What happens next?

You and Twilight just sit there silently. You look around the room, and spot the large bookshelves with a seemingly endless amount of books. Twilight just sits there, and it looks like she is studying you.

Finally you get up, and you cause Twilight to flinch as your body grew over her. You walk over to a book shelf, any book shelf. You get to the book shelf, and examine the books on it. You look back at Twilight, and she stares at you. You return your attention to the books.

You take out the book directly in front of you, and look at the cover. The title read "Potions and Crystals Vol. 73." You open the book, and what you saw caught you by surprise.

The words inside the book were unrecognizable. They weren't in English, but they did have pictures. On the left side, it had a picture of a ruby like rock. On the right, there was the weird writings.

~What do you think it says?~

-That ruby is a "love gem." It holds the secret to being a successful lover. One you wields it will have control over there true loves heart.-

The answer I gave you caught you offgaurd.

~You can read this?~

-No. I just looked at the picture, and made up my own story.-

You face palm at my stupid remark, causing Twilight to flinch a bit.

-Hey I just remembered. You don't know the "little dragons" name.-

~Yes I do. It's Spike.~

-Yes I know. What I mean to say is; you're not supposed to know. Ask her what it is, so that you can use it without raising suspicion.-

You turn back at Twilight, still holding the book in your arms.

"Hey Twilight, a little dragon opened the door. What's his name?" You ask.

"Oh him? It's Spike." Twilight says, looking around as if she's expecting an ambush.

"Ok. Thanks." You thank with a smile. You return back to the book in your grasp. You stare at the weird words for a while.

~Well now I know I can't read pony books. But why was the title English?~

-Maybe this particular book is from some other country. Try another one.-

You put the book back, and look for another one. You scoot two steps over to the right, and grab another one. This one read "Magic and You Vol. 34." You open the book, and to your relief, it's in English.

~This one is in English.~

-The other book must've been from some other place in Equestria.-

You put the book back, and turn back to Twilight.

"So... I can assume you're a librarian?" You say looking around the library.

"Yes. I uh... like to read." She says with a weak smile. You sit back down on the seat you started on.

"I can see that. The rows of books are endless!" You chuckle after you say that. She nervously lets out a little laugh as well.

"Yeah. Sometimes my friends call me am egghead." She points out, with a nervous smile.

~I'm gaining her trust!~

-Don't tell me about it. Keep going!-

"An egghead? Your head looks pretty normal to me." You say with a smile.

-Argh! The cheesiness! It burns!-

She lets out a comfortable laugh, and you see that she is getting used to you.

"And to think Spike said you were going to 'eat me'" she states, with a little laugh.

"He said 'that'?" You ask with a chuckle, "Kids these days, they'll believe anything."

Finally, you have befriended Twilight. It's a good thing too, any more silence, and I would've flipped.

Suddenly, the door opens. Looks like the others have arrived, as well as Spike. Both you and Twilight look over to the opening door.

"Well. My friends are here. I'll introduce yo-" Twilight is interrupted when a particular cyan pegasus tackles you to the ground.

"What's this I here about you trying to eat my friends!?" It's Rainbow Dash. You recognize the rainbow mane, and the cyan coat.

"What!? That's nonsense! Who told you I tried to ea-" You stop yourself, as you already figured it out. You look over to Spike, who is cowering behind the four others, and they all looked mad. Even Pinkie Pie! The party pony extraordinaire is also there with a angry look on her face.Twilight got off her seat and walked over to Rainbow Dash.

"Rainbow Dash, let him go! He's harmless." Twilight assured her.

"No way! I am not letting him eat anypony!" Rainbow Dash eyes look menacing, as if she could kill.

"I'm not going to eat anyone! Let me go!" You struggle as you can't break free from Rainbow Dash's grip.

"It's not going to eat anypony. If he did, don't you think he would've already eaten me?" Twilight points out.

Rainbow Dash looks down on you. After a while, she lets you go.

"Alright fine. But I still don't trust him." Rainbow Dash says, as she walks away from you. You get up, dusting yourself off.

"Thank you. I appreciate your help Twilight." You say as you swipe the remaining hints of dust off your arm.

"Your welcome. Girls, this is- um" Twilight pauses, and looks over to you.

"Michael." You say, placing your hands on your hips.

"Michael." She returns her vision to her friends. "He is completely harmless." The angry looks of her friends fade from angry to puzzled. Finally, their faces give in to bright smiles. Except for Rainbow Dash, she is still shooting daggers into you.

"Michael, this is Rarity." Twilight says pointing a hoof over to the white unicorn.

-Oh yeah that's nice. Start with the worst pony.-

~You don't like her?~

-Meh. She's ok, but she can give a bit of unnecessary attitude , don't you think?-

~I guess that's true.~

Rarity takes a step forward, and sticks out a hoof. You grab her hoof, and gently shake it. Trying to act as formal as possible for Rarity.

"It is with upmost pleasure to make your divine acquaintance." You greet as you take a small bow.

"Ooh! What a gentlecolt! I do believe we will be good friends." Rarity says, before backing away back into the others.

"Next is Applejack." Twilight says, and Applejack walks forward.

-Ah, the cowpony. A mare with a taste of nothing but apples.-

"Well howdy partner! Mighty sorry for the ruckus Rainbow made. Hehe." She sticks out a hoof, and you grab it. You might have expected it, but it caught you by surprise anyway. She shook your hand violently, like she was trying to pop a soda bottle.

"Nice to meet you!" You say. Then she backs away, back into the group of five.

"It's ok Fluttershy. He won't hurt you." Twilight beckoned the frightened yellow pegasus. Funny, first she was mad at you for 'trying to eat her friends', but now that your (kinda) proven harmless, she won't even come close to you.

"This is Fluttershy." She says, and the other four push Fluttershy towards you.

-Fluttershy, the pony scared of her own shadow. I mean c'mon! Who gets scared of their own shadow!? That's ridiculous! But then again, this is Fluttershy.-

She lowers herself from you, obviously scared. You try to make your approach as gently as possible.

"Hey there Fluttershy. Don't worry I won't hurt you." You say as you squat down to make yourself look not so big and scary.

Fluttershy lets out a subtle screech of terror, and retracts her body away. You put one hand in front of her, and give a heartwarming smile to her. She stares at your hand for a while, and then looks over to Twilight. Twilight cocks her head over to your hand, and Fluttershy looks back at it.

Fluttershy shuts her eyes, and slowly (eventually) puts her hoof on your hand. Once her hoof is on your hand, you very gently shake it. Fluttershy opens on eye, and sees your gentle acts of carefulness. You can see that this is working, because she is rising up closer to you.

"Glad to be your friend." You say with a smile. She returns the smile, and gets up. You let go of her hoof. Fluttershy then backs away from you, back into the group.

"Next we have Pinkie Pie." Twilight says.

"Nice to meet you Pi-" You are interrupted when the party pony hug-tackles you (Is that a word? Hug-tackle. Too bad, it is now). You gasp for air as she squeezes the life out of you.

"Welcome to Ponyville!" She starts screaming. "Sorry I thought you were a big meanie face, and for thinking you were going to eat Twilight! I thought you were a monster! And I'm sooooooo sorry!" She tightens her grip every time she paused in a sentence.

"Pinkie... Pie... It's... Ok... I... Can't... Breathe!" You desperately call out, hoping she would move. She lets go, and you try to get as much air back in you as possible.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so so so so sooooooo sorry!" She apologizes while you breathe frantically.

"It's fine Pinkie. Just try not to kill me next time." You say before a chuckle.

-I honestly have no comment on Pinkie.-

"Okie dokie lokie!" She says, and bounces her way back to the little group.

"And last, Rainbow Dash. Which I guess you two have already met." Twilight says.

Rainbow Dash walks up to you, still squinting her eyes at you.

"Uh... What's up?" You say, while crossing your arms to make yourself look 'cool.'

"I'm watching you." She says, then back away into the group. Your attempts to look 'cool' fade away as you lower your hands back down, and your lips form a frown of disappointment.

Suddenly you yawn. This sudden drowsiness is killing you. You don't know why, but you just feel sleepy.

"Well then. Now that we're all friends." Twilight says. "What do you want to do Michael?" She says looking at you. Upon hearing Twilight, your eyes shoot open.

-Woah. Falling asleep are we? How could you be sleepy anyway? You just woke up about an hour ago!-

~I'm sorry. I don't know why either.~

-I'd think you should get some more sleep time, before you do anything else.-

~Well...~
