Chapters BLAG!
"Ow...." Twilight moaned, placing her hoof on her head, which was terribly sore thanks to the fall.
"Everyone okay?"
Rainbow Dash was the first of them to recover. She quickly nudged Fluttershy to see if the latter was okay.
Applejack and Pinkie Pie soon followed.
"Ya' know where we are, Twilight? Cause' this is weird." Applejack asked, pulling the cowboy hat beside her. "Somethin' tells me this ain't gonna be good."
Twilight stared at her friends with her pupils dilated.
"Where's Ra--"
"Oh, I can't believe that they have so many fabulous clothes!"
Applejack turned her head towards the direction of the voice.
"I can't see anythin', Rarity." she said. Twilight, however, was more focused on how Applejack said I without her accent.
"Before we talk about this, where are we?" Rainbow Dash nudged her topic in.
Twilight shook her head thoughtfully as Rarity went back to the group.
"We're doomed. Nobody knows where we are." she blasted with shock.
"Wasn't it supposed to be everypony ?" Pinkie Pie suddenly barged in.
Everyone turned to stare at her.
"Pinkie Pie, that isn't important." Twilight replied seriously, not realizing that Pinkie had said the word everypony and not nopony .
"First we need to know where we are and find a place to stay, because this clearly isn't Equestria." she said as she began to trot away.
"Hold on, Twilight. I think I've got myself an idea." Rarity stopped her friend.
Five hours later..
Twilight was tiring herself in creating a spell for a mental link.
"A little much longer and we'll be able to talk!"
BLAST!
"Finished!" she sighed before collapsing into a pool of sweat, extremely fatigued.
"You guys hearing me?" Twilight mentally scratched her head.
"Yeah. I certainly did! And that's because I'm * AWESOME!*" Rainbow Dash announced proudly, not realizing she was a little too noisy.
Rarity's voice followed into the void of mental links: "Dash, can you be a dear and soften your voice?"
"Ooh, a cosmicatical void! I * love** this!"* Pinkie Pie gleefully yelped, making a mental skip.
"Guess this gonna' be good for us all, won't it be, Twilight?" Applejack said, looking around mentally.
"Hey, hey, hey! How about Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash exploded, causing Twilight to roll off her bedding in the real world.
"Not funny, Dash."
"I'm... right.. here?" Fluttershy called out with her usually almost inaudible voice.
"Okay, time to start. I have learned from the - okay, they say 'people' - that we are in a continent called Runeterra."
"Rune- WHAT ?"
"Runeterra. * Ru-ne-ter-ra*. Got it?"
"Okay, got it!"
Rarity made a rather dramatic sigh.
"Oh, Twilight, can't we just continue what we are doing?" she moaned painfully.
"Hey, Twilight, don't you mind sayin' what we have to do to get back to Ponyville? Apple Bloom ain't gonna like this." Applejack pushed her way through the conversation.
"Ah' know you have an idea."
Twilight took a deep breath.
"I- I don't know what to do, Applejack." she stammered weakly before lowering her head in defeat.
"Twilight, we will always find a way. You ain't gonna give up on us." Applejack reassured her friend, giving a very faint smile.
"Applejack has a very important point, Twilight. I will have to agree with her." Rarity joined in, shedding a tear on the mental plane.
Twilight felt worry and compassion. She couldn't help but wonder if they had felt it too.
"Okay, I've been hearing these voices in my head for ten minutes. * TEN FREAKING MINUTES*." an unfamiliar voice suddenly muttered.
The Mane Six glanced at each other with shock.
"You're hearing these voices, too?" another voice, albeit lighter and more feminine, joined in.
"Okay, this is not good." Rainbow Dash whispered to her friends.
"Oh, no." Pinkie Pie said nervously.
"The deep voice is a little familiar...." Rarity stared at Twilight, who gave a confused look at the white mare.
"Oh, no-o-o-o!" Pinkie Pie screamed loudly, causing everyone to get flung out of the mental link for a few moments.
Twilight Sparkle checked her ears thoroughly, making sure they weren't damaged thanks to Pinkie's screech, then she remembered that it was a mental link...
She took a deep breath for the second time.
"I nearly went deaf to that, Pinkie. Try to be a little more careful!" Rainbow Dash bellowed with her complaining level to a blast.
"Sorry."
"Stop. Referring. To. That. Event. Thanks." the low voice barged in, sighing pathetically.
"Oh, Darius, you can't avoid it." Rarity pleasingly answered back to him.
"I'm probably going to have to agree with that, my dear." he imitated Rarity's way of speaking and even her voice perfectly, causing Pinkie Pie to burst to laughter.
"Oh, Pinkie Pie, please." Rarity muttered with anger in her voice.
"Oh, can't we just get back to Equestria??" Rainbow moaned.
"EQUESTRIA??" six unfamiliar voices said in unison.
"Teemo, you know anything about Equestria?" a young, childish voice asked.
"I only reached the Everfree Forest, and I really think you shouldn't use that gas, it sounds awful." a light voice with traces of experience replied with utter irritation.
"What's the Everfree Forest?!?" Darius bellowed, raising his voice to be heard clearly.
"You happy now?" Teemo said, sighing irritatedly.
"So you're saying you got transported by accident?" the same light, feminine voice (Which Twilight called Lux) asked curiously.
Twilight responded by stomping her front hooves in the mental plane.
"Oh, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" Rainbow Dash went back to complaining mode.
"Rainbow, I don't really think you should...." Fluttershy told her close friend, leaning close to her.
Pinkie's hair went flat.
"So, we can't return to our world, ever?"
Twilight gulped nervously.
"Pinkie, don't you ever throw that party again." Rainbow went back to her senses. I don't really know if we can return.... she thought, but then she saw her friends staring at her.
Oops.....
"Okay, I'm going to sleep. I hope you can get quiet." Darius muttered.
"I do guess you're right." Twilight Sparkle replied.
"Ooh, so we're going to throw a party tomorrow???" Pinkie gleefully asked her friends, her hair having poofed back to normal.
"I think we can have the confec--"
"JUST SHUT UP AND LET ME DRIFT OFF TO SLEEP!"
" I do guess he has a point." Twilight said.
"Anyway, good night."
"Night."
"Can we start a party tomorrow?"
"GOOD NIGHT!"
And Then Things Just Get Worse
Some two days after the screaming Darius with the ultra-high pitch incident, everyone had decided to meet up in the Twisted Treeline, which was oddly barren and eerily quiet for such an active day for summoners and champions alike.
Lux had said that the Treeline was usually barren, but Teemo said otherwise, since mishaps in the place makes it a favorite place for summoners to cheat, and the discussion about the unusual abandonment caused an argument that lasted for five minutes until Darius had furiously ordered them both to stop.
After a long discussion filled with fights, they went to the Institute of War's main building, which, unfortunately, was not available thanks to the vast number of summoners entering the field, and not too soon after, there was another argument between the occurrence, this time with Twilight Sparkle and Singed, who were finally interrupted by Rarity.
Every fight or argument soon ended with either Rarity's hiss or Darius's shout.
"Ookaay, so we had a huge party in Ponyville and then--"
Pinkie Pie was interrupted by Twilight, who then levitated the pink mare next to her.
"Pinkie! How many times have I told you not to tell those stories?" she whispered in a disgruntled tone.
"But it was just a little--"
"We still don't know if we should trust them, alright?"
"Okay.."
Twilight raised her head, only to find that everyone was staring at them both.
"Did I just forget about that mental link?" she muttered to herself.
Spike was having enough of everything. Twilight Sparkle hadn't returned to the library, and it has almost been a week. He went to Rarity to check what was going on, but found out that the boutique was closed, and the fact that Sweetie Belle told him she didn't know where her sister was only made him more anxious. He had sent a letter to Celestia about the disappearance, and the Princess herself was full of worry about what had happened.
Zecora also heard the news; she went up to the Cakes and the Apple family. She returned not finding any clues to where the Mane Six are.
Luna also went to Fluttershy's cottage and even Cloudsdale. No clues either.
Candance and Shining Armor (who were having a vacation in Manehettan) went to Canterlot, both demanding what was going on.
Celestia knew the whole of Equestria will panic should the Mane Six are not found.
Twilight opened her eyes and saw the sun's rays come in from the window.
It was another day in the mysterious world. She rolled off her bed, expecting to land on her hooves, which she did. She then turned to face the mirror, hoping she could brush her mane.
She stared at herself, blinking twice. Something was off.
As usual, she shrugged it off and went on to brush her mane, only to realize that the brush didn't have the solid magenta glow to it, and worse, she couldn't levitate it.
Angered, she turned to the mirror, and that was when she saw what was off.
Her horn was gone.
Whatdoidowhatdoido?!? she anxiously thought, taking the other's attention.
"You okay, Twilight? Are you distressed or somethin'?" Applejack asked her friend, who was pacing around the mental plane, agitated.
Twilight stared at her close friend and shook her head. She then pointed a hoof to her forehead.
"Your horn is gone!"
"Don't be like that, my horn had vanished last night!"
Both turned to find Rarity, also missing her horn, frowning.
"My wings too..." Fluttershy joined in, turning to her sides and revealing that her wings are missing.
"Why is this happening??"
Everyone fell silent. No one knew what happened.
Lux stared at the six ponies, examining them.
"I think this is a side effect for staying so long in our world. You do really have to find a way to go back home." Lux said with complete thought.
"This is not right! If Twilight only departed with her friends, how could they not be returning?"
Luna sighed as she watched her sister anxiously ordering guards to check the whole of Equestria. It was the six days after the disappearance of the Mane Six, and they were still no clues about their location.
"Luna, what if Discord..?"
"My sister, I found him looking for Fluttershy as I was travelling to Cloudsdale. There is little chance he is behind all this." she replied to her elder sister, cutting her off.
Celestia sighed. It wasn't a good day.
In Ponyville, Spike had been asking nearly everypony if they knew where Twilight is, and no one gave an answer. His worry for Twilight and her friends nearly brought him to tears. If he was a pony, he would have been anxiously sweating. Unfortunately, dragons didn't sweat, so he had nothing to do but to worry about them.
Trixie tiptoed around an abandoned house in the Crystal Scar. Being transported into the place a month ago, she was already human, but she had gained more abilities as well, including transporting other ponies to this world, and watching them from an uncertain place. Being responsible for pulling Twilight Sparkle and her friends to Runeterra, she wanted them to suffer for the embarrassment she had received in Ponyville, and she wanted to do it slowly.
Staring at the orb, she gave a twisted smile. Her revenge was getting closer.
Discord had long shared sympathy with Fluttershy after she befriended him. Now, he was having a feeling he couldn't understand, a mix of fear, worry, and sadness. He wanted to know where she was and take her back. He didn't want to lose his only friend, and these feelings now had him confused.
If only he could find his friend...
In an instant, he had teleported to a very dim place, tumbling before stopping head-first. Standing up and recovering from his daze, he saw his reflection in a mirror.
His form was much different now. A very unfamiliar one, indeed. He cocked his head to one side, and then to the other. He was utterly shocked on how he had managed to change his form.
Turning around, he managed to turn right to a sleeping Fluttershy. She had her whole body except her head in a blanket, and was sleeping comfortably.
So this is where you were all this time... he thought gladly. No longer caring about his new form, he laid himself down and placed a soft kiss on Fluttershy's forehead.
Fluttershy rushed to Tryndamere's bedroom, poking him awake.
"What?"
Fluttershy sighed in relief. Tryndamere then rubbed his eyes for a second, but everything remained the same. He fell speechless.
"What just happened to you?" he finally found his words.
"Yes, I turned into a human, but this isn't..... really what I was worrying about." she answered.
Tryndamere made an unsure look. "What is it, anyway?" he asked, putting on a forced smile.
"Someone.... is... sleeping in my room."
He sprung out of his bed and dashed immediately to Fluttershy's room, only to find a youth with short dark gray hair sleeping on the floor.
He instantly fainted.
Celestia managed to stay awake for four days without any kind of rest. Luna was altogether worried about her sister and the Mane Six, but has mananged not to show any traces of anxiety, which only made Celestia even more nervous.
Scootaloo had her own worries to attend to. She was about to hear another of Rainbow Dash's stories, and the next thing she knew was that her heroine was missing, which had wrecked her dreams and made her worried.
Explanations will have to do.
Introduction to New Things
Having Fluttershy believe Discord is really Discord was horrible for him alone. After spending nearly an hour explaining, she still didn't believe him, so he had no choice but to put up the chocolate rain, and that was when she started believing him. As for Twilight's demands about her overnight transformation, things didn't go very well. After having poor Lux state out the possibilities, she then produced a 200-item checklist and wrote everything .
As for the Mane Six, only Twilight was agitated about it. Rarity had took off the advantage of having hands and was able to fashion dresses easier and faster. Fluttershy also had an advantage, as she could scoop nuts to stray squirrels that survived (and was not barbecued by Tryndamere). Pinkie Pie also thought it was good news: she produced balloons at at shocking (for Teemo, everyone else was not surprised) 1-per-2-second rate. Rainbow Dash, despite not being able to fly, was able to outrun Singed, thrice, in their usual two-day race to see who's more awesome (which everyone now finds repulsive). Applejack also praised the transformation; she never knew picking apples was so much easier as a human.
Discord finally won the party's trust after three days, but still, the two Noxians still kept a close eye on him and made sure he wouldn't do something off-stage.
As for the relationships between the whole party, they seemed to get somewhat closer, and something didn't fee; right.
As for Luna and Celestia? Celestia's anxiety finally took the toll to her health, and Luna had to take the responsibilities of raising both the sun and moon, along with the task of taking care of her sister.
An empty life that was filled with nothing but obscuring voids.
Twilight Sparkle had thought it, twice. Nothing but war, violence and death. Oh, how she regretted creating that portal, but nonetheless it was already too late.
Even the summoners had no idea what was happening.
She gave a solemn sigh and continued reading in the dreary room. The room itself was untidy, a complete contrast to Twilight's usual organized cottage. The lamp, which sat beside the wooden desk, was glowing a dim red, another sign that she didn't even mind to light it properly.
Her business was interrupted by the creaking sound of the door opening. She turned around, staring with blank eyes at the blond-haired lady.
She was clearly irritated at this interruption. "What do you want?"
"I don't want anything from you, Twilight. I'm only worried for you." Lux replied, placing her wand down. "Your studies. I don't find them appropriate for you. It's only been two weeks."
"You don't care about it." Twilight answered back coldly. To Lux, the reply was dreadful. With the whole party agreeing to stay out of the mental link for now, she was confused at what to do. She didn't want to break the rules, and she couldn't break the rules.
She left the room. Just like that. No any other replies or even an expression. Deep inside, she felt horrible to have acted like that in front of a newly-found friend. A friend like no other. A friend like her.
"Hey, Lux, are you daydreaming or something like that again?"
Lux came back to her senses after that flashback, fell off her seat, and landed head-first into the carpeted floor. After a few moments groaning, she finally managed to prop herself up, but not before crashing again thanks to Rainbow Dash, who laid just beside her.
"Rainbow Dash, that wasn't funny."
"Oh, I guess I dashed to the wrong room!"
With that, Rainbow helped herself up and rushed to the golden ornate door, forgetting to help her friend.
"So, are you still friends with her?"
Lux helped herself up and then took some seconds to fix her ruffled hair before staring daggers at the Noxian, who was holding his axe clumsily while giving an unusually happy look.
Twilight was utterly right. This is going to be a confusing world.
"Ugh, stupid, stupid, STUPID! "
As usual, Rarity was still not recovering from that uneven-pleats-and-horrible-looks for eight days, and Pinkie Pie was already babbling her complaints against it.
And this day is just getting worse.
"Rarity. Shut. Up. "
"Oh, not this silk! This is the cloth I was talking about!"
Applejack couldn't take it anymore. She left the room furiously, not saying a word. Rainbow Dash was the second to leave before everyone started to file out.
Everyone was stressed out, and the next day is that they're going to Noxus to meet with someone who has power, and by the way Singed and Darius said it, didn't seem to be that nice.
Two weeks. For the sake of reality Celestia didn't want to believe it. So did her sister.
None of the Equestrians wanted to believe it. And now Discord has also disappeared.
As much as possible, the sisters attempted to act out everything. Celestia lied twice to the Royal Guards, just to make sure that Equestria wouldn't fall to the brink of insanity.
Cadance was also in full panic, even going in and out of Canterlot to check what was going on.
She nudged her tail back into position as she stared at the gloomy hallway of the Crystal Empire, her eyes focusing on the gate where so many guards had stood before. However, the palace was nothing more than an empty husk of a castle.
The time spent with the Elements of Harmony was very critical for the six champions involved, having to suffer by not showing their true personalities, especially for the ones who'll probably freak the girls out if they do.
Today, however, was the day to give news, so they would just have to actually admit it. In fact, Singed was totally reluctant, but since there'll soon be a meeting with the Grand General-turned-leader of Noxus, he had no choice.
He sighed pathetically before approaching Rainbow Dash, who was still sipping tea in the living room. The latter turned to the former. "What is it?"
"Yes, and it's about....."
His voice trailed off, and he gave another sigh. "..Our meeting in a far-away city-state." he stammered with an air of frustration.
Rainbow raised both eyebrows in confusion. She had no idea what a city-state was.
"Where, on the other side of Runeterra?" she asked, clearly confused.
"If it was on the other side of Runeterra it probably would have taken months to go there, and by estimating, it would have been Equestria." Singed replied, giving a decent eye-roll.
Rainbow Dash lowered both her eyebrows.
"I thought Runeterra was the name of your continent?"
"It's actually Valoran, not Runeterra. Maybe the ones you had asked were the ones who easily confuse them both."
"Oh." said Rainbow Dash as she continued on sipping her tea.
Singed was completely intent of grabbing the cap of his bottle to get the lethal gas out, but managed to control himself from doing so. He let out a deep breath.
"So, any more news?"
"Hey, Teeny, mind if you grab more flour?" a cheery voice echoed down the bakery. "We've got more baking to do!"
"Teemo, Pinkie Pie, it's Teemo." replied the yordle as he reached for the flour on the small table, but, as small as he was, he still had a hard time doing so.
Pinkie Pie balanced the dishes full of flour on her head as she grabbed the bag of flour with her soft shoes.
"Thanks, Teemo!"
The yordle smiled with joy, and he felt himself turning red with embarrassment as he imagined himself and Pinkie doing a catwalk in Bandle City.
"Ooh-ooh! I'm having a doozy!"
Pinkie's sudden remark had Teemo losing his balance - and saying that he finds Pinkie cute.
"That's the doozy, that's the doozy! "
Despite Pinkie's loud squeals, Teemo didn't hear her words as he fainted from shock.
A Slice of Shocking Events
Getting along with the new strangers didn't prove to be so bad after all. Lux was in paradise, having realized that Twilight Sparkle also shared her passion with reading. Pinkie Pie also was in good terms with Teemo, who, despite not being so excited with parties, liked to do mischief, causing a nearly endless chatter between the two. Applejack and Master Yi were also getting along pretty well, often noisily using their accents and causing disruptions between the more serious topics. Rainbow Dash also had comfort with Singed, being both extremely active and thinking they're so awesome (which disgusts Lux, Applejack, and Twilight).
As for Fluttershy and Rarity? No, they weren't even befriending with their companions, Rarity having complained that being with Darius was "The! Worst! Possible! Thing!" and Fluttershy being all reluctant in talking with Tryndamere, since the latter reminds her of Iron Will.
"Eeeeee!!!"
All of the hearers were agonized by the bloodcurdling scream, with Twilight being the first to react.
"Rarity, you nearly made me burn this house to ashes!"
"Dear, it wasn't me who had made that noise." Rarity replied with certain honesty.
Twilight ears drooped with shock, and she turned to stare at the others in the mental plane.
"Then who * did*?"
"The one missing in the plane!" Rainbow managed to guess the answer correctly, and Twilight looked at all the others.
"Aha!, it's..."
Twilight's voice trailed off, since there were two missing targets, and it was Darius and Applejack, who both had the least chances of having screamed that high.
"It does remind of Rarity." Pinkie Pie mused, scratching her head.
"But it was not I who did the scream!" Rarity complained to her friends, elegantly turning her head around. "Besides, I won't do that UN-ladylike scream."
"How about what happened at the Royal Gala?" Rainbow Dash teased, making Rarity turn just to stare daggers at her.
"Will you both stop it?" Twilight said in a loud voice.
"Before you jump to conclusions, I made that noise."
Everyone and everypony turned around to face the source of the voice, and suprisingly enough...
It was...
Twilight Sparkle was busy organizing another shelf of books as she thought about what Lux just said to her before leaving. With her companion gone and the residence a mess, this day was going to be a blast.
She was about to finish topping the last shelf when the sound of gallops stopped just by the door, and on the window was an image of a very furious Rarity.
"Oh, great."
The royal purple-haired lady stomped impatiently on the door as her eyes turned to Twilight Sparkle and a certain girl wearing a very frilly pink dress, having her brown curly hair tied to a ponytail with a huge ribbon. What frantically disturbed Rarity was the band of white running through the main curl.
Twilight hurriedly opened the door.
"Rarity, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-"
Her friend raised a suspicious eyebrow as she stared intently into the same frilly-dressed girl.
"Where's Darius?" she asked, raising the tone of anger in her voice.
Twilight responded by making a nervous shrug, which only seemed to anger her friend more.
"I don't think so."
With that, the girl in the dress started muttering inaudible words as she started breaking down into a cold sweat.
"I KNOW HE'S HERE AND I WANT TO TALK TO HIM! "
Twilight stood, awestruck at how Rarity could say such a thing.
"You don't need to hurt Diane, she's not doing anything!"
"Not if she's sticking her poor face in here! "
Diane dashed upstairs, tears on her eyes, sobbing pathetically. Twilight glared at her once close friend.
"Get out."
"I thought she was..."
"Just get out!"
Rarity stared at her friend blankly. They were about to break their friendship.
"If you say so." she answered coldly before leaving the house.
Twilight sighed with a hint of sadness as she watched her friend leave. She didn't notice it, but Rarity was crying.
"So, what do you think?"
The silence was cut off by a familiar voice.
"You were right. I have to talk with her."
