Dustin made it back to his farmhouse, after walking through the terrible storm with somepony on his back. He walked through the opened door he forgot to close. He then laid the peagsi mare from his back onto the couch, the blanket still covering her up. He then walked to the kitchen and got a rag and a bucket of water, and walked back towards the unexpected guest he had in his living room. He placed the bucket down quietly as he could, making sure not to wake up the guest or stranger. Dustin then put the rag down into the bucket of water, wrangling it, and began to clean and wash the mare's face from the mud, dirt, and tiny bits of grass.

As he cleaned her face, he noticed that her face was all black, her mane was a sky blue with a black streak in it. He said out loud, "She's beautiful." Then, just as he cleaned the rest of her face, the mare woke up. Dustin's eyes widen as saucers as he dropped backwards in shock. The mare looked around, checking her surroundings, then she spotted Dustin. The blanket flew off of her body, as she walked up towards the farmer ranch pony. "Can I help you with something?" Dustin asked, trying to start up a conversation. "Yes you can start by telling me where I am," The mare said, looking him straight in the eye.

"Well let me start by saying you're in my house on my land." Dustin replied, getting up form the floor. The mare looked around her surroundings again, she saw pictures of Dustin and only Dustin. Their were no family and friend photos to be seen anywhere, from the way she could tell. The mare looked at Dustin again, this time she apologized, "I'm sorry, I thought you were holding me as a prisoner."

"Now, why would I do that?" Dustin said, looking confused. The mare looked down at the ground, and replied, "I thought you might sell me off to somewhere, or worse take me to the middle of the Everfree Forest and leave me to die, or worser than that you hold me as prisoner for years and I can't leave you at all."

"I would do no such thing." Dustin said, reassuring the frightened mare.

"Really you wouldn't?!" The mare said, getting closer to Dustin's face.

"Really now can I ask you something?"

"Sure what is it?"

"What's you're name?"

"My name is...."

"Yes?"

"My name is....".

"Are you okay?"

"Yes I'm okay. I just can't remember my name."

"Can you fly?"

"I can fly?"

"Oh boy this is going to take a while."

"What's going to take long?"

"Nothing."

Dustin and the mare just stood there, looking back and forth at each then away. Dustin held his head low, thinking of the one thing he shouldn't ask, but he did anyway, "Would you like to stay here until you get your memories back?"

The mare looked at him again and a smile formed on her face as she hugged Dustin. She then said, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You don't how much this means to me."

"You're welcome I guess."

"Now where would I be sleeping?"

"Um well."

"Hmm?"

"I never had a guest before so I guessing the guest bedroom that I have upstairs,"

"Okay. Can you show me where it is?"

"Yes."

Dustin led the way upstairs, the mare following closely behind him. He walked down the hallway, and came to a stop between two door ways, one on the left of him and one on the right. The mare looked at him, confused why he stopped. Dustin walked towards to the door on the right, opened it for the mare to step in. She walked in slowly, unsure if he was going to have his way with her. Dustin walked right behind her and walked past her, looking for the bed that was in the room. He found it, nicely made for any guest, the blanket was nice, comfy, and warm. He gestured a hoof at the mare to come over. She began walking slowly, making sure to run in case, as she neared the bed, Dustin uncovered the blankets for the mare to crawl in.

The mare jumped onto the bed, crawling towards the spot that was uncovered. As she crawled into the place, Dustin covered her up. "Is this comfortable for you?" He asked, in a reassuring voice. The mare nodded her head up and down, as she kept looking at Dustin. Dustin smiled a bit, then said, "I'll be in the room across from yours. If you need anything just wake me up and I get it for you."

"Okay. Thank you." The mare said, smiling.

"You're welcome."

As Dustin walked and and was about to leave the room, the mare spoke up, "I didn't get your name."

Dustin froze in place and said, "My name is Dustin."

The mare repeated his name over and over. Then she said, "Thank you Dustin."

"You're welcome." Dustin said, leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

Dustin walked towards his own bedroom, opened the door, and walked in, closing the door behind him. He walked towards his bed, removed his hat, letting his mane breath, and he laid down on his bed. He got under the covers, and before he knew it he closed his eyes, and drifted off to sleep.
