Do not just thumbs down this post just because the main characters are Confederate at least give my story a chance

Three friends are soldiers for the Confederate States of America but one fateful day they appear in Equestria. They do not know where or how they got there but they quickly try to find out about this mysterious new world. As the Ponies try to figure them out. (If you want to know what happens to historical people that get stuck in a pony universe this story is for you) I would appreciate some feed back so I know what I need to improve on
