Chapter Three: Dash of Love

Waking up the next morning in the barn with Applejack you started to ponder on how to break to her that apart from her you love Fluttershy, too, and that she returns your feelings, Leaving the problem to your future self you told Applejack good-bye, and that you were going to hang out with Rainbow Dash for the day (only to sort things out in your head) in Everfree Forest which she rejected at first but Big Mac talked her into letting you go. You then gave her a kiss good-bye on the cheek and took off.

On your way to Everfree Forest you thought about Rainbow Dash and how she is always loyal to you and willing to help you go that extra mile in accomplishing anything. You remembered telling her so much about your world and how humans fly using jets and planes that you ended up having her curious on how humans constructed such objects, wanting to learn more about humans’ ability to fly using machinery.

Upon arriving in Everfree Forest with the sun now coming up into the sky Rainbow Dash flew from above your head at rapid speed landing in front of you releasing a bright rainbow in the air. You stood baffled at her ability to do that new acrobatic technique but shortly afterwards she started to challenge you to a race which you didn't refuse because it could help you get your mind off of Applejack and Fluttershy, but you didn’t have long to stay stunned since she challenged you to a race

"Come on let's race again."

Rainbow Dash said to you as you sat down underneath a big oak tree outside of Everfree Forest tired from trying to beat Rainbow Dash in a complete race around the forest. Sweat poured down your face as you gasped for air tired that you knew you couldn't beat Rainbow Dash.

"Maybe that's enough racing."

You said to her as she was flying above your head looking down at you with her beautiful maroon eyes. Rainbow Dash was also breaking down sweat not from racing but from the hot evening sun that shimmered down on you two from the sky. "What if I offer you an incentive for racing me and winning?"

She said in a sweet tone to you as she flew backwards into the air. You paused for a second to think about what the incentive and the down side of losing the race might be.

"And if I lose?"

You ask her questioningly while she was still flying backwards. She raised her right hoof to her face and thought about what I would do if she won.

"You become my slave."

She responded. You then just stood and dropped your jaw at the thought of being a slave to Rainbow Dash. Then again it would be voluntary, and all Rainbow would do was make you say and do dumb harmless things as a joke. You stood still for a second not replying to Rainbow Dash, then nodded your head in agreement to her deal.

"We’re gonna do a race from here to Everfree Ruins."

Rainbow Dash said proudly as she started to fly high above your head.

"Alright."

You replied curious about what this incentive of winning could be; if the price of losing were to be her slave, maybe it would be vice-versa and if you won you could probably make her do humiliating stuff like she probably would have done to you. Then without warning you started dashing to get a head start of Rainbow Dash. As you ran, you didn't hear any kind of flapping of wings or see a rainbow in the sky over Everfree forest which gave you the feeling of winning.

After a few minutes of the running you started to think Rainbow Dash was letting you win as you passed several more tall oak trees and bushes in the forest till you heard something fly out from behind you at a rapid speed. You caught a glimpse of the thing that flew past you and saw a rainbow streak; you realized it was Rainbow Dash, and she was flying past you to beat you to the ruins. With no other choice you sped up running even faster, passing by Zecora who was trotting randomly in Everfree Forest as well, probably heading to her hut.

"What? Be careful you!"

You hear Zecora yell at you as you continued to run past her and deeper into Everfree Forest. You then wanted to stop and go back to apologize, but if you did Rainbow Dash would have gained a upper hand in the race so instead you kept running. After finally tiring out from running and just walking, you reach the Everfree Ruins. Destroyed marble columns and tile floors surrounded the area around you. You kept looking into the ever blue sky with bright yellow sun in the air to see Rainbow Dash who you knew beat you to the ruins, but she wasn't around.

Then with a loud smack something hit into your back sending you flying forward onto the destroyed marble floor below with a loud thud. You turn quickly to see Rainbow Dash rubbing her head with her hoof and you knew what was coming next from her mouth.

"What took you so long? I was just practicing my aerial acrobatics while waiting on you."

She said happily while looking at you with her maroon eyes. You groaned knowing you lost the bet against Rainbow Dash who stood up on her hooves and looked at you with a grin.

"And since you lost the race against me you are my slave till I dismiss you, and will do whatever I say."

Rainbow Dash said with excitement in her voice as you watched the sun begin to set. You simply nod your head; you knew Rainbow Dash would make you do silly tasks throughout Equestria and prove your loyalty to your bet.

"Okay."

You replied to her making no big deal of being her slave just for kick, as the afternoon sun poured down on you two in the ruins.

"As my first decree as your new mistress, I demand that you will compliment me."

Rainbow Dash said in a smug voice to you as you stood across from her as she sat on the ground. At first you wanted to laugh but the seriousness in her expression while waiting for you to say something was real. You then opened your mouth to let out compliments about Rainbow Dash as the fastest pegasus in all of Equestria.

"Are those really all your compliments?"

She said to you in a questioning way and put on a saddened expression. You took a second to try and think of something she would like to hear other than her speed as a pegasus, and then the idea about you talking to her about being the fastest and best Wonderbolt crossed your mind so you started to compliment her on that. But to your surprise this didn’t lift her spirit, on the contrary she looked even more dejected.

You then walked to her, dropped to your knees and pressed your right hand on her shoulder as she kept avoiding eye contact with you. As much as you found the idea of being a slave until she dismissed you really stupid you opened your mouth to say to the depressed Rainbow Dash

"Is there something wrong, mistress? I am always here to do anything you ask."

The same grin you saw earlier near the outskirts of Everfree Forest at the oak tree spread across Rainbow Dash’s face and she glanced at you with her maroon eyes.

You then came to the decision to go ahead and get this over with. You raised your other hand placed it on Rainbow Dash's shoulder. As you leaned in, she closed her eyes and you kissed her right underneath her rainbow-colored mane on the forehead. Then you withdrew.

"Done as you wished mistress."

You said to her in joy as she still had her eyes closed waiting for a different type of kiss. She opened her eyes looked at you confused.

"I want another kiss, and not on the forehead this time."

Rainbow Dash said in a semi-calm tone. You paused when looking at her and she closed her eye's again.

"Uh....sure."

You reply in a non-confident tone trying to figure out where Rainbow Dash was going with this kissing stuff. Sighing you once more raised hands, placed them on Rainbow Dash's shoulders and leaned in kissing her on the cheek. You backed away with a bit of awkwardness floating in your mind about the situation. Rainbow Dash didn't have her eyes closed for as long as before and she opened them with annoyance in them. You started to scoot away from her and not knowing what she might do.

The British speaking creature said somehow in both your ears mockingly. You stiffened into a board plank with both his claw and bear paw on your shoulder. "Discord, are you still here?"

You thought to yourself as you realized what was behind you. And you thought Fluttershy was making up stories about him to entertain you. With your sights returning you could see the brown door that had disappeared in the darkness caused by Discord to return in front of you. It really didn't matter if you could see Discord or not now as you were in fear of what he was able to do.

"I was just having a good chat with one of my new best friends about how amazing disharmony is."

He replied to Fluttershy happily as you continued to look at the brown door and heard more of Fluttershy hoofsteps come down her staircase.

"Oh-okay. But don't you think it's kind of late for that?"

She then asked him. You felt Discord raise his lion paw back onto your shoulder.

"You're right and I think I should take my leave. Have a good night, Fluttershy, my dear."

He replied and a poof sounded from behind you; a cloud of dust surrounded you blowing upwards all the way into your face. Then without a warning the red eyes of Discord appeared in front of you in the smoke.

"I wonder how you're going to fix this."

He said with his British accent mockingly and then finally disappearing. You stood paused and up straight even after having him supposedly leave, afraid that he may reappear at any given time. Finally relaxing and realizing he was gone you let out a sigh and came back to the focus on what you came to do. Doing an about-face you saw Fluttershy standing in front of you wearing a pink night-gown that matched her long pink mane framing her face. You stood speechless looking at her as she was looking down at the brown wooden floor below.

"Do you like it?"

Fluttershy said asking you excitedly and with a smile on her face. You stood amazed at her and beautifully crafted night-gown. You stopped and forgot all about telling her what you did with Rainbow Dash and Applejack as you continued to look at her in the pink night-gown.

"So ugh,  you got that dress for me?"

You asked her nervously. She simply nodded her head and tapping her front left hoof on the wooden floor twice.

"I was um.. well hoping to try it on with you, but I haven't seen you since a day ago when you left to go to

Applejack’s and never came back."

She said in a low tone that you almost couldn't hear. She blushed then looked back down at the floor as you also forgot to tell her where you'd been.

"I'm extremely sorry about that Fluttershy. Applejack wanted me to meet her entire family and I spent the night at her farm. And today I spent most of my time racing Rainbow Dash, you see."

You say to her in an apologetic tone hoping to have her forgiveness. You then walked over to Fluttershy and picked her up smiling and startling her a bit.

"But if you still want to try it on…"

You say to her laughingly as you went up the stairs of Fluttershy's cottage and to your bedroom.

"Wha-you mean now? I mean I wasn't even done yet as I forgot to tell you that Rarity invited us and all of our friends to a fashion competition she entered."

She said at rapid pace blushing like a wildfire as you reached the top of the stairs at last and arrived at the wooden door to your room. Bending now to reach for the door knob Fluttershy started to reach her light yellow hooves around your neck to make sure you didn't drop her.

Opening the door and turning on the light you were greeted by the same pink bed you got up from a day ago and the same wooden planked floor in the empty bedroom. Slowly you started to approach the bed and laid Fluttershy down on it. She was looking at you with a calm expression and a smile on her face as you removed your jeans and threw them to the bedroom floor.

You smiled at her while she looked at you as you climbed on top of the bed and over her. "Something wrong?"

"What does it say?"

You asked curiously. Angel then just cocked his head at you and balling the paper up tossed it into your lap. You reach your hands out and started to unball the white wrinkled paper. The hand writing was in black pen which was smudged a lot making it completely illegible for you.

"Alright I can't read this."

You said loudly letting Angel and Fluttershy know. Angel in response just facepalmed at you and started to hop out the room and downstairs.

"Rarity is having a fashion emergency and wants all of us to come over. Don't worry, you don't have to come if you don’t want to."

Fluttershy said replying to comment, about to leave the room. You were going to open your mouth and say you would like to go, but Fluttershy did stated all of us which also meant that Rainbow Dash and Applejack might be at Rarity’s house as well. You then started to remember what Discord said to you and what your original plan was for coming back to Fluttershy's cottage as well. With nothing to say to her you leaned over off the pink bed picking up your jeans and started folding them.

"Alright. I guess you'll just stay here then?"

Fluttershy asked you as you were left speechless still thinking about what you were going to do when you came here and chickened out. Making a quick response you shook your head yes at Fluttershy as she started to walk out of the room looking at you. She then turned off the lights and went downstairs opening and closing her cottage door to begin her trip to Rarity's house. "I'm so screwed tomorrow because I know Rainbow Dash will probably say or do something that will tip off Applejack and Fluttershy. You thought to yourself concerned on how it was going to go down tomorrow with Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy showing up at Rarity's show. With no more options left you came to the conclusion you would just tell all three of them tomorrow after Rarity went on stage at the fashion show. And after Rarity would go on you would tell them about how wrong it was from you to say you loved them and to cheat on them with their closest friend.
