Just a normal regular day working in the fields. Dustin thought to himself as he watered the corn fields. he looked up at the clear blue sky, the sun shining brightly right in his eyes. He smirked to himself as he happily trotted to work on the hen house. He went to his farm house found a toolbox and carried it in his mouth, still being happy. Dustin is an earth stallion, with a brown and white coat, his mane and tail were a dark shade of gold, with a black streak. He wore a hat, to cover his head from the sun. He was slim, not very buff but a hard worker, compared to the rest of the big buff stallions he knows in this country.

Dustin lives in the Outskirts Orchards of Ponyville. He gladly took this farmhouse because nopony would own it or go near it. Everypony thought the Orchards were haunted by the original owners, Dustin just laughed, and shook it off as a rumor and nothing more. As he neared the hen house, he pulled out a hammer and a few nails, and began to work on it. A few pounds with the hammer and the nails were already were going in the house. As Dustin continued to hammer at the nails, he stopped for a second, and looked up at the sky. He notice storm clouds were over head and coming in quickly, he dropped the hammer and nails inside the toolbox and trotted towards the barn.

As he put the toolbox down on the ground, Dustin then left the barn, closing the door behind him, and entered his farmhouse to prepare for the coming storm. Dustin got a few lanterns out on his dining room table in case power went out, he checked out the window again and this time he saw flashes of white in the sky. Looks like a really bad storm. Good thing nopony is out there during this time. I think. Dustin thought to himself as he sat in a chair and continued to watch the storm.

Soon, Dustin got bored and decided to make something to eat for himself. He looked in his cabinets and found a cans of beans, soups, and pastas. He took out two cans of soup, and put them on the counter. Next, he got a pot and filled it up with water. And finally, Dustin turned on the stove, he placed the pot of water on top. Now he had too wait for the water to boil, so he went to a pantry, and looked for a bowl. He opened the door to the pantry, and he found one, he closed the door, and he walked towards the dining room table and placed it on top of the wooden surface.

Dustin then walked back into the kitchen and opened a drawer containing silverware. He got a spoon, he closed the drawer, and walked back to the dining room table, placing the spoon near the bowl. He walked back into the kitchen to check the pot on the stove. The water was boiling, Dustin then opened a can of soup, and dumped all of the contents and the liquid into the pot. He grabbed the next can, and did the same thing. He got a wooden spoon, and began to stir the soup.

He continued to stir for five minutes, sometimes bringing the wooden spoon to his mouth, to taste the soup. He blew on the spoon gently then tasted the soup, it was very hot. Deciding to eat it early while it's hot, Dustin turned off the stove, and he carried the pot to the dining room table. He poured the soup into the bowl, careful that he doesn't over fill and spill it. As the bowl was full, Dustin walked back into the kitchen and put the pot on the back burner of the stove, leaving the wooden spoon in the pot.

He walked back out to the dining room and began to eat his soup all alone. He heard thunder rumble up above him as he continued to eat. Soon, the bowl was empty in front of him, he got up from the chair he sat on, picked up the bowl and spoon, and walked into the kitchen, and put the bowl and spoon in the sink. Nopony lived with him, so Dustin had the whole house to himself. He walked back to the chair and looked out the window again.

As he looked at the storm clouds, he noticed something black was in the sky, and coming down. He shrugged and said, "Just probably another pegasus flying and trying to control the weather." He looked at the black thing in the sky as it continued to descend further from the sky. Dustin the watched as the black thing dropped from the sky, and landed near the cornfields. He immediately got up from the chair, grabbed a blanket from the closet, dashed out of his house carrying the blanket with him, and ran towards the cornfields.

He ran and ran through the hard rain and soon he arrived at the cornfields. He looked down and saw a mud puddle crater, and in the crater was a black peagsus mare. Dustin had never seen a pegasus crash land before, he used a hoof and poked at the peagsus. She grunted and moaned a bit in pain, Dustin sighed in relief as he pulled the blanket off of his back and covered her up to keep her warm. He then went under the mare using his head, and lifted her onto his back, and he carried her all the way back to his farmhouse.
