Talking Horses

Jackson woke up and the first thing he noticed was that he was not on the battlefield anymore because he no longer heard the screams of dying men and the shots of rifles. Secondly, he could feel a bed beneath him. It was a bit small but he was not going to complain. He let out a groan because his whole body was in pain. then a voice said, “Hold still sugar cube you don't need to hurt yourself any worse I got my big brother going to get help so just hold tight”. He opened his eyes and turned his head towards the voice saying “Thank you”.

He saw a little orange pony with blond hair and a cowboy hat on and stared in shock as it said, “Not a problem strange critter I just hope y'all will be alright y'all look pretty beat up.” Jackson said in shock, “Did you just talk?” Why yes I did I take it you're not used to seeing us around your parts, by the way the names Applejack.” “A talking pony, in all my years never thought I would see one of those”, Jackson thought. “Name’s Jackson, though do you mind me asking where we are?”

“Why your at Sweet Apple Acres just outside of Ponyville in Equestria”, said Applejack. “I have never heard of this place called Ponyville does it side with the yankees or with Dixie?”, asked Jackson. “I have no Idea what you're talking about. Oh look here comes Big Mac with Fluttershy she will know how to help y'all”, said Applejack. Jackson looked over and saw a little yellow pegasus with pink hair with a large red pony with orange hair. Fluttershy looked over and saw the humans and was immediately shocked by the condition were in.

Fluttershy said, “Oh my goodness what happened to them?” George answered before Jackson could say anything, “We were hit by a cannon and it banged us up pretty bad.” As George started to turn his head he saw the ponies and said, “What the?” “What's a cannon?” said Applejack. George looks over to Jackson and says, “Did that pony just talk?” “I sure did”, said Applejack. George looked back at them and let out a scream that would make a little girl look manly and fainted.

Nathan apparently woke up during this and looked over to Jackson and said “Dude talking ponies”, and promptly fainted. Fluttershy squeaked and flew over to the two fainted men and said, “I don't think there is anything I can do for them I have never seen these creatures in my life I think we need to call in Celestia she should know what to do.” “That is not necessary for I am already here”, said a giant white pony with horn and wings. Next to her was a little purple unicorn that looked on in utter amazement at the humans. Jackson stared at the giant pony in amazement by its size and the fact it seemed to glow.

Celestia went towards Jackson and spoke to him saying, “So you are the ones that came into my empire through that magical disturbance. I am Celestia and this little one here is my faithful student Twilight Sparkle. I will see to it that you get medical attention all that I ask is that you answer some of my questions once have fully recovered”. “It would be my pleasure to”, replied Jackson. Celestia looked at Applejack and Big Mac and asked them to gather up the creatures belongings and she told Twilight to carry Jackson while she carried George and Nathan with her magic. Twilight picked up Jackson with her magic but he started flipping out and made her lose her concentration making her drop him on his broken arm.

He screamed as he passed out from the pain but as he was going into the darkness for a second time he heard Celestia say, “Maybe we should not have done that while he was awake it did seem to cause him distress.”
