CB entered the room but before she could get a look the lights cut out, all that was visable was a red button flashing on a counter.

"lets try it, worth a press at least" CB said as she pusshed the button, the button cycled through colours and eventually screens all over the room came online, all displaying the same text, "ive been waiting for this time", it looked a bit creepy but at the same time familiar to googie but he couldn't fully understand why. CB couldn't feel the wind inside but she still shivered, the metal walls felt cold.

"I am the knowledge base" said a voice that sounded like it came from all of the monitors at once "you the only lifeform in this world may ask me three questions"

"ok first question" CB asked with a slight agressive undertone, "i have travelled to the void many times but i would like to know, how am i to travel into the deeper layers of the void?"

the voice replied with "your pack of parts and your little friend are the answers, i have sent him all the data he needs" just as he said that blueprints appeared on googies screen and he was amazed, looking it over he decided that they would build it when they next travel into the void.

"good, now second question," CB said feeling a little less agressive "what exactly happens when kreskan absorbs these things?"

"kreskan, his absorbtion takes parts of the world and sends them into a much deeper layer of the void, but in turn replaces that item with a piece of the void" the voice exclaimed

"and thirdly" CB was starting to sound upset now trying to hold back her tears "how do i stop all of this from happening? i cant deal with all this preasure on me saving these worlds, how am i who was a lazy slob almost 3 or 4 days ago, going to save billions upon billions of lives in an infinite number of different worlds."

CB started crying and the machine said "i have seen many things and many beings but i can tell you i have had faith in all of them and thier abilities, and you will learn what you need to do when the time comes" CB wiped her tears and walked over to the closest screen, "i shall now send you back into the void, it is there which you can only find your way" a flash of light filled the room, CB and googie found themselves in the void and following the machines instructions they got to work on this machine.

also sorry for the short chapter but there wasnt much on my checklist for this chapter, i have re-structured all the chapters and it turns out that the next chapter will be back to the original 800 words+ per chapter
