Chapter Two: The Heist of The Century

Twilight looked up to the sky noticing that the night was looming she hurried along as fast as she could to the castle making sure not to hit anyone on her way to the castle then a booming voice was heard

"PRINCESS SPARKLE APPROACHES LOWER THE DRAW BRIDGE!"

Twilight watched as the huge wooden draw bridge of the castle lowered with its chains clanking and creaking ever so slightly and finally with a thud it hit the edge of the moat and then the voice spoke once more

"Welcome Princess enjoy your stay at the castle!"

Twilight enjoyed the small courteseies that she got from princess status but she still missed the days when she was just a normal mare and not a high mighty allicorn. as she got lost in her train of thought she didn't realise she was almost the the door of the castle. Unbeknownst to her the Princess Celestia her Teacher and Friend was right infront of her. almost walking into her she looked up with suprisement

"oh princess Celestia im so sorry i uh uh didn't see you there"

Twilight also did a slight bow

"now now twilight there is no need for the formalities its not like anyone is watching us"

Celestia stiffed a little laugh and returned her focus to twilight

"oh well okay"

Twilight cleared her throat " So this thief shall we discuss inside?"

"the sounds great ill have some tea brought in aswell"

They both nodded and entered the castle together. all the while Luna Flew out from the castle and raised her great white moon. Twilight looked and smiled. they walked along the corridor leading to the canterlot castle meeting room. twilight has never been to this room before it was very old looking almost looking older then the castle itself. The room was very cylindrical with a round table in the middle with a map of equestria twilight thought that this might of been used as a war room.

"I've never been in this room before..."

"this is the catnerlot meeting room this room was used as a war room when me and my sister fought"

and as if a coinsidence Princess luna walked in

"What about me she asked with a deeper tone"

"Nothing dear sister please come join us around the table"

For a short while the three sat in silence then celestia began to speak

"Princess sparkle we have asked you to join us for this meeting on the topic of the the theft of Princess Luna's crown"

Luna and Twilight looked at Celestia with full attention

Twilight spoke next "Do you know anything about this thief Avri Kadavri was it?"

Luna then looked over at celestia and she spoke

"She has commited several Thefts in the past Decades stealing some of Equestrias greatest treasures"

Twilight replied "but what items has she stolen in the past?"

Celestia looked at luna then to twilight "mostly artifacts the older the better"

The group seemed to think harder and harder untill luna broke the silence

"I think i have a plan to catch this thief" Luna said looking at both of them

Celestia returned a glance at luna "atleast we have a place to start"

Luna began to explain the plan "this thief of ours likes to take rare items perhaps if we wait at a museum with a fake item we can lure the thief to us!"

Twilight looked at both of them " that could actually work!"

The three bagan to discuss plans for the coming week.

Chapter 2 pt.2

Spike stretched as he rose from a restful sleep he then added a on a deep yawn he looked out the window watching as the rays of celestias sun fell thorugh. Spike heard a knock at the door as he rubbed the muck out of his eyes

"who could that be at this time?" he spoke to himself

he walked down the stairs still half asleep he walked through the hall to the front door of the library he turned the knob on the door and slowely opened the door.

"hello?" spike spoke softly

He looked through the door and to his suprise it was Fluttershy

Fluttershy looked at him and spoke with her sweet soft voice "oh um hey spike i was just wondering if twilight was home"

Spike looked at her "She left for canterlot this morning for a meeting something about a thief or something like that"

Fluttershy looked dissapointed that her friend was not home

"oh well do you know when she will be back theres something weird at my cottage im not sure what it is"

Spike looked at her confused "weird how?" he replied

"uh well if you want to come see it you can come with me"

Spike looked back into the library realizing he had not done his chores

"uh fine ill come ill do my chores later"

Fluttershy gave a smile and they began the trek to fluttershys cottage

Canterlot two day's later

They had their plan lure the thief to the museum, capture her, done but Twilight had a feeling that something was wrong she couldn't put her hoof on it though. As luna prepared  to raise the moon twilight got in place waiting for the thief she looked through windows to the roof watching as the sky grew darker. they had a plan in place a fake artifact crafted by pure magic it looked so real it almost fooled twilight. she looked up once more and noticed that the sky was pure dark

Twilight talked to herself to calm down "your gonna be okay your gonna be okay no need to worry"

She became paranoid after a while questioning every sound that was heard untill she noticed a shadow  of what appeared to be a mare

"got you now" Twilight whispered to herself

and then the mare stepped into the light her mane was pure gold her fur was white, whiter then rarity's almost  she had red eyes with some purple her eyes were so exotic. Twilight hid more as the mare began to talk

"This is to easy..." The mare looked around she appeared to suspect that this was a trap

Twilight glanced back up and noticed that the mare was gone she then felt something tug at her neck and she was yanked back

"my word princess sparkle out so late are we?"

Twilights muffled shrieks were heard as she was pulled into the shadows.
