The Aurora Boreallis

I followed along with Rainbow Dash as she directed me to a tree that looks like it's been hollowed out to be a house. I flapped my wings so I could come to a soft landing at the front door. Rainbow soon followed. I took one glance at her face. She looked really scared of me. I don't think I've should've ever told her that.....then again, the people have been spilling the beans on that trait of mine for years.

"Twilight, it's me. I have someone you might want to meet!" , Rainbow yelled through the door while knocking.

I heard a voice on the on the side, "Just a minute" .

I heard the sound of trotting approaching the door.

Something smells really good right now.

The door opened to reveal a lavender unicorn with a magenta highlight running through her mane and tail. Both our eyes meet and she looked at me with utter shock and awe.

"Oh.....my....gosh......it's....actually....you....." .

She managed to mumble out while gazing at my dark blue coat.

I responded, "Uh...yeah...hi, I'm Auro-" .

"It's Actually You!! The Aurora Boreallis!!! Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh!!!!" .

She looked like she got a gift for Heart Warming's Day. Rainbow shot her a confused look.

I held out my hoof, "Nice to meet you. Twilight is it...?" .

Twilight looked as if she was about to explode with happiness.

"SWEET CELESTIA!!!! YOU KNOW MY NAME!!!!!" , she squeed with absolute excitement.

"Please come in! Come in!" .

She moved aside so Rainbow and I could walk in. The place looked really clean. I mean really really clean. I believed she had the idea that I would be coming here ahead of time. There were books all lined up neatly up against the walls, almost like a library. So that's what that sign was out in front of her house. Wow, she lives in a library. Must be a librarian then.

She showed me a section of the main room were the books were categorized as "Earth & Space Sciences" .

"I've been studying about the amazing things you do with the atmosphere. I have like so many questions to ask you!" .

She continued to talk while using her magic to pull out a couple books that had my name inserted in them.

I thought to myself with excitement.

".......I can't believe it......she admires me too. I bet she has studying a hundred books about me and my legends of the past, and it looks like she doesn't even give a shit. She cares about what wonders I do for this world....maybe I can prove to these ponies that I'm different......but why does something or someone smell sooo good right now....." .

My mind continued to wander off into space while Twilight was talking to me regardless. Then suddenly, a voice came from right behind me. "Hi there!!!!" .

I screamed. "AHHH!!!" .

My wings flew open and I jumped 10 feet into the air, impacted the ceiling, and came to crash on the ground.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!   PINKIE!!!" .

Twilight shouted to the other pony that had suddenly appeared behind me.

"Sorry Twilight! I just wanted to say hi to him 'cause I knew he didn't know me and I didn't know him and I wanted to be friends with him so I came here as soo-..." .

I regained my vision just in time to see Twilight put a hoof to the pink pony's mouth to stop her from going on.

"I'm sorry Aurora Boreallis, Pinkie tends to be rather....upfront with new people..." .

I got up on all fours and shook my head,

"No it's fine. I tend to over react to things. I'm The Aurora Boreallis, but you can just call me Aurora. Nice to meet you uh....Pinkie?" .

"Pinkie Pie! I'm Ponyville's favorite pony! Ooh! Ooh! We should throw you a Welcome Party! I'll invite eveypony in town!!" .

I gulped at those last words. "....Everypony....?" , I tried to confirm.

"Yeah! Everypony!" , she bubbled.

Twilight came in at the right time.

"Uh Pinkie, you remember what happened just hours ago right?" .

Pinkie seemed to remember.

"Well yeah. That's because everypony didn't give him a chance to introduce himself. But with a party, it'll be kinda of a neutral thing right?" .

Twilight seemed dumbfounded by Pinkie's correct interpretation. She was right after all. Maybe a social gathering should ease the mood.

"That does sound like a great idea I guess." , I announced to the three ponies.

Pinkie seemed extremely delighted.

"YAAYY!!!! THIS IS GONNA BE SOOO GREAT!!!!" .

She was bouncing around all over the room. Twilight walked up to my side,

"She's normally like this on a daily basis. Looks like we're going to have a gatheri-.....PINKIE!!!!!!" .

Twilight yelled as Pinkie, oblivious to look where she was hopping to, landed on a book, which catapaulted another larger book into the air and was heading straight for my face.

"Whoa! F*ck!!!" . I closed my eyes and focused on the book at the last second.

The book became engulfed in a black aurora and stopped dead in front of my face.

I opened my eyes, "Whew. Watch where you're going Pinkie.....girls...?" .

All of their faces, including Rainbow Dash's, looked liked they've just saw a bus explosion.

"How....How did you......you're not a........holy Celestia....." , was all Twilight could muster out.

I finally took notice of what I was doing. I released my power and placed the book on the ground. I giggled to their reaction,

"Oh yeah....I forgot to tell you I have telekinesis." .

They were still silent, until Pinkie broke the silence.

"That's...so....COOL!!!! You're a Pegasus that can use magic!!!" .

Twilight asked the primary question to me,

"Who....are...you...?"

I answered,

"I'm The Aurora Boreallis." .

I predicted that she's going to have a hell of a lot of questions for me. Let's just hope this party goes well tonight.
