After an argument, Noteworthy decides to take his love, Octavia, for a drive in the car to try and figure out a way to make things better. However, they continue to argue, and Noteworthy loses control in the car, landing them in a ditch after a few flips off the highway from Ponyville to Canterlot. Octavia is critically injured in the seat beside him while she was still mad at him. Noteworthy wonders in his mind how did things all go wrong, and he begs and pleads that Octavia will survive the accident.

This story was inspired by the song Innocence by The Airborne Toxic Event, one of the most beautiful and passionate songs ever performed in my opinion. This story is in the first person as narrated by Noteworthy. In this story the ponies have mostly modern technology, so it is a bit of an alternate universe, but takes place at the same time of the show.
