Twilight's horn glew to the backdrop of darkness and a with a flash the candles in the room that she called her study lit up

she brushed the dust of the seat with her allicorn wings still trying to get used to her new form she talked to herself with confusion. A letter from celestia what could she want at this hour? she used her magic to un-roll the piece of parchment and as she squinted to get a better look she began to read to her self

"Dearest Princess Sparkle

I fear to be the bringer of bad news but a Tragedy has happened at the canterlot grounds a thief known by the name Avri Kadavri has assaulted princess Luna and stolen her crown this piece of jewelry is worth countless bits and i know in the past if have been known to rely on you and i hope once more you can help me in my time of need . at your earliest convience please join me at canterlot castle. Reply to me as soon as you can

Twilight thought to herself; who would steal Luna's crown there has to be a reason for this not to mention the things this thief must of gone through just to get to the grounds who is this Avri? what does she want? she used her horn to grab a pice of parchment for the reply.

After a desperate battle to wake up spike she finally got him to send the letter to celestia.

Dear Celestia

I will gather my things in the morning and make my way to canterlot I am very intrested in this Thief and i would very much like to help in search of Princess Luna's crown

your faithful comrade - Princess Sparkle

Chapter 1 pt.2

Twilight woke up and knew what she had to do she used her wings to glide down the staircase in her home faster. Before she went to bed she made a list of the things she needed to take.

"Spike!"

she called to her assisstant. Twilight heared a flop upstairs and smirked and began to start on packing. Spike the dragon twilights most faithful of friends stomped down the stairs Twilight called out to him

"Spike I have a meeting in canterlot watch the library while im gone and no funny buissness"

Spike did a sloppy salute. Twilight used her magic to grab her dress though she wasn't one for formal attire she new she had to look her best she slipped through the dress and made sure to grab her crown on the way out placing it on her head.

"Be good spike" Twilight called out to him as she made her way to the door

" Spike replied alright alright...." and she shut the door behind her.

Celestia sat on blanket with luna and they discussed what had happened the night before Luna looked up at her older sister.

"Tia are you sure Twilight will be up to this? Avri Kadavri Is one of the most notorious thieves in Equestria not to mention how dangerous she is you know what shes capable of."

Luna glared at her older sister. Luna knew things about her sister that even she didnt know and thats what worried celestia the most

Meanwhile

Twilight arrived in canterlot on one of the royal chariots used by Luna and Celestia the people bowed to twilight welcoming the princess she asked her guards to go away asking she wished for some privacy as she walked through the colorful streets of canterlot. the people looked over at her and smiled and nooded she even came across Fancy Pants payed him a polite hello as she trotted down the street towards the castle she noticed something a gathering of ponies she tilted her head with confusion. She tapped the shoulder of a stallion he jerked his head in shock

"P-princess Sparkle!' he sputtered

Twilight replied to the stallion "please just call me twilight besides I only wish to know what going on here?"

" oh its the Flim Flam brothers!"

Twilights eyes widened with shock "Flim and Flam! why are they here!"

Twilights look of curiousity swiftly turned into anger and she moved through the crowed. She used her wings to jump up on the stage Flim and Flam looked over in astonishment

Flim and Flam did a bow

Flim spoke first "Hello princess sparkle what brings you to our fine attraction

" I wish to know what your trying to scam people with this time cider or just some other lame excuse?"

Then Flam stepped up " no... we have something to show to these kind ponies something new to this land a marvel of wonder!"

"and just for the low price of! *cough* 20 bits *cough*"

Twilight walked up to them and gave them a deep glare "let me see this... Wonder"

"Right this way Princess!"

Twilight followed the brothers into the tent along with several other ponies who payed. She looked around it was just another one of those travling emporiums with those fake mythos and demons then the trio and the crowed reached the back Flim stepped up onto a small stage and cleared his throat

"Fillies and Gentlecoats! the most wonderous item to ever grace Equestria.... if give you.... the Wonder Rock!"

and with a flash Flam removed the cloth covering the item. The ponies were astonished at what they saw a pure white rock that glowed and floated in the air the stone almost looked like it was chipped off of a bigger part but Twilight knew something was off and she couldn't but her hoof on it

"Fine you two your free for now but i got my eye on you..."

Flim and Flam stared back at Twilight and did a polite bow

"Farewell twilight sparkle..."

As Twilight put her back to the brothers and walked out she could of sworn she saw them smirk. She shook off the feeling and looked up to the looming canterlot castle. she took a breath and moved on to the meeting.
