The Aurora Boreallis

I raised an eyebrow at her approach.

"Uh....no need for the formalities.....um.....Princess Celestia. Right.....?"

She looked up at me with sheer horror of the fact that I knew her name.

"Y-Y-yes right! I am Princess Celestia, Ruler of Equestria." , she finished.

I had enough. I knew this isn't what she normally would act like. Feeling that my left wing was feeling better, I hopped off my bed and approached her. Her eyes went wide as she began to back away.

"Wait. Don't leave. I just want to talk to you...."

She noticed the softness of my voice and stopped so I could come almost face to face with her. I was probably just about her height. Maybe a few centimeters shorter specifically. I held out my hoof in the most casual way possible.

"You can just call me Aurora."

She looked at me as if it was some kind of test, but later denied the fact and shook my hoof. She responded,

"Forgive me, Aurora, for being so unusual. That was foolish behavior of me." .

I waved the matter away, "Actually you're the first pony to ever talk to me. Nobody ever wanted to see me because some crazy people back in Equestrian Times 3000 years made some stupid stories that I'm all bad and angry and bring wrath and that nonsense." .

I could see by the guilty look on her face that she immediately knew what I was talking about.

"We were so confused...we didn't know...forgive us!" , she replied as she bowed down in front of me.

I shook my head. "Please dear. Don't bow. People should be bowing to you instead."

She raised herself. "If it's not too much to ask, how did you end up here out of all places?"

I smiled, "Got hurt on the job."

She looked back at the door where the group of nurses and media crew were waiting along with a mixture of Celestia's royal guards. "I could get the media out of your hair for you if you wish. Just tell me and I'll be right on it." , she assured me. As tempting as that sounded, I knew I had to show my face one way or another. "No. I believe they'll keep their distance from me until I'm ready to publicly speak to them in a general manner." , I said as I walked with her to the door. "I want to be a part of this town." .

As I opened the door to the hallway of the hospital, everypony gasped and bowed. The annoyed expression I gave them when they bowed didn't help either. Even the guards bowed down. I picked up my pace as I walked out of the hospital where I was greeted with more gasps and swarms of crowds, all bowing down as I walked past them.

I hated this. I wanted to be considered a normal pony. What was I thinking? I've been feared for over 3,000 years. What makes me think that a public address would calm them down?

My anger was quickly becoming visible as the wind rapidly picked up even though it was sunny as day. The crowd gasped as if I was trying to summon a hurricane.

I finally got fed up. I yelled at the crowd with my most loudest voice.

"ALL I WANT TO DO IS TO BE YOUR FRIEND!!!!!!" .

I summoned a huge bolt of lightning that struck me as I aparated away into thin air, leaving the crowd of ponies terrified and speechless.

".....I think I overdid it....." .

I thought to myself as I rested on a small cumulus cloud that was a black as the feeling in my gut.

".....Can they just see the light of me for one second.....?" .

It was my fault after all. I got too ahead of myself, cramped my wing, swan-dived through the atmosphere like a comet, and impacted my own force dome at 500 mph. Yeah....it was definetly my fault.

I continued to loathe to myself on how much I hated physics until a voice from under me spoke.

".....um....e-excuse me sir..." .

My eyes popped open at the voice as I rolled over to see who it was. It was a rainbow colored mane cyan pegasus that was hovering below my cloud.

"...um...hi..." She said with the most timid face.

I actually found that quite cute.

I responded, "Oh...hey. If I knocked out your power down there 'cause of that lightning bolt, I apologize for that."

She had a surprised look on her face due to the fact that I actually spoke to her.

"Actually, I really wanted to meet you. Besides the Wonderbolts, you're are like one of the coolest ponies there is in this world!" .

She said with an excited expression. The cloud I was sitting on dissolved as I replayed that last part in my head.

"She thinks I'm cool!!! Finally a pony who's not afraid!!!!!"

I flared open my wings, which made her gasp.

"Whoa!!! You're wings are huge!!"

I looked back at them. They were 4x larger than hers.

"...Y-You're not afraid of me....?"

The pegasus replied with enthusiasm,

"Me? I've always wanted to be just like you! The way you pull off sonic booms everytime you take off, the insane speed you always posses, I mean, what speed do you even cruise on!?!? 100 miles per hour!?!?"

My mind went back to the time I saw that rainbow colored ring when I created that visible spectrum sonic boom. I looked at her mane and tail. The gears finally clicked in my head.

"Hey! You're the one that created that visible rainbow boom the other day!"

Her eyes went wide,

"You saw me?!?! AWESOME!!!" .

We both laughed as I connected those thoughts together. She held out her hoof with confidence,

"I'm Rainbow Dash. I was gonna say I'm the fastest flier in Equestria, but I see I'm looking a t the fastest flier in this universe!" .

I chuckled as I shook her hoof, "Oh you...." .

I looked down as I saw Ponyville. Rainbow spoke to me while she followed.

"Tough luck down there huh?"

I looked up at her, "You know about that....?"

"Well besides the big lightning bolt of anger you threw down there, me and my friends were seeing what the buzz was about. When you came out of the hospital, my friend Twilight totally lost her sh*t. She loves reading about legends and other boring stuff so when she saw you, she plowed through ponies just to get to you while everypony was bowing. But before she could get to you, you let out a huge fit and disappeared in a bolt of lightning."

I was reeling. There are actually some ponies who want to meet me! I might even have a chance at being considered a friend of the town. She contiuned

"There's also Pinkie Pie, who was jumping up and down like crazy when you came out too." .

I was excited to meet these people. "Then show me to them."

She nodded her head and we both took off, flying down to Ponyville. While descending, I asked her,

  "So where are these ponies that wanted to see me? I wanted to actually make friends with people in the town, but due to the obvious fallacy of my history, everypony thinks I 'll eat them alive." .

Rainbow Dash gave me a confused look,

"You....eat...ponies...?" .

I looked at her with a more serious face,

"Unfortunately that fact itself is true. To survive, I usually eat meat to gain energy so I don't starve." .

I could've sworn Rainbow turned white as a ghost as he looked at me with a horrified expression on his face. Maybe that's why everypony is afraid of me...............damn it.....
