the work was tiring and felt like it would never end, all the parts linked together like they should but that didn't mean it didnt take a long time to get everything together for the machine. CB wiped the sweat from her forehead and began to hum familiar tunes, it was taking alot of time to sort this contraption out but it would be worth it in the end if she could protect everyone.

"i think this should work" said googie checking over their creation "now lets check if it works" CB pressed the button on the device and a tear opened before them, she then lifted the device onto her back and walked through, the next layer of the void looked the same but something was different.

"ok well here we are what happens now?" asked CB looking at googies visor for a response "i mean we have nothing better to do than to just go at it and strike fast".

"we walk, its an evil tyrant we are looking for so he must have an evil fortress" said googie with a slight giggle, they walked for what felt like 3 days, the void feeling more and more like an endless prison with no escape. suddenly darkness filled the void and a purple shadow like creature appeared in front of CB, its long forelegs reaching out.

"So you are the one i have heard so much about, you will never stop me" the voice came from the shadow as it was laughing maniacally "but i think you are too much of a nuisance with that thing on your back" the shadow protuded from the ground and crushed the machine, shards of metal and circuitry fell into the knapsack and looked seemingly unusable, the shadow shrugged it off as many void hole openned around CB and finally underneath her, she fell through it for what felt like an hour until she hit a hars surface.

"sweet celestia where are we?" CB opened her eyes and stood up, her hooves aching from the impact, suddenly she noticed she was surrounded by what seemed like alicorns, and there were at least 10 in this room alone, all strangely staring at CB their angry looks peirced through CB's heart like arrows, the air was cold and felt rough against CB's coat.

"earth pony what do you want with us?" said the smallest of the alicorns, he was around 5 inches tall but still looked intimidating dispite his size, "something seems different with you, allow me to speak with you alone" and just as he said that all the other alicorns left the room, " my name is inch punch nice to meet you" he said with a smile.

"i-i'm c-che-cherry b-berry" she shivvered and asked, "what is this place? where am i? what happened to equestria?" she stood tall and brushed herself off.

"if i believe so you are from another world, let us call that equestria one, if that is the case then i shall call my world equestria galve" explained inch punch as a small tear slid down his cheek, "this... this world has been ravaged by millenia of war, first against the griffins then against all the seperate pony races, then they all turned on us, the alicorns were oppressed" CB lifted inch punch onto her head and walked to an empty room.

It turns out inch punch was great with electronics because he instantly got to work fixing the machine, one problem was the base plate that all the electronics were attatched too was snapped and razor sharp, but inch punch made do with what he had and improved the device, to the shock of CB though inch punch had turned it into a blade, one able to cut into the void and create holes, during this time CB looked towards googie strangely he was whispering giberish and sparking up, the impact seemed to have made googie stop working properly, inch punch had a look, and with a few button presses googie was almost working.

"i will turn him off for a while, he will automatically turn on in a few hours, once that happens he will be good as new" Inch Punch said as he hopped onto CBs head "the holes your blade makes remind me of one of our lost comrades, he was captured by the other races, but he was driven mad through grim and cruel torture, and through his madness his magic created a hole which he escaped through, he was kind but now he is just out to hurt people, but enough about him lets get you out of this world i shall accompany you."

looking around they closed the door and started discussing tactics on what they should do next, getting prepared for the dangers ahead.
