WHIRLING AMBITIONS

The storm outside of Sugarcube corner raged on as Spike and Pinkie Pie lay in her bed.

“So...how was I?” Pinkie Pie asked with a grin.

Spike however didn't seem to reply or more the case he seemed to be having trouble finding the words to describe how he felt.

FLASHBACK

“Ride em cowpony!” Pinkie Pie screamed as she slammed her pink pussy down on Spike's cock.

Spike grunted and stifling yelps of pain each time Pinkie Pie slammed on his balls, instead giving a different pained look with each slam. One of which was one of wide-eyed shock and pain, another was a part panicked look part “SOMEPONY HELP ME!!!” look...

END FLASHBACK

“Painful-...erm..I mean pleasurable.” Spike said covering up his first word cleverly. 'And I thought she was crazy outside of bed...' Spike thought to himself dismally. Despite the pain he endured and the random sexual ideas Pinkie Pie threw at him from no where, he at least could say it was fun.

Pinkie Pie giggled at him and smiled. “I might have over did it a little...” Pinkie Pie remarked after a few moments.

“A little?” Spike replied with a grin.

“Okay.. maybe the candy-cane and the power drill was a little over the top...” Pinkie Pie replied with a giggle.

Suddenly the room began to shake violently making both Spike and Pinkie Pie look up in alarm. “What's going on?!” Spike exclaimed as numerous toys and items began to tumble down off of Pinkie Pie's dresser and onto the floor.

“I don't know. But I'll bet you fifty cupcakes it isn't a tea party!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed running down the stairs.

“Wait, what?” Spike asked aloud trying to make sense of what Pinkie Pie just said as he followed her down the stairs to the main store.

Once at the door, Pinkie Pie opened it up, and for a moment Spike could have swore Pinkie Pie's mane stood on end in a spiky fashion as she seemed to jump into the air with her legs sprawled in all directions as she screamed “Tornado!!!” and slammed the door shut with her back to it wearing a panicked expression.

“What's a Tor-na-do?” Spike asked curiously.

“You really need to get out more.” Pinkie Pie replied in a panicked tone.

“So what is it?” Spiked asked confused.

“You know what a blender is right?” Pinkie Pie asked as she ran past him to the door in the opposite side of the room and opened it while the sound of the tornado grew louder and louder.

“Yeah....” Spike replied not sure where she was going with this.

“Think that except a giant one blending Ponyville into a frappe!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed motioning for him to follow her.

This example was more than enough to give Spike the picture that a tornado wasn't a very nice thing as his expression went from calm to panicked. “So how do we stop it?!” Spike asked in a scared voice.

“We don't! We hide! Follow me!” Pinkie Pie replied and ran down the stairs.

Spike was about to follow her when the entire building began to shake causing him to lose balance and fall to his rump. He however got back to his feet and ran for the cellar door as the building behind him began to tear away.

Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie had tied a rope around her waist and was standing at the bottom of the stairs when she saw Spike running in and down the stairs however as he neared the bottom the tornado showed it's ugly face directly behind him and began to lift him up. Pinkie Pie ran as fast as her hooves could carry her lunging for Spike with her hooves extended, at which point Spike flung his claws wildly trying to grab for her and managed to grab hold.

The tornado began to lift Pinkie Pie up herself, but because she had herself securely tied down, it could only tug on her, lifting her off the ground slightly as Spike held on for dear life. “Hold on Spike! Don't let go!” Pinkie Pie shouted as the tornado raged about ten feet away from them moving in a strait line to the south while they were in a western direction. Objects flew past them clattering against the walls in the cellar room, missing them, but not by much.

“I don't want to die!” Spike screamed at the top of his lungs as tears of fear flooded from his eyes.

“You won't! Listen to me! Hang on!” Pinkie Pie shouted back.

Spike however was beginning to lose his grip on Pinkie Pie's hooves much to his own horror. “I'm slipping!” Spike exclaimed in horror as his claws edged little by little off of Pinkie Pie's hooves cutting in her skin however, she didn't notice or didn't care as she tried her best to keep a grip on Spike.

“Spike... don't you let go! You hear me?! Don't. Let. Go!” Pinkie Pie shouted as tears of fear and horror streamed from her eyes as well.

Spike tried to reaffirm his grip on Pinkie Pie's hooves, but only managed to slip a little father and letting out a panicked cry as he felt himself slip a little more suddenly.

“Spike! If you let go, I won't let you come to anymore of my parties!” Pinkie Pie shouted at the top of her lungs as Spike slipped a little more.

Spiked looked behind himself then back to Pinkie Pie as he slipped a little farther now. Spike barely had any grip on Pinkie Pie now. The only thing that kept him hanging on was a single claw that was dug deeply into Pinkie Pie's right hoof as his other arm flailed in the wind. Spike's life seemed to flash before his eyes now, as he saw all of his friends, one by one, appear before him, then disappear. However one pony seemed to stand out more than any other and for some reason, yet he had no idea why. Fluttershy seemed to stand before him smiling at him. He had no idea why, but at this moment, he wanted more than anything to say how sorry he was. Fluttershy is such a kind pony and he had treated her like a sex object. In the next moment however, she had vanished.

Pinkie Pie's eyes were filled with tears of fear panic and pain as her hoof bled with Spike's claw in it. “Pinkie Pie... I'm sorry... but I don't think I'll be able to make that party...” Spike shouted in an oddly calm tone. He had no idea if he had just went numb or the fear had gotten so bad it seemed to be nullifying his senses.

“Don't you dare let go! You hear me?! Twilight would never forgive me!” Pinkie Pie shouted back.

“I'm... sorry... Tell everyone... I’m sorry.” Spike replied a he felt his final claw began to lose it's grip.

Pinkie Pie's eyes widened as much as they could as her pupils shrunk to their smallest size as Spike's claw finally lost grip, and in a mere moment, was gone as tornado swallowed him whole. “Spiiiiiiiiiiiiiike!!!” Pinkie Pie screamed at the top of her lungs looking at the tornado as it whirled past.

Meanwhile, Fluttershy was watching the tornado from afar, on the porch of her cottage. Being a Pegasus pony she had decent eyesight and knew exactly what this was. “I hope everypony is okay...” Fluttershy remarked aloud as she watched it until something caught her attention. Something small had just been ejected from the tornado and was flying towards her cottage.

Fluttershy narrowed her eyes in an attempt to see the small object clearly as it grew closer, gave a suddenly horrified gasp, took off into the air on impulse, and braced herself for impact. Moments later Spike hit her full force, knocking the Pegasus back, however thanks to her wings, she was able to slow the descent and speed that they were now flying as they hit a hay stack in her back yard.

Fluttershy got to all fours, taking Spike off her, giving a pain cry as she literally pulled the spines attached to Spike's head that dug into her side out. Luckily for her, the cuts wasn't deep, but she couldn't leave it alone either. She then quickly limped into the backdoor of her cottage and patched her side up with bandages. It wasn't much, but it would at least slow the bleeding long enough for her to go get Spike.

Fluttershy limped back to Spike and examined him. “Oh thank goodness. He's still alive.” Fluttershy remarked looking over the young dragon. Amazingly with the exception of a few scratches, bumps, and bruises he was in very good condition.

“Oh thank goodness you're okay.” Fluttershy said with a tearful smile, began to hover, lifted him up, and carried him into her cottage setting him on her bed.
With her immediate concern out of the way, she took a look at her side again. It wasn't bleeding nearly as badly now, but she still had to stitch it up. “That dragon owes me big time for this.” Fluttershy remarked in a pained voice as she poured disinfectant over the cut in her side, took the sewing kit out of a nearby basket, and with a clever combination use of her wings and hooves sewed the cuts in her side up, wincing each time she dipped the needle in. Once finished she went picked up a small towel and mopped up any blood that was on the floor still. “And ponies said taking medical classes in flight school would be useless for a Pegasus...” Fluttershy said aloud, thoughtfully recalling the taunts and jeers she got from the other Pegasus in Cloudsdale in her youth.

Fluttershy gave one last look at her side and shuddered at the thought of what might have happened if Spike had hit her a little more to the left. “What in Equestria came over me, I wonder, to make me do something so reckless? It might not have even been Spike, yet, I jumped to the sky without thinking at the something that looked like him?” Fluttershy thought to herself as she walked into her bedroom and looked at Spike. The more Fluttershy thought about this the more she realized she had no idea why she had behaved so recklessly. The more she tried to figure out why she did what she did, the more it confused her and shocked her as she paced back and forth in a hover, not paying any attention at all where she was going.

“Ugh! Why is this driving me up the walls so much?!” Fluttershy exclaimed in a frustrated tone and looked back over at Spike, who had still not come to. 'I hope he wakes up soon... I don't what I would do if he was stuck like that.' Fluttershy thought to herself, hovered over to her bed, and gently folded up her legs as she landed next to him on the bed.

Fluttershy looked out her bedroom window and gave a sigh of relief as the tornado has apparently dissipated. “Well with the immediate threat to Ponyville gone, I suppose I should check on my woodland friends.” Fluttershy said aloud, gave one last look at Spike, who still lay unconscious, and left the bedroom.

Fluttershy remained at Spike's side whenever possible over the course of the next few days, making sure to alert the other ponies that Spike was alive and well, especially after a very tearful and crying uncontrollably Pinkie Pie told her what she thought was the terrible news. Pinkie Pie needless to say was so overjoyed by this news that she of course planned to do a party, but it would be in Spike's honor.

Twilight was less overjoyed and seemed to be more worried about Spike and tried to insist on taking him with her until Fluttershy pointed out that she had no home to take him to at the moment, and he was best left in her care. This was yet another thing that confused her. She had never been confident enough to stand up to anypony, much less her friends when they attempted to insist on something. Yet here she was standing up to Twilight.

'What in Celestia's name is happening to me?' Fluttershy thought as she opened the door to check on Spike again. She began to check his pulse counting the beats out loud, then looked over him to make sure nothing had become discolored. Finally, she had to check his breathing. She put her ear to his chest and listened carefully. Then lifted her head up. “Well Spike, you're the perfect bill of heath.” Fluttershy said with a smile, looking at Spike's face, who looked like he was sleeping peacefully for the first time since she brought him in here.

Fluttershy smiled widely proud of herself now thinking this was a good sign. She then placed a hoof on his cheek gently and ran it along it, slowly leaning her face in close to his. “He's so handsome when he's sleeping.” Fluttershy remarked, leaning in even closer, so close that she could feel his breathing against her face.

“Why am I so brave when it comes to standing up for you and protecting you?” Fluttershy asked aloud in a whisper even quieter than her normal whispering voice. “What...” Fluttershy asked leaning in closer still. “Is...” She said, her lips now hovering over his now. “This....” She said aloud and in the next moment before she knew what was happening had locked her lips on Spike's. 'Feeling?' She thought to herself, finishing her sentence in her mind as she kissed him passionately, then suddenly ripped her mouth off his and placed a hoof on her own with a shocked expression now. “Oh, dear Celestia...” Fluttershy said aloud in a shocked tone, got off the bed, left the room abruptly, and sat on her living room couch.

“Fluttershy, your such a feather brain!” Fluttershy said aloud putting both front hooves on her head, ruffling up her hair, then flung them to the couch letting out an aggravated sigh. “It was only once! How could I feel this way about him after just one time?” Fluttershy asked herself aloud trying to make sense of why she was feeling this way. “Maybe I should ask Twilight what I should do?” Fluttershy said aloud, got off her couch and went to to visit Twilight's home, (or rather the lack there of) as she and Rainbow Dash had been spending the last few days fixing it up.

Fluttershy flew over and landed in front of Twilight's home. They had rebuilt it for the most part, but many things still needed touching up. Timidly, Fluttershy opened the door and walked in.

Needless to say Fluttershy was no where near prepared for what she saw. “Oh... my.....” Fluttershy remarked in a shocked tone at the sight of Twilight's face buried in between Rainbow Dash's legs with Rainbow Dash moaning out in ecstasy. With these words, however, Twilight ripped her face from between Rainbow Dash's legs with a shocked expression and a beat red face, while Rainbow Dash wore a similar one.

“Maybe I should come back later...” Fluttershy said and began to back away out the door.

“I'd say this isn't what it looks like, but I don't think that would work...” Twilight said after a few moments still blushing beat red.

“I'll say.” Fluttershy replied still backing away towards the door.

After an awkward confession and convincing Fluttershy to stay, the three fillies were sitting in Twilight's living room.

“So you two are a couple now?” Fluttershy asked shyly in an attempt to break the awkward silence.

“Yeah. You could say that.” Rainbow Dash replied with a smile nuzzling Twilight's cheek.

“You don't have a problem with two fillies being together do you?” Twilight asked in a worried tone.

“Oh no, I mean it's just I’ve never seen two fillies actually doing it before so...” Fluttershy replied taking a shy stance allowing her hair to cover her face.

“What brings you over here anyways?” Rainbow dash asked attempting to change the subject.

“Oh, well you see... I’m sort of having a problem.” Fluttershy replied with her face from behind her hair still.

“What kind of problem?” Twilight asked curiously.

“Well...I'm think I'm in...” Fluttershy replied however the last three words of her sentence were inaudible due to her voice suddenly going into a very low whisper.

“What was that?” Rainbow Dash asked confused due to her whispering being so low she couldn't hear her properly.

“I think I’m in...” Fluttershy replied a little louder now but still inaudible.

“Could you speak up we can't hear you properly.” Twilight replied in a slightly annoyed tone.

“I think I’m in love with Spike!” Fluttershy shouted out with her face to the ceiling then followed by a squeak hiding her face behind her hair again.

Rainbow Dash and Twilight both blinked several times taken back by this statement before one of them actually spoke.

“Does Spike know this?” Rainbow Dash asked curiously.

“I was about to ask the same thing. Has he woken up?” Twilight chimed in.

“No... Not yet... But... Um... You don't think anything is wrong with a pony being in love with a dragon?” Fluttershy asked in a shy tone.

“Fluttershy. You're talking to a couple fillies who are lesbians. Besides what kind of friends would we be if we were to be mean to you for falling in love with Spike.” Twilight replied with a smile.

“But um... He is a baby dragon... Isn't that a bad thing?” Fluttershy asked still not removing her face from behind her hair.

“Spike may be considered a baby dragon, but he's about as old as I am. He may not look it, but he's old enough.” Twilight replied with a smile patting Fluttershy on the shoulder.

“After everything he's done with Twilight and me. I'd completely agree with this...” Rainbow Dash remarked with a slightly annoyed expression.

“Well... I should be getting back to my cottage then to check on Spike. Thanks girls. You've been ever so helpful.” Fluttershy replied with a smile getting to all fours.

“Just remember. He may not feel the same way about you.” Twilight said in a serious tone.

“I know...” Fluttershy replied with a frown.

“And let us know when he wakes up!” Fluttershy heard Rainbow Dash shout as she left the house and took off to the skies back to her cottage.

With a new feeling of confidence in herself Fluttershy flew back to her home to check on Spike, hoping he would wake up soon....
