Lies are Better than the Truth
A purple pony lay curled up in the corner of her tiny cement cell, unmoving, nonspeaking and limp. She had been here longer than she could remember, she turned her body, making sure not to aggravate the bloodied and bruised spots where her wings used to be. She looked up at the ceiling, watching the dim light of the lamp flickering on and off.
"Good Morning" she had whispered to herself, trying to hold back to tears as she did. She, of course had no perception of time, but she liked to at least imagine that the sun was rising above the mountain, as she looked out of her library window in ponyville. That lamp had been her only company sense the day they got her.
She remembered her friends, but most of there features had vanished with her dreams of escape. She had once hoped that they would find and rescue her, but she knew that they weren't. They probably didn't even know were she was, so Twilight knew she couldn't count on her friends to help her.
A tear trickled down her bruised and dirt covered face as she rubbed her hoof on the cold stone floor, tracing the dark blood covered cracks and crevasses. The cracks seemed to run up along the walls as well making her cell feel even older. The panels on the ceiling had began to fall apart a little when she first arrived, but it had stopped not to long after, making the ceiling look as if it were caving in on itself.
Twilight wished she could see the blue sky, and the warmth of the sun, and most importantly she wished she could leave her cell. She had been out of her cell many times of course, but only to be greeted by artificial light as masked ponies dragged her into a large glass room. Where they would tie her down and inject her with chemicals and liquids. The masked ponies had once put a gag in her mouth, when they brutally cut her open to experiment with new technologies and the reaction of substances.
She began to whimper, flinching at the imaginary pain of the past. She glanced over at the stubs that now replaced her wings, they twitched making Twilight gag, covering her mouth in fear that she would vomit. They had chopped off her wings, as a warning when she had tried to escape a while back. The masked ponies had given her a warning never to attempt to escape again, but she tried a few days ago and was put back into her small square cell.
The purple pony bite her lip in anger. What had she ever done to deserve this? She stopped cold. She listened as she heard ponies trotting down the hall. At this point, she started to panic, looking for something to hide behind, but only thing that even came close to a hiding spot was a dark corner at the far side of the room. But something caught her eye, a wooden door, much like the one attached to her home in Ponyville. It brought back many happy memories, making the frightened pony trot towards the door which had opened on its own. She entered the small door to be greeted by her warm and comfortable library, she spun around trying to make out all of her favorite books and household features. She collapsed onto the wood flooring, tears beginning to trickle down her check.
"Twilight! Were have you been?" shouted a familiar voice. She turned around to be greeted by a small purple dragon. "We've been looking for you everywhere! We had thought you were gone forever," he said beginning to sob.
"Um, I'm sorry, but, do I know you?" Twilight asked.
"Twilight, it's me, Spike!"
Twilight analyzed the dragon for a few seconds, slowly making out familiar facial features. "Spike?" She said as she began to remember the purple dragon she had brought into the world. "Spike!"
"Oh Twilight, we've all missed you so much," he said hugging her friend "Come on lets go find everypony else! They will be so happy to see you again!" Spike said as he dragged Twilight out of her home.
As they left the house, she was greeted by a long dark hallway. She closed her eyes and shook her head. After some time had passed she slowly opened her eyes to be greeting once again by the bright-blue sky and cottage like buildings.
"Pinkie Pie should be around here somewhere" said Spike as he continued to drag twilight down the dirt road.
"Could you please take it easy?" she said to Spike "you're dragging is starting to mess up my coat."
He didn't seem to hear and continued on down the path. The spots were his claws were dragging her started to chaff and burn, as he slowly tore the hair of the purple pony. They stopped at the town hall, Spike let go of her, and walked toward the entrance to the building.
"Alright, we got the test subject as you asked" shouted a large brown unicorn, wearing a white lab coat. The pony had a spiky black mane and a messy tail. Under his eyes were dark circles. Just behind him were two ponies one dark blue and one purple both wearing black masks with a cut out slit for eye holes. He stepped back to let the door slide open.
He and the other two ponies he had worked with brought the cross-eyed alicorn into a bright white room, where they tired her up to a large metallic panel just below a rather large machine representing a drill.
The two work ponies strapped down the purple mares legs and exited the room. The brown pegasus checked all the straps and ties making sure none were loose, and took out a needle labeled Anti-magic and stuck the long rusted needle into the mares upper neck. All of the muscles of the pony came to life, desperately trying to break free of the bonds. The brown stallion turned around to look up at a large window at the top of the room. He saluted to the ponies inside and exited the room.
The white pony with shining purple mane and a pink bow in her hair, inside turned on the machine and furiously slammed buttons and pulled multiple levers.
"Sir, the operation is ready to start," said the white pony.
A sky blue unicorn walked toward her. He was the kind of stallion, that when you stared into his eyes you could feel a sense of loneliness and despair. He walked towards her, his red and black mane hitting his face with each step
"Good, did you make sure that there are no glitches in the system?" he said with a booming voice.
"No sir," she said with a small shudder.
"Good, there must not be any interruptions this time Spotlight Drama. We don't want another half died pony running around the facility."
"Yes sir," she said. "Are we ready to begin?"
"Yes, start it up," he said as he walked toward the closest window.
"Starting in, 3, 2, 1," announced Spotlight Drama, hitting a big red button to her far right.
The machine zapped to life, slowly the drill-like machine started to spin, gaining momentum until it spun in full motion. The machine slowly lowered itself down, until the drill was right about the purple ponie's struggling head. The head pony turned his head toward spotlight drama and nodded, informing her to continue.
The machine began to drill into the restrained ponies head. Even though there was glass between them and the purple alicorn, they could still hear the agonizing scream. The drill went farther tearing a hole into the ponies head, churning the fur, bone, and brain, into one sickening goo. The goo ran down her face, trickling into her mouth. The purple pony stopped struggling and fell limp, the drill vibrating her body.
Twilight stared at the ceiling, letting the light take her. She remembered her friends, and how much time she had spent with them. Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Spike, she hoped that they would continue they life and dreams, and hoped they were happy. She gave in and she went toward the bright searing light, and she thought to herself, "I'm finally going home."

Lies are Better than the Truth
They dragged the yellow pegasus through the dim stone hallway. They held her by her back legs, while she pathetically Tried to grab onto the smooth floor. Behind them they left a path of blood, and were afraid that the pegasus would bleed out before they got her to the boss.
He and his partner had worked here for 3 years, they were in a bad spot and had nowhere to go. The boss took them in, and had protected them from the dangers and suffering outside. After a while though, they found it impossible to leave the building, and the Boss put they to work. They were kind of like the mail ponies, they delivered the test subjects to different areas of the building, and were told to use force if necessary.
His partner turned around to look at the bloody screaming pegasus, he shuddered, but managing to control himself and gestured to stop. My partner was a brown pony with slick, dark brown hair, he had been my friend for longer than I could ever remember. We kind of have a mental connection, the kind were you don't have to even talk to know what the other was thinking, which was good because I prefer not to talk, even around my family and relatives.
"Stop screaming," he warned the sobbing pony.
The pegasus continued to cry, and my partner gave a long sigh. I looked away as he lifted his hoof and brought it down upon the ponies leg. The first time his hoof lowered onto the yellow leg it gave a loud thud, but after a while the sound of snapping bone grew louder. I looked back at the pony, she was silent, must likely in shock, as she stared at her snapped leg. I felt like puking as I stared at the blood covered bone that stuck out of the yellow mares leg. I turned my head and looked down at the ground, I swallowed the vomit that slowly crawled up my mouth. I looked at my partner, a tear ran down his dirty cheek, and I swiftly moved my head as to gesture to keep moving.
We made our way down the hall, dragging the shivering pony behind us. We turned a corner down an identical looking hall. For the first few weeks of working here, it was basically remembering hallways and doors, and trust me when I say we got lost more times than a filly stranded at sea. The shivers of the bloodied pegasus ran up my arm, making it even more difficult as it was to hold her slick and bloody leg. My partner was probably thinking the same thing, which didn't come as a shock to me when he said.
"Stop shaking you filthy animal!" He yelled, "If you don't stop, I'll break your other leg!"
The pegasus stopped cold. Maybe I should stop calling her pegasus, I had known her before. She had known me as well, even if I didn't talk much. Anyway, Fluttershy stopped cold, her eyes opened wide. She shook her head as to say no please don't! My partner turned his head to start walking. She walked a few steps, then turned around to face me.
"Come on, we gotta get her to the boss," He said.
"No, this is wrong Filthy, I mean Rich." I took a second to catch me breath, "I can't do this anymore, I'll go insane if I keep this up,"
Filthy Rich stood there, unable to speak. After a few seconds he gave a sigh.
"I know, this is wrong of us. But what else can we do? HE wont let us leave," A tear trickled down his face, "But I have to do this, he has my daughter, and he'll kill her if I don't listen," He closed his eyes, "Do you even know what it's like to have your family imprisoned? Well, do you? This isn't a game Macintosh, this is life or death, and only I can stop it from happening,"
"Rich," I began, "I'm sorry for your child, but would you really rather see her suffer?"
"Of course not," he shouted, "Do you think i wanted this? I, I just, don't know anymore," Filthy slumped to the ground.
We both stood there, not knowing what to say, or do. The sound of Fluttershy's whimpers keeping us from forgetting the task ahead of us.
"Come on, we have a job to do." I said picking up a leg.
We continued to drag Fluttershy until we reach a large door. We knocked, and the large doors opened. We dragged her to a large panel, where we began strapping her down. She began to beg us to let her go.
"Please! I'll do anything! I don't want to die!" She began sobbing, "Please Big Macintosh! Please!" she reached out her unrestrained arm, I noticed it and strapped it down.
After we had finish, we began to walk away, but before we could reach the door a voice for the inter-calm echoed throughout the room.
"Actually," It began "You two should stay," The doors in front of us slammed shut, "I need you two to see what happens to ponies who don't follow the rules.
We stepped back, as a loud buzzer echoed through the room. Fluttershy began to scream, desperately trying to slash free of the bonds. A large spike slowly came out of the wall, and crept toward her. Her eyes opened wide, with the spike only a few inches away she called out.
"Please! Big Macintosh! I'll do anyth-"
She stopped as the spike touched her flesh, It dug into her, opening the skin and released a large amount of blood. She began screaming, the metal glistening with blood. As the spike impaled her large amounts of blood and bits of shattered bone gushed forth from the ever growing hole in the pegesus's chest. Pretty soon though, Fluttershy stopped screaming and lay lifeless on the cold blood-stained metal. The spike must have gone through her heart, or she fainted from the excessive blood loss.
Seeing her dead made something click inside my head, at this point I'm not sure if it was bad or good, but all I know is - I want to see more, and I want everypony to suffer...
