What was that twilight?” “Oh don’t worry just talking to myself.” “Oh ok dear. So anyway, haven’t you already read this anyway?” “Yes but when I read it, it had only mentioned about the comet falling to the earth.” “But it didn’t.” “Well it did, but you wouldn’t have seen it because you were watching the colours.” “Oooo… yes they were such beautiful colours.” “Well I was watching where it had landed, it landed in the Everfree forest.” “So, didn’t your book say it was going to be fine.” “Well it did but now it’s saying that Loyal Eclipse has disappeared.” “You’re not saying that she may be you know… dead?” “Well I certainly hope not, but according to this, then yes.” “Oh no, poor Loyal!” They stared down at the ground for a moment remembering about the brave soul who was to rid the world of this evil. “I think there may still be hope though.” “But how, you said that she had died wasn’t she our only hope?” “No, she was going to look for hope, the one called Golden Spirit, the one who came from the skies.” “So your saying we have to go out and look for Golden Spirit which Loyal Eclipse was supposed to do, which she is now gone.” “Yeah pretty much.” “Oh god, I hate going into the forest, all the icky plants and the spooky animals.” “I’m afraid we might be the only ones to find her.” Rarity sighed, “Fine just let me get my gumboots while you go and round up the others.” “Yeah sounds like a good idea. See you at the entrance of Everfree Forest.” “See you there.” Rarity left out the door towards her house, she seemed to be cursing some language and flipping her head a lot.
Chapter 6 - The Rude Awakening
“Do you think she’s alive?” A little girl rabbit said. She started to poke it with a twig she had found lying beside her. “Stop it darling, you don’t want to anger it!” pulling away the little rabbit from me. “Hmm… she should be nearly awake from about… now!” Al-mi’raj shouted. He then grabbed a bowl of water and splashed it across my body. I didn’t want to wake up, I was having a pleasant sleep so I squirmed and then fell asleep again. “Ekisha, wiggle your nose up her ear see if she will wake up again.” “Ok Daddy!” she giggled. She creaped up near me and placed her nose in my ear. It tickles and my ear twitched, I couldn’t help but laugh as the little whiskers from the little rabbits nose touched my ear. “Awake yet?” Al-mi’raj asked me. “No.” I rolled away from them trying to ignore them. “Ekisha how about this time you do it in her nose.” “Ok!” she giggled once again. “No please don’t! I will wake up just give me a second!” I exclaimed. “Do it just in case” Al-mi’raj told Ekisha. She came up to the otherside of me and tickled my nose, I had no way of stopping it and I needed to sneeze. “Stop! Stop! I surrender!” “Will you wake up this time?” “Yes, jus.. jus.. stop…” I sneezed I couldn’t hold it in. The sneeze was ear shattering and the little girl in front of me got quite a scare. Ekisha ran inside into her mum’s comfort. “Great, now I’m going to have a blocked nose all day thanks to you.” “Well it was no problem, glad to of helped you.” “You know I don’t really like your sarcasm.” “Do you want your lights out again?” “No… But still I don’t like it.” “I still don’t like you coming onto my land.” “Ok, look I am looking for someone.” “Don’t tell me, tell me when we get somewhere private.” “Ok then, lead the way.” I got up from the ground and started to follow Al-mi’raj to wherever he was leading me.
We reached a giant Oak tree. It seemed to have some mythical presence about it, like it was the life of this forest. It stood over us like a mountain, it was grand and lush green, it stood out in this forest, since the forest was all dark and spooky. Somehow you didn’t have that feel here, you felt safe and secure, if was like there was a wall guarding us from all the spooky forces from the forest. As we reached the trunk of the tree Al-mi’raj gestured for me to stand back.
“Wow…” I gasped, with utter amazement. Branches twisted and bent, the trunk creaking and groaning. Branches came from every direction, swooping down onto us, it seemed to of been making something, it kind of looked like stairs but I wasn’t sure as of yet. “Woah!” I screamed as the branch fell in front me, right where I once stood. “Close call, don’t ya’ think?” “Oh you haven’t even got the worst of it, in fact I would start running.” “Why…” Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a branch swooping right towards us. “Stay still…” Al-mi’raj implied. “Wait, what, no way I’m out of… Woah…hooooo!” I was swooped up by the branch, lying on my back screaming high into the sky. “This is so Fun!” Al-mi’raj was just beside me acting like he has done it all the time and somehow not even being pushed by the force behind us. My body lingered deeper into the branch like a squirrel burrowing into a bush. “Weeee!” “Fillies…” Al-mi’raj mumbled with a sarcastic tone. “Put your hands up it more fun this way!” Of course he wasn’t listening he just stood there stern and sturdy. Who would know how he did it but fun was more important at the moment. We were swaying side to side like if we were on a rollercoaster. We were being thrown in all directions yet I was still being pushed back into the branch. The joy it brung just made me feel like a filly all over again and it brought happiness into my eyes. I remembered the day at my first theme park, the fun I had with all the other fillies. What I would do to have such fun again. But of course I was on a mission and that mission was to stop Trixie and her soul snatching. Although the heat of the moment was this, who would care if the world was taken over, I was having so much fun! Then suddenly I felt something, a tingly feeling coming from my tail. I looked over to see what it was, my colours were coming back. The joy I was having must have been affecting my soul within, maybe it was because of the memories I had when I was a filly maybe it had some sort of effect. I started to think of memories I had as a filly, imaging the times I had with Mom and Dad. Although something seemed wrong, they didn’t feel real. They felt like they never happened. Was this possible, why couldn’t I remember my parents. The colour disappeared again, leaving me tone black and white. “Hphm…” The ride was nearly over it seemed, it started to slow down heading towards a hollow in the trunk. “Aww.. that was so fun! Can we go again?” “Why sure just let me know how you plan to get down.” “Umm… fly, oh right I can’t.” Al-mi’raj laughed with a tone that said ‘Told you so.’ I couldn’t be bothered to make a comeback, I just wanted to find out what was in store inside.
Chapter 7 - What time is it?
“Well is everyone here?” Rarity asked. “Yep all hear and ready to go.” Twilight answered. “So wait why exactly did you need us to go into the forest?” Rainbow Dash questioned. “Well, we need to find a pony who fell out of the sky.” “Wait, so you are saying that the light show in the sky was a Pony! Cool!” “Rainbow Dash, it’s not cool, it’s serious, the pony could be in quite some danger.” “Why should I care, she hasn’t done anything for me.” “Hey now Rainbow, don’t ya’ know we should be assistin’ all the ponies of this fine Equestria.” Applejack butted in. Rainbow Dash moaned, not liking the idea that she had to do something she didn’t want to do. “Fine but as long as I don’t come across anymore of those strange flowers then I’m fine with it.” “That should be no problem, I read all about it in my new book I got from Zecora!” All of them laughed at the funny face Twilight made as she brought the book up to her face. Twilight gloomed with disappointment as the others laughed, “Sorry Twilight but that face, it was so funny!” “Yeah yeah… hey wait isn’t someone missing. Where’s Fluttershy, I know I brought her here?” The grouped looked around to try and find Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash turned around and saw a bright pink, curly tail. “Umm… Twilight, rocks don’t have tails correct?” “Yes that’s correct!” “Well I think I may have found one.” Rainbow Dash flies over towards the rock cackling to herself. “I think I am going to call it Flutterock.” Rainbow Dash lifted Fluttershy off the ground and back to the group. “Please… don’t take me in there with you. You know how m..much I hate it in there…” “Sorry Fluttershy but you just have to be brave once again.” Twilight told her with her confident voice. “Yeah! You just need to toughen up Fluttershy! You need to be a confident flyer! One like me!” Rainbow Dash said with a mass amount of confidence. “Look ponies, we need to save Golden Spirit! I don’t think my servant can do it!” Twilight said. “Did you just say servant!” They all screamed. “Umm… no I said, yes I said friend.” “Hmm… ok Twilight I believe you, but honestly darling can we just get this over and done with, this forest is giving me the creaps!” Rarity answered.
They travelled through the forest for many miles following the golden glow that gleamed through the trees. “Pinkie, you have been quiet lately.” Twilight asked “I have some SPOOKY vibes Twilight, something doesn’t seem right to me!” “Pinkie don’t tell me this is your Pinkie sense again.” “No twilight, this is something completely different! Something Spooky!” “Pinkie don’t speak nonsense, you know that you always sense things.” “But this one seems different.” “No matter we will keep going onwards.” “I’m warning you Twilight I sense something ahead.” They travelled on for hours again. The forest got darker and spookier the more they ventured into it, trees creaked and moaned as if they were trying to warn us about something. The ambience of the forest gave the six goosebumbs all over their bodies, a bone chilling feeling ran over all of them. Fluttershy walked anxiously getting spooked by every noise she heard, Rainbow Dash however was hiding her fear looking confident and ready for anything. Although her eyes said different, her eyes were jolting all around the forest looking for what was the source of the strange noises. The others noticed as well but did not care, as they knew that she was only trying to be the strongest there.
They walked through Everfree Forest for a few hours, the golden glow grew brighter as they ventured closer. Rainbow Dash decided to break the silence which was around them during the trip, “I think we are nearly there, it seems awfully bright right now.” Twilight responded with her teeth still chattering, “I think you may be right, could possibly be a few more metres.” “What do you expect to find there?” rarity included. “Well Golden Spirit hopefully but other than that I don’t know.” “Would there be monsters?” Fluttershy said while cowering behind her mane. “No silly, why would there be monsters. That’s just preposterous, monsters, Hah!” Although in the back of Twilight’s mind there was a thought of there being a chance of being a monster there. “Anyway, we can stop it, we have the Elements of Harmony!” “Ahh… Twilight?” Applejack questioned. “Huh… oh shoot I knew I forgot something! How could I leave them behind, I am always so organised!” “Oh don’t blame it on yourself darln’, we expect no more from you.” “What do you mean by that? You think I forget everything!” The others all looked to the ground and scraped their hooves, “Well…” “Oh great all of you think I am a forgetful clut!” “Twilight please calm down, we all have some things we aren’t good at, like I’m not very good at public speakin’.” Applejack tried to calm Twilight Sparkle down but she was already too enraged by all the stress she was under. All was quiet once again and they started to venture closer and closer to the golden glow.
“I think we are here!”
Chapter 8 - The History of Everfree Forest
“Woahh… what is this place,” Loyal asked. “It’s the Hollowed Oak.” “Why do they call it that?” “I thought you were smart?” “I am! But why is it called the Hollowed Oak.” “Because it’s haunted…” Al-mi’raj said with a smirk on his face. Loyal quickly scurried behind the little bunny trying to hide from the spookiness in the tree. “Ah… you can go in first.” “With pleasure!” As they entered the hollowed oak Loyal quickly came to forget about it being haunted and was amazed of how beautiful the interiors looked. Loyal gasped at all the magnificent decorations on the ceilings and the carvings on the walls. The carvings were spread across the whole wall of the oak, they seemed to show ponies farming. “What are the carvings about?” Loyal wondered. “They show the history of this forest.” “What Everfree?” “Yep! They tell how the forest came to be.” “Wow that’s amazing!”
The walled was covered in sketches and carvings of the history of the forest from the very beginning to even to the very end. Loyal stared at one section of the wall and looked at what was happening, engravings that seemed to show ponies living in the forest. Loyal wondered if ponies really did live in the forest and if so what happened. But then she noticed that something about the forest seemed different, it was full of happiness. Flowers bloomed and the sun had gleamed through the slits of the tree tops. Ponies were prancing and dancing with little fillies amazed with the wildlife. Was life really like this, did it bring such happiness? What happened? Loyal needed to know. “Al-mi’raj what happened to the forest, it was full of live but now it’s gloomy and spooky?” Al-mi’raj was surprised that Loyal did not know about the phenomenon. “You were never told about Star Swirl the Bearded?” Loyal was unsure who Star Swirl was, but he did vaguely remember that Twilight dress as someone like that name at Nightmare Night. “Is he the pony who wore that ugly dress thingy?” “Yes the one with the ‘Weird dress thingy!’ Mind you he was one of the most powerful wizard ponies there are to be known to pony! He made the amniomorphic spell and developed more than 200 spells!” Stunned by the aggression he gave towards Loyal, he was lost for words, not knowing of one of the most powerful ponies in Equestria. “Well still, it doesn’t answer my question, what happened?” “Loneliness.” “Loneliness, how does that got to do with anything. Plus wouldn’t he be one of the most popular ponies out there?” “Well not quite so much! He was outlawed as an evil sorcerer, he was rejected. Dangerous to those near him, potentially able to ‘change them.’” “So wait your saying the town left him to defend for himself?” “Yep, had nowhere to go. Although he seeked revenge for those who wanted him gone. And that let him to tempering with dark magic, causing un-natural things to occur.” “And let me guess he used dark magic to destroy the forest.” “Ahh… no, not initially he only wanted the ponies gone, but of course dark magic is uncontrollable, even in the most masterful hands like Star Swirl himself. Saying that, he did attack the village, but the power grew out of his control being released in a massive burst of magic causing a curse on all who entered the forest.” “The forest was cursed?.” “Well yes, even the creatures within it, they mutated into malicious creatures and the tree grew weary and dull.” “But what happened to the ponies in the village?” “Well you can see that for yourself.” Loyal looked down the wall looking for what he mentioned. As he studied the wall he saw something horrifying, it was the destruction of the village. Buildings were blustered with mould and disgusting critters, roof thatch was caving in and windows were masked with a thick layer of dirt. “And of the ponies?” Loyal asked, as he studied the carving even more. Al-mi’raj was silent for a brief moment as he too was thinking about the past. “Some changed to animals, others became monsters, or today they are now called legends.” “You mean like the Headless Mare.” “Ah huh…” “The ones who came animals, what happened to them?” Al-mi’raj sighed for a moment as a tear shed from his eye. He was too depressed at the moment to reply back to Loyal’s question. “Well… what happened?” Loyal was gazing at Al-mi’raj to see why he wasn’t answering. Then he noticed his face was towards the ground and wasn’t showing much happiness as he showed when we first entered. “Al-mi’raj are you alright? Al-mi’raj, come on bud talk to me.” “I don’t feel like it right now, just a few memories have come back to me.” “Like what? Come on you can trust me if it’s something personal it’s fine with me. It won’t alter how I look at you now.” “And how’s that?” “A cute Bunny!” “Well that’s comforting!” Al-mi’raj had a smile come back to his face. “See look! Now your smiling!” “No I’m not!” “Oh yes you are you cooty wooty bunny.” Loyal giggled as he gave the baby tone to him. “I am not cute!” “Oh yes you are! Look! Your itty bitty ears and you fuzzy wuzzy nose! It’s just utter adorableness!” “May I remind you who knocked you out back in the forest?” Al-mi’raj yelled in his angered tone towards Loyal. “Okay, Okay! I’ll stop for you…” agreement went between them. “…you itty witty bunny.” Al-mi’raj was angry now, but he knew that Loyal had done nothing wrong as he knew the fact that he was cute, but he didn’t want to admit it.
Chapter 1 - The Revealment
I reach to my last breath, my vision weary and I could not bear the weight of my own body. I lay there motionless not a sign of life left in me. As I started to fade into the darkness I heard a sound, a sound of something galloping towards me. It was too late I had already passed out not to wake up any longer.
I moaned as I stared into the distant light ahead of me. “Wha… What happened?” I starred around the room trying to bring together of what seemed to be a laboratory full of weird contraptions and deadly poisons. The ground as cold as a glistening ice and the walls were sheets of metal which appeared to strong enough to contain some sort of, monster. As I sat up off the ground I looked down at my hooves, they were not the usual orange colour they used to be instead they were a pale grey like there was no colour left. I gazed around trying to look for some sort of mirror, scrounging through years of work which looked to have been done by some of the greatest minds in Equestria. As I neared the bottom I managed to find a piece of glass which was broken in many pieces even though it still did the trick. As I stared into the glass I had seen something which I wished I had never seen. “My skin is it’s... it’s white. Where’s my colourful skin full of oranges and reds? It can’t be happening!”
My body was lifeless, no colour in my mane no soul in my eyes. They were as dark as the tiniest corner of a room which no one ever cares about. I had forgot one thing though, the thing which made each and everypony unique. My Cutiemark, it was gone, I had a blank flank, nothing left expect my lifeless skin. I fell to the ground hind legs apart and my front two out to the sides. I had nothing, no life, no friends and now no me. What had come of me, where did it all go and the most importantly how did I get here.
I wandered around the room trying to find an answer but, to no avail. They had to have some sort of information of what happened or even If I could just find a way out. Who would bring me here and take everything which made me, why would someone want me anyway? Nothing made sense, but all I could do now was too stay here and hope for something to happen.
A few days passed by, I grew more scared by the day as of what might happen to me, it made me anguish of the possible outcomes that could happen at any moment. Then there it was, a sound, so faint that if you weren’t paying attention you wouldn’t have heard it. I headed towards where I thought I heard it. I leant my ear on the wall where the sound seemed to appear. It sounded like a voice but I couldn’t make how many there is. The voices were coming closer and closer, louder and louder. The wall in which I was listening through split open and the voices I heard came in. There were 6 ponies surrounding me. Then one of them spoke.
Chapter 3 - Golden Spirit
“So where do I find this Golden Spirit.” “Look for the light which soars through the sky but only at night.” “So, a Shooting Star” “Yes a shooting star, can’t you at least try and make it sound mystical and unknowing, not just ‘a Shooting Star’ yeesh!” “Ok then I sorry anyway… where am I most likely going to find the shooting star? “Well that’s for you to find out.” “You just don’t give me a break now do you?” “Nope!” “You know what sometimes I honestly hate you!” Twilight didn’t respond as I looked around I see Twilight backing away from me saying, “Beware! Beware! Bewareeeee!” “I can still see you!” “No you can’t I am a figment of your imagination!” “Right…” I watched Twilight as she bolted away out of my vision. I muttered to myself, “Seriously she needs to get out more often and stop watching TV.”
It came night, all seemed to be what it was before, nothing different. So where was I supposed to find Golden Spirit. I came to a meadow, the plains where as far as the eye could see and the mountains had snow caps all over them. The sky was as purple as Twilights mane and the sky was filled with the stars of imagination. The moon was bright and bold and it glimmered and twinkled with all the stars. Something seemed familiar about this view, I just couldn’t put my hoof on it. Déjà vu some called it, but it didn’t feel like it. I layed down for a while starring at the bright night sky. The stars twinkled in a pattern and it went on for quite a while. I traced them like dot to dots from one to another. Time seemed to pass quite quickly and it became very late at night. Nothing had happen until that moment. A shooting star came crashing down to the earth very close to where I was. It landed somewhere in the middle of the Everfree Forest. Ponies say to never enter the forest alone but I had to if this is what Twilight wanted me to seek. I cantered as fast as my hooves could make me go, as I came to the entrance there was signs littered everywhere all warning me not to enter.
